Cecil from Same Day Chimney came out today and provided a deep cleaning of our fireplace and chimney as we are having a new fireplace insert put in. He was friendly, efficient and did an excellent job. The cost was very reasonable. Really happy with the service. Highly recommend!

Cecil is the king of chimney repairs! So I had another company come to clean my chimney about 5 years ago…what a clown. I own a local contracting company and it is obvious to me when someone is blowing smoke up my chimney. The first guy did next to nothing and made recommendations that didn’t make sense at all.
So I was hesitant to use anyone for this service…until I met Cecil at another jobsite. Cecil takes it to another level regarding knowledge and performance. When he cleaned my chimney it actually looked clean and he spent a lot of time being meticulous. He showed me pictures of repairs I truly needed and explained the situation in a way I could understand. So I hired him to do the repairs, and the work looked great! I’m a contractor, and I could have tried to do this…but I’m not stupid. I decided to leave this to someone that has mastered the field. And it was the right decision. Anyone that tries to do everything is a jack of all trades and a master of none. They shoot themselves in the foot multiple times and never get the job done the way it should be, trying to pinch a penny until it screams back at them.
Then to my surprise Cecil calls me a few days later wanting to come back and recheck his work. It takes integrity to do that. He’s not just on a cash grab, he’s a professional that has mastered his trade and cares about his clients. That’s why I’d recommend him to my clients and anyone that needed this service. We need more people like Cecil treating clients like family.

Same Day Chimney is hands down one of the most honest and fairly priced companies out there. I had a quote from another competitor who was several hundred dollars more and said I needed new flashing and a new chimney chase cover.

Cecil gave me a detailed play-by-play of my chimney’s condition. We initially thought both the chase cover and flashing needed replacement, but after a closer look, he realized the flashing still had a few good years left — saving me over $800!

He also found and removed debris inside the chimney chase that must have been left behind by a roofing company years ago.

Purchased a new home and needed all chimneys inspected. Cecil and team did a fantastic job educating me on my wood burning and gas fireplaces. I was in immediate need of a sweep and cleaning due to much buildup in the wood burning fireplace and chimney. Cecil’s assistant did an A+ job on the cleaning and chimney sweep. He laid out a protection cloth to protect my carpet, and the cleanup was perfect.I also give this company five stars for answering the phone when you call. I know that sounds odd, but so many businesses kick you to voicemail or lack priority in calling you back when you leave a message. I will use this company again in the future.

They were amazing! Happened to see their van around 8:30am , called them around that time and just had our service at 10am SAME DAY for our dryer vent! Their technician Cecil was amazing, he explained their services, how it was going to work and showed videos and pictures. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

First off, wow. The level of professionalism and education we recieved was worth it alone. We unfortunately decommissioned our chimney due to safety issues on our old fire place, but will be consulting with them on insert options. Cecil was over the top informative, clean, professional and quick. Even though we decommisioned the fire place we still got a deep cleaning service to remove the toxic debris built up from previous owners. Can't recommend enough. He took lots of photos and videos to show us before and after.

I had Sam day chimney service come out to service my gas fireplace, and I couldn’t be more impressed. Aaron arrived promptly, was incredibly professional, and took the time to explain everything clearly. His workmanship was excellent, and he went above and beyond to make sure everything was safe and spotless before he left. It’s rare to find service this reliable and courteous these days.

Cecil is the guy you want to work on your chimney! He was extremely knowledgeable and walked us through every step of the process, teaching us about what he was doing and why, giving us options on ways to work with our budget. We never felt like we were getting sold on something or pushed into anything. He was very considerate and did AMAZING work. I highly recommend him.

Great Service, totally professional. Cleaned chimney thoroughly. Extensive use of drop cloths. Very informative! Did a dryer vent inspection for no extra charge. Chimney was cleaned two months ago and smoke was down-drafting after the September cleaning. We only used it twice and called Cecil to clean chimney. Cecil had a huge pile of soot on the floor of the fireplace at the end of his cleaning Definitely recommend.

Amazing job! Cecil was a doll. He gave us so much detailed information and took pictures for us to see, which was really nice. He was thorough and honest. Our previous gentleman retired, and we were concerned about finding someone with integrity that would do a good job. Look no further then Same Day Chimney Service and they charged a fair price. I don't think I've had better customer service than I've had from Cecil and Same Day Chimney. I'm new to chimney ownership, and inherited an old on from the previous owners. Cecil helped educate me, did an absolutely thorough inspection, then made recommendations for what to do/repair - but without pushiness, the decisions were all left up to me. Scheduling was easy and fast, they were always responsive, and the work was immaculate. Thanks Cecil and team!

Cecil is amazing! He is passionate about the work he does and delivers the best quality of care for the industry. We got an appointment very easily within the same week, he arrived early with plenty information and tools to get the job done. We needed an inspection and sweep for our chimney and Cecil explained the differences between the levels of cleaning, the pieces involved, describes the type of fireplace you have and tells you where you can find the tag/serial #. He checks the chimney inside and out, takes photos and video so you can see from his point of view, explains what needs work and gives you a head's up at what could be an issue in the future, and provides very fair pricing for his services. I am very glad I found such a trustworthy and professional company, I do not plan to use anyone else!
