I highly recommend Jefferys Chimney Sweeping. Nick Jefferys came out Tuesday this week, in this cold winter weather, and did a great job cleaning our fireplace and chimney. He was totally professional, honest, and kind.
He educated me on the status of our flue and actually climbed a ladder and took photos of the condition of our chimney looking down, and then did a thorough job of cleaning it.
He also advised me on future improvements without pressure to do them immediately which I find to be trustworthy and honest.

Amazing work and Respectable service.

Our chimney was in moderate disrepair and we chose Jeffery's Chimney after some searching around Stark County. Scheduling was simple and their assessment was thorough. They were respectful of our property and got the job completed in a timely fashion (weather permitting). As far as the work needed, they power washed the chimney, removed the extra exhaust shoot from the previous house owner's addition, re-capped the top, filled in the cracked mortar, and re-tarred the flashing along the chimney base.

Their expertise was evident in their evaluation of the work needed and work completed. I have attached the before and after photos. The difference is obvious 😁

My husband and I highly recommend this family-owned company! Todd Jeffreys is incredibly knowledgeable. He not only cleaned and thoroughly assessed our chimney and the issue we were having, but also took the time to guide my husband and me through a deeper understanding of preventative measures. His help and very fair pricing made this an easy choice.

Jeff the owner did a fantastic job rebuilding & cleaning my chimney, as well as installing a liner and cap, and maybe saving me and my family from carbon monoxide poisoning, I can't say enough about the professional work they did, and at a fraction of the price of their competitors, I would highly highly recommend this business for all chimney repairs and maintenance, many blessings on them!!!

Had Jeff do some work to my house the work was not done correctly and needs to be redone when I confronted Jeff he left a very harassing voicemail treating and tryed to scare me out of pursuing collections! Do NOT USE very unprofessional

Jeff answered my call right away and fit me into his busy schedual. His prices were better than anyone else's I called and he came out and did a great job for us. We are now able to use our fireplace. I highly recommend him.

If you want an amateur patch job, look elsewhere. If you want work done by the pro's pro, call The Chimney Doctor. As a home inspector, I need to have confidence in contractors I refer and the The Chimney Doctor comes through every time. Call them. You won't regret it!

Jeff was very nice and informative over the phone, he came and completed the job quickly and with zero mess. The price for the service is very reasonable aswell. My only complaint would be that they do not accept card payments, it is cash or check only.

We had been having our chimney cleaned every year not realizing that the person doing it was doing an awful job and our creosote had built up terribly because of it. We called Jeff and he got out to our house within a week or so and our chimney is now clean and we feel safe to burn fires! They did a fabulous job and would highly recommend.

I have used this business for the past 10 years and they always do a great job. Jeff takes care of me too as a repeat customer. I normally call him in the summer and forgot this year. He managed to squeeze me in much sooner than I expected during a busy time.

Jeff came out to our house yesterday to quote some repair work to get our fireplace and chimney working. He was extremely punctual and professional. He did not try to upsell anything or pressure us into making any decisions. He was honest with us as far as what work NEEDED to be done to get our equipment working vs. what was unnecessary (things that other companies completely gouged us on in their quotes). The work he recommended doing was more in depth and actually addressed solving the problem as opposed to just covering it up like other companies have proposed but even with the extra work involved his prices were still lower than any other quote we received. Overall, very pleasant experience using The Chimney Doctor.

I would 100% recommend Jeff to anyone looking for chimney repairs. He has gone above and beyond to help me in a pickle which I had unknowingly created for myself while closing on my first home. I needed the chimney sealed semi-permanently and the gas line capped in order to close in time to avoid another extension. He was able to get to the work done quickly, and he was such a pleasure to work with. Thank you Chimney Doctor Jeff and crew!

I left a message asking for a chimney inspection. They called me back on Sunday +1 star. After we talked about the chimney we settled down to set up a time. I work Monday-Friday 7-4. They don't do ANY work after 3:30pm. I told them I am NOT going to take time off work (lose money AND pay them for the inspection) so the dude was like, ok, see ya.

The chimney doctor has so much work they do not care to work with your schedule.

They have done repair work on my firebox, flashing around the chimney, installed a new top mounted damper for my fire place, and preformed an annual cleaning. I have nothing bad to say about them.

The quality of the work is top notch. The knowledge and advice they have is extremely helpful. There's always something I find that I'm not satisfied with when hiring contractors, but with the Chimney Doctor that's not the case. EVEYTHING was done correctly and you can tell it's done by someone who cares about the quality of their work. The fireplace and area surrounding it was just as clean if not cleaner when they left. The pricing is competitive, and well worth it. When ever I've called, I get a response by the next day at the latest. Typically it's the same day.
