Our experience with Chiminey Cricket was fantastic. They arrived on time, were very professional, and took great care to lay down drop cloths to protect our home. The technicians were extremely knowledgeable and explained every part of the cleaning process. They used cameras to show us footage of the chimney's interior, and pointed to potential areas of concern and provided an estimate prior to end of day. The cleaning was done quickly... we'll definitely be using them next year.

Rebecca was awesome! Explained what was happening step by step. Took the extra time to show us what was happening and what the plan was to fix it. Extremely clean with their process! Polite, professional, all the things you want from a business! Greatly appreciated all the communication from start to end!

Tony Crawford was the technician who cleaned our ducts. He was fantastic and friendly. Great communication and explanation of the process. Very detailed and professional throughout the entire cleaning process.

Had then come to a clients house to inspect the chimney. The inspection report was very detailed and thorough. Had a few hiccups with communication initially, but the owner personally called me to sort things out and make sure I was taken care of.

We had just purchased a house and were looking to convert the gas fireplace back to wood burning. They answered the phone in person and could be there the next day which was great since most other places were weeks out. The guy who came told me that my fireplace was most likely sinking because of a leak in the chimney and the wall behind it was probably rotting and that’s why the fireplace was sinking. Also was told the chimney lining was worn through and we could catch the house on fire if we used the fireplace. I was so worried we had a major structural problem with the home we had just bought in addition to a non-working fireplace.

We got a second opinion given how much money was involved and were told there was nothing wrong with our fireplace or chimney, that the movement of the fireplace was well within normal settling, and there was nothing wrong with our chimney liner, in fact it was ready for a fire that night. Also no indication they saw of any water damage or any reason to believe there was a problem with the wall behind the fireplace. Relieved we got a second opinion before ripping open our wall and trying to fix a problem that wasn’t there. I wouldn’t trust this company, seemed to me they were just looking for a sale.

We have used alpine after her brother passed. Great service runs in this family. Attention to detail and safety is paramount for this company. Book early!! They fill up fast for a reason @

Alpine Chimney did an amazing job on our chimney/fireplace. We had our chimney tuckpointed and also had a gas fireplace insert installed this winter and we love it! Janie is great to work with I wouldn't use anybody else!

Janie took time to do a thorough checking of our chimney and explained what needs to be fixed. She even explained how to do it ourselves if we choose to, which I appreciated because I didn't feel like she was trying to push me into spending money if not needed. We did have to reschedule our appointment once because they got held up at another job but I could see how that could happen. They even took their shoes off at the door which I appreciate since we don't wear shoes in our house.

Janie just finished masonry work and chimney inspection/cleaning on one of my properties. She noticed my Dryer vent was stuffed full and since she brought her crew with her we decided to go ahead and clean out all my air vents in the house (I don't think they had ever been cleaned before) and dryer vent. I was so surprised at what came out. My family can breath better and my heater/air conditioner doesn't have to work so hard also, my clothes dry much faster. I didn't realize that the dryer vent was so full it could have caught on fire. Janie's know's her business. Their cleanup was so great that my living room was left cleaner then before they arrived. With Janie's knowledge and workmanship I would recommend her to everyone. Plus, she is a natural on top of my high pitch roof.

Easy 5-star rating for Janie and Alpine Chimney. Very responsive to our request for an inspection and cleaning of our chimney and fireplace. Did a thorough job and even provided us with a free education on fireplace function and air flow. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend this business. Andrew was very kind and knowledgable. We have never had a fireplace before and he took the time to explain everything to me. I felt very comfortable in everything he told us. Can't wait to use our fireplace this winter.

I had the best experience with both michael and Brian! They are very professional and super knowledgeable about chimney's. I also appreciated how they made sure everything was nice and clean when they were finished. I will definitely be using them for all my chimney and fireplace needs!!

I had called and set up to have my chimney and fireplace inspected and cleaned. Originally the appointment was set up for June 29 at 1:00pm we waited till approx. 3:00 pm with no calls from Janie, I called her and she had completely forgot about our apt. She informed me they could be here the next day. They did show up the next day. She informed me it need to be cleaned and wire put around chimney and I also had them repair a broken brick in my fireplace. Everything seemed fine. I had to run errands and my husband was here while her employee finished. However when I returned home later I found out that her employee helped himself to our gas in the garage. My husband also asked about the broken bricks in the bottom of the fireplace and he was told that they where nothing to worry about. I called Janie and asked her about this I told her I had concerns about it. She said she would talk to her employee and get back to me, never once mentioning that she had any idea about him taking the gas. I never received a call back. I called her back the following day and was given the explanation that she did not realize how far it was to my place and she had her employee put the gas in her car because it was low on gas. However let me stress not once did she or her employee ask me or my husband about the gas. The only conversation about gas was with my nephew asking directions to the closet gas station. Janie stated that she wold send me $20.00 dollars for the gas used, however I feel violated how could someone run there business like this. I used her service even though they where more expensive then others because she was the only certified chimney sweep and I know nothing about fireplaces and we have just purchased our home. She also requested picture of the fireplace bottom with other broken bricks and told me she would respond. I still have heard nothing back from her. And at this point I really dont want them to come back to my house.

Brian & Michael did a great job of cleaning my wood burning fireplace & chimney. They were very clean, wore proper PPE, very polite and were gone within 30 minutes. I wasn't sure what to expect as I just bought this home and haven't used a wood burning fireplace before. They both walked me through how to light a fire, how to keep the fire going and how to make sure the fire is out. I will definitely recommend them to many others and have them come back annually to clean and check my fireplace.

Alpine Chimney went above and beyond to take care of me after a tornado damaged my Chimney. I was under a deadline for the closing on my house and Janie got the work done! She is a pleasure to work with.
