After Calling other local Chimney Sweep companies for close to a month , my sister suggested I contact Janie at Alpine . She actually returns calls in October.

Alpine managed to fit me in to a very busy schedule & show up - They're experts took the time to educate me on my particular fireplace set up . A family owned business for over 25 years - they are true experts.

My fireplace had not worked correctly in 5 years , 3 Mid America experts took hours only to leave me with a sticker saying do not use , and where not sure who I could cal to get help -

Alpine quickly had the Fireplace working correctly and walked me through everything I needed to know to make sure it would be working safely & correctly.
Safety for myself and home where their biggest concern, I was very impressed with their knowledge and ability , they made my day !

I have Used Alpine Chimney Sweep for over 20 yrs .. we look forward to seeing them every fall to prep our fireplace for a winter of use… they are the Gold standard ! Great knowledge,service,passion,professional,work ethic,courteous,polite,clean,prompt,… just amazing work .. I have no worries about our chimney or having fires in our fireplace!

We had sold our home and the inspection wanted us to have a chimney sweep come to clean our chimney. After calling a few places in our area, I called Alpine Chimney Sweet and Janie answered the phone...a real person, not an answering service. Not only was she willing, she was going to be at the lake that very day. We scheduled the appointment and were totally pleased with not only her knowledge of fireplaces and the experience she had, but that she was willing to go 'the extra mile' in making sure our fireplace was safe for the new buyers. We would highly recommend Janie to anyone needing this service.

Janie and her staff were excellent. I had service done previously by another vendor and they left my fireplace in non working order. Janie found the issue very quickly and fixed the problem . They also looked at 2 other fireplaces in my house and fixed a second one. Janie and her staff are very knowledgeable and professional. The provided effective and efficient service at a fair price. The best service I have ever had for my fireplaces . Give them a try you will not be disappointed. Excellent all arround !

Alpine recently cleaned our chimney and I would highly recommend their services. Brian and Michael were on time and efficient, they took preventative measures to ensure our living room didn't get dirty and cleaned up afterwards. I had a number of questions regarding the chimney in our old home (1925) and they provided honest and knowledgeable answers. Great service!

Very happy customer from start to finish! I called Alpine to do a chimney sweep and dryer vent cleaning for my new home. The two guys that came were very nice and clean. They answered all of my questions without hesitation and even took the time to pet my dog so she'd relax while they were there (this is 5 star service). Due to a snow storm, they had to come back to finish the dryer vent cleaning. They were always quick to respond with additional scheduling and kept me in the loop every step of the way. They noticed the dryer vent wasn't set up correctly originally and not only got everything cleaned but fixed the improper set up. I cant thank them enough for going above and beyond!!! I also appreciate the thorough inspection report they send within a few days. I am definitely a life-long customer!

We hired Alpin to clean our chimney but after inspecting it Janie was able to help us with much needed education on issues with our fireplace. She is extremely knowledgeable, honest and helpful. The folks at Alpine chimney sweep are really great. Although they have to come out and inspect your chimney before they sweep it for an additional fee they were very courteous and professional and timely with their services I would highly recommend them.

I had Alpine clean and inspect our gas fireplace. Janie and Jenna were very knowledgeable and friendly. As someone that has never had a gas fireplace before, they also did a great job explaining how our fireplace worked. Would definitely recommend!

I highly recommend Alpine Chimney Sweep. Our chimney cap had been missing for a while, so I had them install a new one. A few days after, we discovered a raccoon and her babies were now trapped in our chimney. I called Alpine and they came the same day— after their scheduled work hours. They were able to remove the raccoons and all the “debris”and reinstall the cap.
They are professional, knowledgeable,
friendly and very easy to work with. And they work so hard! We’re planning to hire them for future projects, e.g. installation of a gas insert.
I encourage anyone to hire them for chimney service. You won’t be disappointed.

They were on time and very informative regarding the state of my woodburning fireplace. They were honest about the condition and didn't recommend any unnecessary items. Will definitely use Alpine in the future for my fireplace needs!

I've trusted Janie and her team, most recently Jenny, to inspect, repair and clean my chimney for 3 years now.

I always get the best service. Expect clear and honest communication about what needs to be done, with no b.s. or upsells. This is a contractor you can trust to do a terrific job at a terrific price.

We bought a house that had a wood burning fireplace that we wanted to convert to gas. My husband got in contact with Alpine and they came out and gave us an estimate on our main fireplace and the other one we just wanted the stove removed from and another wood burning stove removed from the garage. Based on these reviews that seem excellent and talking to the owner we hired them. They ordered the wrong fireplace insert initially which was not noticed till install. They took it out and ordered the correct one. This is where things went wrong. We contacted over and over and over and they either don’t respond or give an excuse on why they can’t come out. I understand being busy but RESPOND to your customers. They finally came out and put the correct fireplace in and removed the 2 stoves but the chimney cap was not installed correctly and they left a pipe in the garage. To get them to come out to complete the job it took more unanswered messages until more than a month later they came out.

We initially contacted in Feb and now it’s middle of May. Maybe they didn’t like this job because of how much needed to be done but regardless they took our money so i expect the job to be finished in a timely manner with communication.

The owners assistant/tech was very nice and I think did the best she could with the situation.

In response to the owner: there is an invoice as of 20min ago which we will gladly pay just like we would have paid any additional cost to complete the work we wanted done. We will not be using the company again nor would I recommend them.
