Deeshon was very friendly, professional, and helpful. He completed the job very quickly, explained everything and was very efficient. I'm very happy with the service I received.
The reason for 4 stars is because we had a previous technician (not Deeshon) who didn't show up for two different appointments. Someone called us to reschedule and stated they would get us a new tech this time, and I'm happy we were able to work with Deeshon.

Wow!!! I didn't know what I didn't know... when cleaning out my air ducts, I found that the construction company who built my home had left a TON of debris in the air ducts, causing air flow to be significantly sub par. With Purple Ducts, we were able to get pictures of the before and after and holy moly... it was like night and day. Highly recommended to any and all!

What a terrible experience. I had my ducts cleaned a few weeks ago by Purple Ducts SLC, and they embody the worst in business ethics. They have low-grade equipment and poorly trained staff. I sadly need to have them cleaned AGAIN. Grrrr.

Btw - the positive reviews here in Google are mostly fake. Do your due diligence, watch a youtube on duct cleaning so you know what to expect and find a reputable company. I learned the hard way that a good duct cleaning should take 5-6hrs and cost $600-800, not $180 and 30min of work.

A total scam... Look them up on the Better Business Bureau and they have a rating of an F. Nothing correlates between their web page and facebook. They do hold a license in the state of utah, but it is within this year that it was started. They claim to be in business for ten years, but yet they're based out of LA california. There are multiple numbers that seemed to go to personal phone numbers or goes to a Google number. For being a business that has been in business for 10 years. You call 2 different numbers and it goes to a personal phone number. There's just too much that doesn't add up, be careful. There are many scams that are going around dealing with air duct cleaning. I had requested services from them and they sent someone out to do our inspection for a set price and after being here gave me a higher estimate. I got kind of curious and started looking up different things about them. I suggest you do your due diligence and check on these types of businesses that are on facebook. You'd be surprised just doing a little research, what you can find or not find on businesses.

Amazing service!
They came on the same day, got my air vents cleaned, as well as my dryer vent. I added sanitizing and my house smells so fresh! The technicians were polite and speedy. Overall, I would highly recommend this company for anyone in need of a deep vent clean!

Used a handheld system not attached to an exterior power device , so not a push pull system which is far superior . Too expensive for what they accomplished and of-course they always charge more to really finish the job. Should’ve known better . Detached a number of vents that had to be glued afterwards . Parked an old van in my driveway and left oil stains. Messaged them repeatedly . Promised to come and clean it. Never did . Very poor service . Can’t recommend.

We cancelled. One guy came. He did not have a ladder or any equipment. Argued with us about ducts that needed to be cleaned, we scheduled a premium service, were told it was $199 per unit (furnace or air conditioning unit) for the ducts. He wanted to charge us more for the return vents, did not know it was supposed to be premium service. SCAM. We sent him away and cancelled the service the following day

This company was quick to respond to my request. They showed up and appeared to have a couple of vacuums and didn’t seem to have the right equipment for my system. I also believe that they plugged my dryer vent and nobody is responding to my messages. I will definitely use a different company next time.

Received a service from them, technicians name was Joseph. Their technician no showed the first time and then was super late the second time. He said he would add an extra service and I had to pay him separately, so we did and he never did the extra service we even helped get him towed out cause he got stuck in the snow and he still never responded to my messages we paid almost 1000$ and our home still has issues that it had before the service which they guaranteed they would follow up if that happened. No followup and they just took the money and ran.

I was shocked with the amount of lint and fire hazard the guy got out of my dryer vent . I knew it’s needed to be done and I think every home owner needs to consider it . My experience were great I decided to get my air vents cleaned out as well while the gentleman was already doing the work at my house . Price were fair and reasonable, service were great . I’m very happy I choose the right company .

Lucas quoted me one price. He came with another person and once looking at my dryer (for 10 seconds) they said $280. Ridiculous! The outside vent was 12 feet away from dryer inside house. I was shocked. But they told me that most other companies would be three or $400 if I was lucky to do this. I felt very intimidated and pressured. Instead of waiting to go with someone else I went with them. They did lower the price to $220. Still it was ridiculous. I will never go with them again. Plus the receipt did not say their name of purple ducts. It was central properties. Like they were trying to do a different business.

The technicians were nice, and they did a good job cleaning all the house vents. Unfortunately, the hvac required minor maintenance afterwards to get it to run again (the pressure switch hose was disconnected during their cleaning and no checks were made to verify system functionality upon completion of the cleaning). Apparently their 40% off quote translated to $11 more expensive than the regular price. The included services were misrepresented and I ended up being charged 3x the quoted price to get the service I thought I was quoted.

Legitimate scam! They went to my neighbors and conned them into posting on our neighborhood Facebook page asking for five others to join them in a “special discount” of $199 instead of their normal $299. Though when they arrive to your house they claim it’s much too dirty for that rate and it will actually cost $999 and another $100 to clean the dryer vent.

TL;DR, their communication, scheduling, and professionalism is sub-par, the office staff is lacking some basic knowledge/training of the work process and the tech I dealt with didn't respect me or my time as a client, I would not attempt to do business with them again.

Made an appointment 7/28/23 for the following day to get a dryer duct cleaned, made it abundantly clear the vent was on the third floor wall of the home and that a unusually long ladder would be necessary but I was assured multiple times "that's no problem".

My 3 hour window rolls around and I don't receive a phone call from the tech so I call the office/leave a voicemail, tech calls me back 5 minutes later to reschedule for Monday as "he's massively behind" I ask if he "can swing a later appointment today its an urgent service need" he says "maybe between 3-4"...I never heard from him (again). I call yet again around 4:30 and hear "I don't have a ladder tall enough to reach your vent I'll have to buy one and reschedule for Monday".

Here it is Monday and my appointment window just ended 40 minutes ago, I just got off the phone with the tech/office who I had to call again because I didn't hear from the tech who notified me that "we cannot get a ladder from home depot that tall to service your vent" there's currently 5 sitting in stock 3 miles away at the home depot that would reach my vent. I tried calling the office back to make a complaint about the tech and now they wont pickup.

*** After speaking with the regional manager just now i was informed they "do not service vents over 24', and that they should've known and communicated that to me at the time of booking" and she apologized for the lack of communication and respect of my time by the tech. She offered to find a second company to do the service at a similar rate to what they originally quoted me.***

Oh my gosh, I can't believe this! I got scammed on Facebook. These people were asking for help to save their business, and they promised a 45% discount if I supported them. I agreed, thinking everything would cost $550, but guess what? I ended up paying $841! And to top it off, they didn't even clean everything they promised. The next day, I texted the worker to complain about the horrible job they did, but she completely ignored me and stopped responding. I'm so glad I have an AmEx card. I'm calling them tomorrow to dispute the charge and block this company forever. What a nightmare!

Not a professional company at all and does not do what they say.
Contacted for duct cleaning and dryer vent cleaning. Dryer was throwing a code D80 for blocked dryer vent. We had tried cleaning but the run and rise on our vent is crazy long. It vents through the soffit on a patio home.
They cleaned outside entry to dryer and some crazy, lame "duct cleaning". They looked at our vents as this is a new build and said vents had construction debris. Took a picture. Asked for that to be sent to me. They said no problem, they would send it through my email. Gave her my email address. Quote was $800 to clean the ducts. Whatever. Thought that is what they were doing.
They left a filthy mess on my floors and rugs that had to be scrubbed up.
Next day, doing laundry and the dryer threw the same code. So, what did I just pay $325 (oh yes, there is a $25 service fee they don't tell you about until the work is done) for? Messaged them. Their response, in a nutshell, we cleaned the vent, air flow was good outside and also checked the dryer. We will come out again and check. That was 6 days ago. Nothing.
Meantime, my husband slides the dryer out again and low and behold, they crushed the vent pipe pushing it back in. No wonder it threw the code. Professionals, I think not.
Bottom line, do your research and skip these scammers.
Still waiting for the pictures...had to give my email address again and for the follow up on the problem.

WARNING: DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!
I don't usually write reviews, but wanted to spare someone having a similar experience as me. I had hired this company-after seeing decent reviews on google- to clean my dryer vent because a code continued to show that there was air flow blockage. I had already vacuumed what I could out, but wanted a professional job done to thoroughly clean out the hose. Listed on their website was a service for $99 to clean up to 25 ft of dryer vent. This company was very unprofessional- no uniform, or card, marked vehicle, or receipt.
The technician sent brought his girlfriend along to watch the job. He was concerned mostly about who was paying for the job, which I told him I would. He told me I would need to upgrade the cleaning if I wanted the hose cleaned, and that the basic $99 service was just to vacuum behind the dryer. I needed the job done so I went ahead with the upgrade cleaning that he quoted at $299, even though I felt like it was falsely advertised. The cleaning consisted of him putting a few feet of a shop vac hose in my dryer hose and leaving it there to do it's job while he sat on my stairs followed by a quick "sanitizing" with another hose, that took all of 30 seconds. He showed me the hose when he pulled out which was clogged with lint; I'm assuming was like that from the start and didn't really clean anything. And I appear to be right.
After he left I checked the dryer and the hose wasn't even attached, and the dryer code still reads as being clogged.
I also read more reviews and saw on yahoo similar experiences by others. He was pretty aggressive with getting payment and not knowing only cash was taken beforehand, I didn't have that much cash on hand. I offered to call the company and have them take my card, write a check, or even send venmo but he insisted he did the job and should be paid directly. He also told me he could wait for me to go to an ATM to get the cash.
After feeling quite uneasy with his with his pressure of cash only payment, checking the job and seeing it wasn't done, and receiving a few accusing texts, called the company- and eventually was able to talk with a person who apologized and offered to send another technician out and charge only $199 with a 10% discount. The service was never done in the first place and they wanted me to pay more to try again.
There are several other sketchy details, but long story short. Don't use this company. They are not what they advertise and made me feel VERY uncomfortable with their service and having their technician in my home! I was glad to have my dog and older teenagers around when they did come.

Total scam. I saw an ad that said they were a local small business needing help staying afloat. They quoted $250 for a list of services and 10 minutes into the appointment changed the quote to $3500. Totally unprofessional. Just a guy with a small toolbox and a large portable vacuum he called an “industrial cleaner” He followed me into my bedroom when I went to call my husband for a second opinion. Then he put the vacuum hose down my vent and said he couldn’t turn it off for 30 minutes and I had to pay $1500. We went outside when I asked to speak to his supervisor Shirley who said there was nothing they could do. He was rude & loud because I would not agree to pay more than what I had authorized. I have most of it on video bc I was scared. I paid $200 to get him to leave with the job entirely unfinished. What happened at this appointment was criminal. He even asked for a picture of my ID. My neighbor overheard what was happening and he came over to make sure I was okay, thank heavens. Beware.

Honestly one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a service company. I would avoid this company at all costs. Similar to other reviewers, they showed up and told me it was a “waste of money” to do their basic cleaning package and that I needed to upgrade to their “full cleaning” to clean the whole system. I was under the impression that the basic cleaning was cleaning the whole system. So that took my bid for two furnaces from $350 to $800 a furnace, $1600 total. I told them I was not willing to make that jump and the area rep that was there was super rude about me not being willing to pay that difference. The service tech was more reasonable and came up with a plan to help us get what needed to be done but at the end of the day, I still spent $1000 on a cleaning that was supposed to be $350. I told myself it was okay because it would be very thorough and that I would be happy with the results. Not the case at all. They covered my house in dust, didn’t even clean the vent covers or returns, and they even put vent covers back on with toys still in them. They were here for a total of 1.5 hours. I spent the rest of my day cleaning the vents myself and vacuuming all the dust and blue fibers from each vent and surrounding. I was extremely disappointed with their attitude, the clean itself, the price, and everything in between. I wish I had just sent them away when they 5xs the price on me.

I am so happy !! Johnny was exceptional at his services. He explained to me how the entire process worked, provided a quote on-site and was able to so the service immediately after. I can't believe my ducts and dryer vent were so dirty!! He showed me the photos after. I truly can feel a difference in my system. My house is a lot less dusty!!! Thank you!!

Very professional chimney sweep service. The technician was knowledgeable and took the time to explain what needed to be done. He worked efficiently while still paying attention to every detail. My chimney looks great and functions much better now. I felt confident that the job was done properly. Excellent customer service and great workmanship. I highly recommend this company to anyone needing chimney cleaning.
