Jud was professional and on time... gave us a competitive estimate for new clay flue collars, new crown and intallation of chimney caps as well as brick cleaning and breathable water repellant for our original 1949 chimney. Everything turned out perfect and it looks great!

Hey guys, thank you so much for cleaning and inspecting my stove and chimney. For those of you looking for a good chimney company go with them. My family has used them since September 1997 for all our chimney needs. They arrive on time, are courteous and ask questions to help you with the issues you are having. They do liners/inserts, chimney caps, fix chimney crowns and sell/install Regency Stoves.

This company was great from start to finish. I emailed them from Angie's List and they got back with me right away. They gave me a price and said between 10-12 on Saturday and they called me at 9:50 and were here promptly at 10:00. The guys were very professional and very friendly. They cleaned the dryer vent and then cleaned up the debris that came out of the vent and there was alot, and even hauled it away.
I highly recommend them.

We called this company to have the top half of our chimney removed since it was in very bad condition and not deemed safe by my house inspectors prior to purchasing the house. They sent out one of their men within a few days of calling who left us a quote. I set up a time for the removal and they showed up on time, called me at work to let me know they were at the house, and were very courteous and professional. All the debris was removed and they did a fantastic job. All my neighbors were delighted to see this done since it did pose a danger and was pretty unsightly. I would definitely recommend this company.

If you're looking for chimney repair, look no further. From competitive estimate (Jud) to completion of work (Brian & Brent), I couldn't have imagined a more professional experience. They did exactly what they said they'd do exactly when they said they'd do it. They did thorough and high quality work. My wife and I honestly cannot thank Jud Irish and his install crew enough.

We had a leak around our chimney that we called a highly rated company out for, they botched the job and the leak got a lot worse resultant.

Jud came out, listened to my story, climbed onto the roof and identified a 3 part problem live and in person as he ran down what needed to be done. He also took tons of photos (which i sent to the company that botched the job, and thanks to those photos, we eventually got our money back from them after some thorough explanation to accompany them on my part to the owner, and per Jud’s observations).

The bid via The Chimney Specialists was also more than fair, and Jud had guys on our roof 1 day AFTER the first heavy rainfall so we suffered minimal additional damage via the leak.

Zack headed up the install. He worked with us patiently to match our existing 1963 home’s original brick as closely as we could, he rebuilt the upper portion of the chimney, installed a new flute as well as outlet hardware, added a drip edge, cleaned and inspected our existing fireplace insert and even repaired a small hole in the heat shield outlet so we were 100% safe to burn.

Lastly, he professionally replaced the entire bogus counterflashing job.

In the end, we stopped the leak, had a beautifully rebuilt chimney and are now safe to use our fireplace as we do on occasion.

Jud , Zack and team were also extremely communicative throughout the entire process, on time and incredibly knowledgable and professional.

I will be using this company from now on. I had been struggling with a different chimney company that had poor communication and was disorganized. The previous company I was working with had recommended a chimney topper and a separate damper, amounting to nearly $1000 for installation! I'm so glad they lost my business and I found this company. The Chimney Specialists, Inc were able to see me within a week of calling to place a lifetime guaranteed top mount damper so that I can actually use my fireplace again. The person I spoke to on the phone was courteous and professional, and suggested a top mount damper given my description of what I needed. The cost including tax was around $530, and I am very pleased with the work done. Kyle and Zach came out and had it placed within 15 minutes. They were also careful to use a drop-rag and clean up after themselves. They made sure that I tried to use the damper myself and didn't have problems operating it. The previous owners of my home had it closed off our fireplace, and it wasn't functional when we moved in. We are so excited to get to stay warmer this winter! Thank you Kyle and Zach.

Brian H and Brent were extremely professional during the 3 days they worked on our home. They were friendly to my nosy little dog, and left the area cleaner than when they arrived. Brian kept me informed as the project progressed. When getting the estimate, we were fully informed about cost, procedures, duration of the project, and about other options. There were no surprises, and I would recommend them without hesitation. Additionally, Katy from the office staff was very helpful and pleasant.

We were in need of a new wood stove chimney pipe due to a botch-job on the original installation. We weren't aware of this hazardous condition until we had called Chimney Specialist for a sweep and the field crew pointed it out. We were provided a quote (the day after the Superbowl!!)(impressive) and the work was scheduled just a week later.
Fast forward to the install. The crew of Lenny and Hunter were amazing. Not only were they professional, informative and skilled, they were truly nice guys. It couldn't have been an easy install given our lofted ceiling and when they encountered a situation (wonky ceiling joist locations) and I'm dreading the "unforeseen field condition" change order, they merely pointed it out and made it go away. Awesome.
The finished product was perfect. These guys know their stuff and as an extra bonus, I'm pretty sure the work area was cleaner after they left than when the arrived.
If it were an option, I'd give them 6 stars!

I called just for inspection and clean they said between 1-3pm sat. I'm glad they called 30 minutes ahead to let me know they'll arrive in 20 minutes, I forgot they were coming over! They were very courteous let me know what they were doing, they had everything done in about 30 minutes vacuumed and cleaned up better than when they arrived!! Then they built me a fire so we could check it out. They did an outstanding job, I'm very happy and will recomend them to all. Never had a fire w/o smoke and smell in house, it is so nice it operates perfect.

Jason and Collin were very pleasant and professional. They arrived on time, explained everything about the job, and even provided details about my furnace connection to the chimney I was unaware of. Overall great service. I would definitely recommend.

I had my chimney video-inspected and cleaned. The technicians were courteous, efficient, knowledgeable, and they even threw in a free ash-pit cover, since mine had disintegrated. They put down a canvas tarp to catch any stray debris during the clean, and left my house just as it was when they arrived. They went over the report with me and gave me a realistic estimation for when I should have it cleaned again. I would recommend them to anyone looking to have their chimney inspected or cleaned.

I called to book an appointment to have my chimney cleaned/inspected and they were able to fit me in the same week. The team showed up and we’re super professional, pleasant, and proficient. Work was done in about 20 minutes and I’m good to go for a year! Compared to other companies, they were very competitively priced. I also appreciate they didn’t try to upsell me on anything extra and provided a little education about more clean/efficient burning along the way. If you are looking for chimney maintenance, these are your people!!

Had the Chimney Specialist out to do some Chimney repair work today . Brian and Brent showed up on time and ready to work. I can not say enough good things about these two.They went above and beyond my expectations. When they got here they noticed somethings that needed to be addressed. They took it upon themselves to do the extra work , thank you .

I scheduled an inspection and cleaning for two fireplaces including the flues and chimney. Communication with the booking team was quick and easy, and the wait time was low.

The technicians were on time and extremely knowledgeable which was very reassuring. The work was completed quickly and tidily with no up-sell or bogus offers. I was extremely happy with the whole experience.

I had a poor experience with a different company who grossly inflated their charges based on a phony evaluation. The Chimney Specialists were light years ahead, trustworthy and efficient.
