Dakota was right on time, did a thorough job, cleaned up after himself and answered all my questions. He was courteous and respectful, and seemed knowledgeable about duct cleaning. Brookstown gave an estimate over the phone based on square footage and there were no surprise charges…the invoice matched the estimate.

I found this company online with positive reviews and scheduled an air duct cleaning service. When the technician arrived, he appeared confused because he mistook my house for one with floor registers instead of ceiling registers. He also mentioned that he should have a helper for this type of job and that his step ladder wasn’t tall enough to reach the main return for my HVAC system. Fortunately, I had a ladder he could use, so we didn’t have to reschedule.

The job took about three hours to complete, and I believed all the air ducts were cleaned. However, the very next day, I went to replace the filter in the air handler and noticed that the return duct was still full of dust and untouched. After speaking with the company, they sent out another technician who also had to use my ladder.

The second technician was very apologetic and made sure to complete the job, which took another 1-2 hours. One thing to note is that both technicians didn’t wear any shoe covers when walking through my house. We don’t wear shoes in our house, and I think if you’re going into someone’s home wearing work boots, you should have covers to avoid tracking dirt through their home.
