Want to save some money and do a lot of the work yourself and just have them do the actual hooking up to the electricity part for you? Too bad. They are very interested in doing your project until you mention you want to do a lot of the work to save money. They go from enthusiastic to sounding like they want to make an excuse to get off the phone so they don't have to talk to you anymore.

If you are only interested in big or complete projects then say that, but don't make me feel like I'm worthless for wanting to save money.

I witnessed one of your vans purposely cutting off another vehicle almost causing a collision at 8:57 this morning on the highway.. Customer service goes way beyond than just serving customers. There is certain etiquettes that a company must keep at all times. Please inform your drivers. Don't be rude

Drivers run red lights, specifically the Eagle/Overland intersection about 5 minutes ago. Good thing I looked before going. As I have my son in The car with me. Disgustingly selfish and irresponsible behavior.

We have used Tri State Electric for a variety of our businesses needs, beginning with electrical work performed during our tenant improvement, light fixture checks/repairs, grounding checks etc. They are quick to respond and have a worker onsite. The folks at Tri State are outstanding. We Project Manage remotely for very demanding customers and using Tri State takes a lot of the typical challenges away. Josh Mangum is an excellent project manager! Professional and knowledgeable electrician. Worked with Idaho Power to hookup new power to our shop. He explained the process, and kept us informed until the project was completed. Tri State has skilled electricians and I would recommend them for any electrical projects big or small!

I recently spent a month without a dryer, meaning I had the expense of drying my laundry at a laundromat and bringing it home smelling like either the cleaning agent they use on the dryers or something else the nature of which I don't even want to think about. It took repeated visits from dryer warranty repairmen before they figured out the dryer's outlet was only putting out half the required voltage.

My landlord called Tri State on Friday to give them permission to work on the house and arrange the billing details. I heard from Derrick with Tri State by 11:00 Monday, and expected him to schedule a visit for later in the week. I was thrilled when he said he was available then and could be at my house in about 20 minutes if I was free.

When he arrived, Derrick didn't have tunnel vision, intending to fix only the immediate problem that caused my dryer to lose power. He had to make an educated guess as to where the wiring was spliced in the wall as appliances had been moved from their original locations before I moved in. Happily, the first cut Derrick made into my wall uncovered the problem area.

He opened it up and discovered there had been - yikes - an electrical fire that caused the short. His first order of business was to remove anything with fire damage and replace it, but he didn't stop there. He evaluated the wiring and my breaker box and everything in between, and discovered that a handful of circuits in the house were getting more power from the breaker than they could handle, so he throttled the breaker where necessary.

He then took the time to listen to my tales of electrical oddities I've noticed since moving in, and gave me an honest opinion on the level of danger they represent (none), which gave me significant peace of mind.

Derrick was in and out of my house, leaving it as clean as he found it, in just three hours. Overall, Tri State was timely, efficient, and utterly professional. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs electrical work done.

We had an outstanding experience with this company. Our rental property was having multiple problems with baseboard heaters so we called Tri-State who sent out a technician named Derrick Kamper. This is the type of individual you do not have a problem with working in your home when you are not there. He was knowledgeable, professional, and effective in getting our problems solved. I’ve been telling my friends about tri state electrical and how amazing they are. So I figured I’d tell you guys too.

Our grooming salon had half its power go out, but no breakers were tripped. It was really odd, and it meant that we lost power to a many of our necessary appliances. We called out a different electrician who diagnosed the problem correctly but only solved half of it. It happened again in two weeks and we tried calling them but never heard back.

Tri state electric then came recommended from our landlords, and they came over to our establishment within an hour. They found out that actually on of the wires that fed power to the building from Idaho power were actually aging and not feeding enough power to our building.

BUT HERES THE BEST PART.

They knew that we needed this to be fixed so that we could operate properly, but they would have to cut our power and our neighbors power to fix it, and they didn’t want to interrupt our operation, or theirs (who happen to be open 24/7).

They reached out to our landlords and decided to come out at 4 AM so they could do the work without interrupting, and they did it immediately.

Their technician Mason was honest, easy to reach and very communicative. I highly recommend them with out any reservation.

A very special thanks to Todd for his help this morning !! We had a kitchen fire last night and had half the house with no power. He was here promptly at 9 this morning and within minutes had our electrical problems fixed and more importantly; we have heat !!! Thanks Todd !!!

Called in at noon and had a serviceman on site at 4:30. Very professional, knew his stuff, and friendly and polite. Identified that our original contractor had installed faulty wiring and an inadequate breaker, fixed both, and was on his way for a very reasonable cost. Over was up and running in no time. Will use again!

My electricity was out in my separate garage. I attempted resetting breaker switches. That did not help. After calling High Ground Electric, they mentioned resetting GFI on outlets. That was the solution. High Ground helped without having to come.I will certainly remember High Ground next time I need help and will recommend them to my friends and family.

Todd and the high ground team have now bailed us out twice. Both service calls have been on the weekend. We are very grateful for their fast, friendly and knowledgeable service.

I called this electric company after a lot of companies didn’t answer, the owner answered and was in Boise I’m in the North, but he asked me to take pictures of everything, then I couldn’t believe it he just told me what was wrong. I was having one of the worst days of my life and I’m glad I had this nice experience. I asked him what I owed him, he said nothing, it’s their job to help they do it all the time. He just said maybe leave a good comment. Very nice owner and company, it helps so much when things are tough!
