I had an issue with a gfci breaker tripping all of a sudden. Of course it happened at 10:30 pm on a Friday night. I looked up these guys and it said 24 hour service, so i gave them a ring. The gal that answered the phone was friendly and awesome, told me she would have Todd call me right back to help out. Within about 5 minutes, Todd called me back and was able to help me find a bad outdoor plug in that was tripping my gfci in my master bath. I would recommend them to anyone without any question. I will also be using them from now on when i have any issues with my electrical. I offered to compensate him for his time on the phone (about 20 minutes or so) but he refused. Thanks Todd for the awesome service and friendly help on a late Friday night!

Needed help finding out why 2 of my rooms had no power. Couldn’t fix or find the problem myself so called for help. Was told they could could have someone out in a couple days. The next day they called to say they had an opening and was wondering if they could swing by. Took a little bit to find the issue because they had to crawl around in the attic. The electricians were nice and explaining everything to me as they tried to diagnose the problem. The issue was a loose wire nut in the attic from my fathers do it yourself renovation’s. In the end my power was restored. Was expecting an outrageous bill but ended up being a lot less than expected. Would recommend them to anyone needing electrical work done. Thank you!

High Ground Electric did an excellent job of wiring our hot tub in 2020. This week we had a power outage and I could not get the hot tub to turn on. I called High Ground Electric at 8 p.m. and Todd called me back and talked be through what to do! He was a true life saver--excellent customer service!!!

THIS! This is the type of company you want to hire. I called them up on the weekend and an electrician answered the phone. I talked him through the problem. He said, "let me save you some money" and gave me some suggestions for something to try as an easy fix. I tried it and it worked. Obviously, everyone won't have a problem as simple as mine, but I really appreciate any company nowadays that cares enough about the customer to take the time and effort to try to save them a few bucks and teach them to "fish for themselves." While I didn't get any work done with them this time, I've added them to my short list of preferred contractors. I'll definitely be calling them again.

I had an excellent experience with this company. After contacting numerous electricians in town, High Ground was the only one available within the week. Despite the distance, they traveled from Boise to Mountain Home to diagnose and resolve electrical issues in my tiny home on wheels. Initially hesitant due to the unique nature of my dwelling, their exceptional knowledge and ability to troubleshoot left me thoroughly impressed. They successfully solved and fix my electrical issues and the electricity in my tinyhome was working great! I appreciated being able to directly communicate with the electrician over the phone beforehand, and their thoroughness ensured a successful resolution. I wouldn't hesitate to enlist their services again in the future.

Todd was a huge help to me over the phone. I had no power at multiple outlets and he walked me through possible causes via pics and conversations. High Ground Electric responded quickly after a construction crew accidentally cut the power main to our house. They installed a temporary power fix right away to get us through the immediate outage, then offered two solid options for a permanent repair. I was quoted a fair price up front, and the next day two skilled electricians came out and completed the job. The work was done professionally and efficiently. Highly recommend.

I called Todd for help when I was worried I drilled and hit a wire. Even though he had never worked with us before, he stayed on the phone, answered all my questions, and helped me come up with a solution. It was even on a holiday! Today a very professional electrician from High Ground Electric drove through snow clogged traffic to install an electric heater in my house that had burned out. The installation was quick, he checked everything thoroughly before he left. This is the second time I used High Ground Electric. The first time I had some GFI outlets that had to be replaced. The electrician was on time, and professionally replaced the outlets. I highly recommend High Ground Electric for all of your home electrical needs!

Sharing an exceptional service story that occurred on the weekend. I had a circuit breaker I thought was failed. I called several electrician businesses and kept getting a voicemail or an answering service. When I called High Ground Electric, someone answered to discuss the issue and weekend rates. Before having an electrician come to my home, Todd whom I talked to requested pictures of the circuit breaker, panel and the issue. Sent this information and he was able to provide some tips to resolve the issue. This saved me time and money. It is incredible, he was looking out to resolve, if possible, by cell phone to avoid the service call. This is a great business, highly recommend for electrical issues.

I had an emergency power outage yesterday afternoon. Todd was able to assist with my issues in a timely and professional manner.
