I have never needed to call an electrician before and unfortunately tonight was the first. I tried calling some of the other companies and either got no answer at all or they had no one able to come out tonight. Once I called High ground they answered immediately and the level of quality and humanity I received was incredible. If I ever need electrical services again tthey will be my first call. I truly can't thank you enough.

Had an issue with our garage outlets not working. Todd got back to us promptly on the weekend before Christmas and helped us resolve the issue over the phone. Thanks a bunch!

We had a series of outlets mysteriously stop working, with no response from flipping the circuit breaker. Dawn scheduled an electrician for same day service, but in the meantime walked me through a possible way to correct the issue and it worked! Very pleased and would call them again.

We had a 10:00 appointment and after waiting for nearly 20 minutes, I called and they'd forgotten about our appointment. They were flexible and able to get us rescheduled for the afternoon. After 30 minutes, waiting beyond the appointment time for a second time in a day we just cancelled the appointment. Not even a courtesy call from the electrician or the office. I would not recommend this company.

High Ground Electric installed a garage heater, which also required installing a new 240V outlet. The bid for the work was reasonable. They showed up on time and were very professional and personable. They did great work and cleaned up after themselves. Highly recommend.

I have had them to my home 3 different times in the last year. They were professional, did not waste time, cleaned up after themselves and were very polite. The last time I called, Todd solved my problem over the phone. They will be the first I call if I need an electrician again.

High Ground was super responsive and smart with how they helped us trouble shoot our problem, by text, and advised us to call Idaho Power. The problem ended up being an Idaho Power issue so we did not need to have work done on our end. High Ground made us feel cared during our power outage, in the evening. Thank you!!

Yesterday, came home from Christmas vacation to discover our pump was not working! Hence, no water in the house! Sparing all the details that lead me to High Ground, they were here in a matter of hours and Donald got down in the mud to repair some old and "roached" wiring! Aside from being extremely knowledgeable and efficient, Donald was great to work with. We live on rural acreage and I'm a curious homeowner and always wanting to learn WHY something broke and how to fix it. Donald shared much as to the WHY of this mess, and detailed how he was fixing it... That right there means a lot to me...
So, THANKS High Ground!
Besides this review, I shared their info with a good friend who's a plumber, thinking he needs High Ground in his "toolbox" of outsourced techs to call in unusual situations!

Tom is the best electrician I've ever used and I was so impressed with his professionalism and work ethics. I will definitely use High Ground Electric for any future needs and will recommend them at every opportunity. Todd is very lucky to have such a great employee!

Very good experience with company. I wanted to supply particular exhaust fans, and owner was very responsive and helpful thinking through the options to ensure what I bought would work. The two electricians that worked on our project were polite and professional, and the installation's finished appearance was great. Charge for the work was quite reasonable. Highly recommended.

I cannot say enough good things about High Ground. Besides the prompt and excellent repair service I received, my repair person, Dave, was the most courteous, considerate, and efficient repairperson I've encountered in years! Oh, and the cost of what I had done was less than half of the quoted cost I received from another company. IF there were more than 5 stars, I'd give more!!

Literally saved me an afternoon of waiting (on a Saturday) by easily troubleshooting a problem over the phone with me. Most other companies would likely send someone out and double charge you for the pleasure of weekend service but he fixed my issue with a phone call that lasted less than 5 minutes. Will be the first number I call for any other electrical issues.

Through a Google search I chose to call here for advice and possibly request service.
I spoke with Todd, (I believe he's the owner).
He was extremely helpful and I resolved the issue without having anyone come out.(So he did it for free.)
He was kind and I appreciated his honesty in helping. I haven't utilized any technicians yet, and when I do(hopefully I won't need to soon), I will update my review. Thanks, Todd!

Todd is an incredible business owner. He went above and beyond to assist my husband and I with our electricity issues! We were having issues with our outlets dying and he assisted us by determining what we needed to do to identify the broken outlet as well as detailed instructions to fix it from home. I would recommend this electrician to anyone who needed a trustworthy business owner to do honest work.

We had power go out in three rooms in our place. One of them being the laundry room. I have called 10 plus electricians today, all with either no response or someone telling me they are booked out weeks. Todd was graciously able to help me by phone without charging extra to come out to my place. I was back in power in minutes. Todd, the owner was very professional, quick to respond and assist us with our wiring issues same day. I was very impressed on how thorough he was in ensuring our wiring problem was handled safely especially with young kids at home. We had all power cut to the house at 8:00 at night. We were able to talk it through with Todd within 10 minutes and restore power for the night. The following morning the service tech was out to assess the panel and make necessary repairs.

Great service, extremely knowledgeable electrician, and they definitely live up to reputation as a top quality electrical business.

Todd took my phone call on a early Saturday morning. We talked through the issue. He educated me on how and what likely happened. After some pictures and specific questions we fixed the issue.

Just want to say thanks to Todd at High Ground Electric. He has helped me out the last several years on several occasions with our electrical issues and today was no different. Woke up with no water from the well. After an hour the issue was resolved. Nice to be able to count on and depend on someone over the years.

I had scheduled an appointment to have two outlets put into a wall and I scheduled about 4 weeks out.

Not only did they fail to show up on time, but when I called them after their arrival window, they said their guy would call with an updated arrival time. He must've decided to just not show up at all, as they've failed to make any kind of contact since then.

You'd have a better chance at being a satisfied customer at most of their numerous competitors.

Todd is so knowledgeable and was able to help us over the phone. We were out of power at 10:00 pm. We needed sleep and our alarm clocks to get us up in the morning. We needed hot water for showers, the list goes on. You don't realize how dependent you are on electricity until you don't have it anymore. We couldn't imagine trying to sleep in this heat without our air conditioning. Todd was able to walk us through our circuit breaker issues and restored our power in ten minutes. It was operator error on our part, but Todd was pleasant, unhurried, educational, and friendly. What a relief that he was available and willing at 10:00 pm. Thank you so much Todd, we all appreciate what you did for us!
