This is a truly outstanding Plumbing Company in the Boise area. We've had need of their service for a number of jobs this year, and they have provided same-day service with highly skilled and efficient technicians. Highly recommended!
Four months later Drake serviced our Furnace, which was acting 'erratically', to our complete satisfaction.
They consistently meet all our criteria as a dependable and reliable service company, from the front office contact to the job technician!
Drake is also highly recommended for their A/C service, as we had our system completely replaced in Sep-2024 by a very conscientious & hardworking technician to our complete satisfaction!

Drake helped us with the install of a downdraft range. The project is somewhat rare and ended up being more difficult than anticipated. Their phone reps helped with 3 reschedulings and the technicians went above and beyond when the job got difficult along with sticking to the estimated price.

I had Drake replace my 40+ year old toilet. The tech's were on time, clean, friendly and efficient. They also explained what they were doing. I highly recommend Drake mechanical for your plumbing needs.

I can't speak highly enough about Nick Drake and all his staff! They went out of their way to make sure our air conditioner was up and running for the renters. It stopped working again and Nick was right there sending his guys out to fix it. They went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations. Drake Mechanical was out this month for 3 separate repairs / upgrades at my home. John was professional, on-time, and very communicative when finding each issue and explained my options clearly. I did not feel pressured to be home during the repairs, was not continuously contacted for no real reason, nor was I upsold, which are very important to me as a homeowner with a full time job. Being able to trust Drake Mechanical to do what they say and for the price they quoted has made calling them for my plumbing and heating needs a no-brainer!

Bryce was our technician today. He performed a very thorough job on the initial inspection and service needs of our heater and air conditioner. Further, he spent time adjusting settings on the thermostat to optimize performance of this equipment. Great attitude and great work - Drake will be back!

Turns out, Drake was back in November when our family woke up to no heating. Thankfully, Ben was the on call technician. As expected, he did a thorough job of diagnosing the problem, made needed part replacements. Drake's service is superb - highly recommend this company for all heating and cooling needs!

Drake Mechanical is our go to place when things go wrong. Today they were out to do some minor repairs found during our semi annual HVAC system check. In addition we have had them help with toilet replacement/repair, sink installation, furnace filters, etc. The people on the phone and in person are always polite and helpful. I would say that working with Drake mechanical, overall was a very positive experience. Their customer service was very responsive and the contractor working on our job was knowledgeable and thoughtful. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is that some of the workmanship wasn't to the level I was expecting, everything works great, more regarding finished look.

What can I say about a company that goes above and beyond on all fronts! I had a water heater emergency and needed not only fast service but a company that had a quality product. Yes I could have gone to a big box store and bought some made in Mexico junk but Drake set me up with a Bradford White. Wow what a difference . In 20 years in my home I’ve never had hot water like I do now. Absolutely awesome. Thanks Drake Mechanical.

I had been using Drake for a number of years and during the last couple of years my furnace was periodically failing to light. Last year when one of their techs came to look at it he said that the electrical board was not telling him what the error codes were and didn't seem to be too alarmed. He cleaned it and it mostly worked fine for the rest of the season. At the end of December the furnace was still acting up and I wanted them to look at it again because the holidays were a week away. The same tech came and looked at it and said "the red light on the panel isn't on when it should be" and looked at other stuff and decided it was a $600 part that was the most likely cause - not the panel - and installed it. He got it to run and I thought it was fixed. Within 5 days the whole thing completely stopped working. I called for emergency help on a Saturday and was told they had no one available. So I called someone else. They tool a look, saw the same issue with the panel light, pulled the board off and found a big scorch mark. When I finally got a hold of someone at Drake I told them I wanted my money back from the repair they made. They said that because they couldn't come look at the furnace (before I had it replaced) that they couldn't verify anything. It worked for a few days after they left, so they were not responsible. If their tech saw the problem with the panel and then decided to replace something else, and it did end up being the panel, how is that not poor service???? They are supposed to be experts but can't put 2 and 2 together? Or admit when they did a bad job. Oh and I called to complain the day before my new system was supposed to be installed. 1- no one told me that I should have them come look at it to verify what I said 2 - they told me the owner would call me back but I had to wait two weeks and call them again. Her response: "Oh I guess you didn't get my message" right, like my cell phone doesn't have a call log showing me you never called.

This was mainly a consultation about our laundry plumbing. We had a good conversation about the options. In the end I decided not to change anything, and that has worked out OK.
