Not sure who’s managing your Foxtail Estates account these days. Subdivision looks absolutely horrible. I’m guessing owners or upper management should maybe try a drive through neighborhood sometime. You’ll be very disappointed.

Very sad to see a great company go bad because of a few rotten employees that just don’t care !!

We originally had a bad experience with Avalon because of the lead person on the project. This person has left Avalon. There was an issue with a kinked line and Avalon came out and fixed the problem.
Because they were polite, accommodating, and timely with the repair; and the other person is no longer with Avalon, we wholeheartedly would recommend Avalon Landscapes Inc. for any of your landscaping needs. The other employees are very knowledgeable and hardworking.

My home borders a common area in our subdivision. We had a water issue that was explained to me last year that my system was connected to the common area. My irrigation water was not on. I contacted Avalon.
Someone contacted me within a few minutes. A person responded and got my water on. They also advised me that the report given to me last year was not correct. I know that the subdivision is the actual customer of Avalon but, I was so impressed with how they responded to me. The person who responded was courteous and concerned about my issue. This was service at the highest level.

WARNING! STAY AWAY! If youre looking for a review to steer you away, this is it. They came to do a simple mulch job and they costed me THOUSANDS in extra work. Do not trust these kids. They also drove through mine and my neighbors lawn flinging grass and mud at house while ruining the lawn. They did not put weed block under mulch and they got mulch everywhere where in yard where its not suppose to be. They also dumped the old mulch in a parking lot 2 miles away. DON'T WAST YOUR TIME AND MONEY.

Our Brownstone subdivision has never looked so bad under the care of Avalon this year. The common areas are an embarrassment.

At a stop light and there are no brake lights at all (passenger took pic). Truck number 227 I believe. Also the branches were throwing leaves and sticks everywhere since it wasn’t covered.

Was hit by them while one of their guys cut in front of me. I was so shook up and hurting terribly from a bad concussion and severe whiplash. The driver got out of his truck, walked over to my car and instead of asking if I was alright, he laughed at me. He then walked away. He totaled my car and I would steer clear of anyone who treated any individual this way.

What kind of hack job you all doing? My hoa is paying you good money for your services here. Now you've trashed our pool, dumped rocks in both pools, your guy walks in and out not cleaning up. Unacceptable! Having adults and kids walking on rocks or picking them out one by one out of pool.

I reside in Eagle Creek, and it has truly been a remarkable experience observing the impeccable landscaping services provided in our subdivision. The team consistently demonstrates a high level of care and attention to detail, with the supervisor exhibiting exceptional leadership skills.

Our townhome is in a subdivision that hires Avalon for our lawn care. We have lived here 6 years and they have improved immensely. The crew they have had the last 2 years have been wonderful. They actually take their time and seem to care how your yard looks. That was definitely not the case the previous years. Thank you to the new crew, we appreciate you!

    So much to choose from!

I moved from Nampa where the home I was in didn't have a trash bin. I was able to buy one and used it for years. Moved to Meridian and they refused to pick up my trash. I called the office and was told that I had to use their bin. However, the one I had was full, so they said they would send the driver out to empty it. When he got here he wrote a note telling me he would not pick it up because it was not their bin leaving it full again. (DUH) I suppose he wants me to dump it in the street. Where did customer service go. It most certainly is not with this company.

The Meridian transfer station used to be a fast, convenient place to get rid of trash. The slightly higher prices were worth the extra convenience. In the last few months it’s turned into a nightmare. Hour+ wait times, inefficient, and expensive. It’s faster and cheaper for me to just drive the landfill now.

They will over charge you no matter what. If you can go to ada county landfill or timbercreek recycling. They charged me $86 for a truck of leaves

Don’t publically place their pricing any where for the transfer station. If you call and can manage to get the actual site they will help but general line can only tell you what a fridge would cost. Just bring it buy and they will tell you at the gate how much.

Post your pricing- not worth my time to go there just find out it’s going to be cheaper to drive the extra 40 minutes to the dump.

A visit 6 months ago for trash and some wood- 58$. The dump charged 11$.

They flat out refuse to pick up anything outside of the bin, so if you have a large box for recycling, even broken down, they just leave it there. Really do the bare minimum.

Don't go here, skip the middle man and visit the main dump. I recommend just using the Ada County Landfill. This place is overpriced in my opinion. Meridian Transfer Station charges by the yard instead of by weight like they're supposed to or like the Ada County Landfill does. The attendant at the gate just guesses what volume and what kind of garbage you're carrying and charges you based on his opinion. Then to make matter worse all the employees there are just plain unpleasant. They're short with you and will yell at you. Sounds petty but it's just not worth the headache of sitting in a long line at this place, getting over charged, and then dealing with an over crowded facility.

Why do they insist on putting the garbage bins in front of our driveway? After parking in the street and getting my crutches out of my vehicle, was able to move them a few feet back to where they will stay all week till next Tuesday, when I'll have to move them out of the driveway.

I've always had luck coming here. It can get chaotic on Saturdays, so I'd recommend going on weekdays. Staff are usually super friendly, and I've found that price is often negotiable depending on what you are bringing in - esp if it's organic yard waste. I no longer bag leaves. I rake them onto tarps and haul them to the transfer station. Works out great and saves me time and money. Great location! Right off Ten Mile exit.

Arrive at 4:53 pm Saturday (5pm close) and the worker long hair grey dude wouldn’t left me dump the two things I had in my truck. He also made the three people behind me true and leave. He said his phone is linked to the time clock and it was 5pm but gates were still open and he tufted to show me what time it was on his “linked phone to time clock”. Very disappointed how rude he was and very unprofessional.

The people here are always nice and friendly. The lady who often works at the desk/register is always pleasant and happy. She is a great asset. Please acknowledge her for me.
