Hydro-Temp installed 3 geo-thermal units in my in-law's home in 1984. The house is a little over 5000 sq ft and never had a utility bill that exceeded $400. Fast forward 33 years and we had hydro-temp replace all three units based on the efficiency and longevity of the original units. Thank you Hydro-Temp!

WORST INVESTMENT EVER!! Don't WASTE your money! We bought a house with a Hydro-Temp Geo thermal system, already installed. It failed miserably so we made the mistake of having a brand new one installed, plus added new wells and glycol lines to support it. For the 3 years we have had it, It has failed at least once every 5-6 months and has cost us, every time. The warranty is not worth the paper it is written on...trust me on this! We replaced 6 VFD drives, added fans to cool the unit, replaced the PLC unit and many other issues. One of the main issues was that it was extremely LOUD and sounded like a dragon in my house when it started up! Temporary fixes are their answer to every problem, while they wait for the warranty to run out so they can charge you even more. We worked tirelessly with the VP, Parts, Sales, and Service with no resolve. The only "Installer" they have, went out of business and can't be contacted. Bottom line...after the 30,000. we spent to buy the unit and have it installed, we decided to have it torn out and replaced with a much better unit!! We had to PAY another company to come and take it out and replace it with a new and expensive unit because Hydro-Temp was not willing to help in any way!! Please don't waste your money on this company and their products. You'll only be replacing them!

Unit is less then a year old. Unit has worked sporadically from May until August. Still not fixed. They have replaced nearly every component. Tried two different compressors. The dealer does not know what else to try. The dealer has bent over backwards to help us. Dealer has been here at least 20 times and as late as midnight working on it. But hydro temp does not even know what to do. Do NOT buy from this company. A year ago when we researched hydro temp was rated +4 stars. Look where they are today! 2.9. There is a reason

I would prefer not to give a star but I was not given another option. I feel the need to share my experience with hydro temp to hopefully STOP someone from making a very expensive mistake like I did. When my family built our dream home we were told geo thermal was the way to go! 10 years later I can truthfully say it’s the worst decision we have ever made. We have never made it through an entire season without a “service call” . NEVER!!!! (Not even year 1) We have NEVER (NOT ONCE) had hydro temp stand behind their “warranty”. Not in year 1, and certainly not in year 10. The service men are rude, arrogant, and very unpleasant to deal with. I started a file to keep up with what they serviced & always showed the service men their repeated actions and the history of working on the same unit, with the same problems. (Note the bills for their service calls sometimes didn’t make it through the mail before their next “service” was needed) year 9 and THOUSANDS of dollars later we decided to find a different company to help us. We quickly realized that Hydro Temp was not happy to help them and was not friendly about answering any questions they might have. Hydro temp has been a NIGHTMARE and they do NOT stand behind their equipment AT ALL. I wish we would have done more research and chosen a different company. I do believe geo thermal is a great option , I don’t however believe Hydro temp is the company to use! Very unhappy customer

This team was great ! They did a quick and great job. They stuck to the time line I said I had available. I recommend this company!!

My original post looks to have been taken down, so I'll post again. Someone else said it and I agree, how this place is still in business is a mystery to me. We had this system at our old house and it was a miracle to get them to come out and when they finally did, I have never been so disrespected by a service tech in my life. We recently built a new home, and I said I had one condition, that there is no Hydrotemp system in it. One star is definitely a generous rating.

If I was able to give a zero star review I would. Do not make the mistake of giving this company your business. We bought a house that unfortunately has a hydrotemp unit. A part needed replaced after inspection and from initial contact with the company to when the problem was finally resolved took about 3 months and more than 50 phone calls. No one would return calls or give us status updates. Many phone calls had to be made to the VP before anyone would contact us. They were all INCREDIBLY unprofessional! I have never experienced this low level of customer service. How they are still in business is beyond me.

Furnace cleaning helped stop a burning smell that came every morning. Allan cleaned dust off the burners and inside the blower. He explained that dust can ignite slightly and cause odor. After the cleaning, there was no more smell, and the heat was stronger. The winter feels much more comfortable now.

Be aware, they are not professional, skipped one room while I was taking care of my cats, did not clean the dryer's vent but charged me $99 extra. when I contacted them about all problems, for 4 weeks, they promised to come, but have never showed up.

The air duct cleaning I had done last week was a game-changer. Technician Tom showed up with all his gear and walked me through the process. He shared a funny story about finding a kid’s sock stuck in a vent from years ago apparently, it was causing uneven heating! My house feels fresher now, and the airflow is noticeably stronger. Tom was polite and thorough, and I’m super happy with the results. Definitely a worthwhile investment.

Great family owned company that does excellent work

I booked the service because my kids’ rooms always felt dusty no matter how much I cleaned. After the duct cleaning, I noticed the dust settling way less and the air feels lighter. The guys who came out were friendly and explained everything in a way I could understand, which I appreciated. This was honestly one of those home services I should’ve done sooner.

My ducts had never been cleaned before, but they made the process easy and stress-free.

Juan JD & Mike got my project completed ASAP. Considering all the other contractors said they could schedule my project in 3-4 weeks. Juan JD didn’t charge my a crazy price either it was reasonable and fair for the work they completed. He also did a roof report and estimate for my client that was in contract in 24 hrs and only cost me $99

I called Michael HVAC because my HVAC system wasn’t working efficiently, and my energy bill was creeping up. I assumed I needed an expensive repair, but their team quickly diagnosed the issue my ducts were clogged with dust and debris, making my system work twice as hard.
After a thorough cleaning, my system runs smoothly and quietly, and my energy bill has gone down significantly. I’m so grateful they helped me avoid a costly replacement.!!

Absolutely best contractor I have ever worked with. Extremely knowledgeable and fair. Listened to our vision. And if he says to think about what you are requesting then listen. He helped me avoid some costly problems with our design. A side note is that this was an existing workshop with no sewer or plumbing. So now we have a beautiful pool house.

I’ve lived in my home for almost 10 years and never once had the air ducts cleaned, so I figured it was time. The crew showed up prepared, didn’t rush, and took their time making sure every vent was actually cleaned properly. They even pointed out a small issue with one of the connections and fixed it without trying to charge me extra. The best part was how much cleaner the house felt afterward I wasn’t dusting every couple of days like before. Even the air felt cooler and less heavy. It’s one of those things you don’t think about, but once it’s done, you realize how gross your ducts probably were.

My heat started making this faint dusty smell whenever it came on and at first I blamed it on the time of year. But it kept happening, so I finally booked a duct cleaning. The technicians who came were wonderful. They were polite, careful, and took the time to show me everything they were doing. When they showed me the inside of the ducts, I had no idea that much buildup could even be in there. Once they completed the cleaning, the smell was completely gone. The air felt so much cleaner and the house just felt nicer overall. Even the heat seemed to work more efficiently. They did a fantastic job and made the whole process seamless.

Dust continued to accumulate around the registers since cats were shedding all the time. Zachary, the technician, cleaned all of the air ducts, cleansed the vent covers, and removed fur that had become lodged deep inside the trunk line. He also recommended UV light installation since fur tends to trap bacteria inside the system. Pet scents significantly decreased after the UV lamp was installed close to the coils, and the airflow felt cleaner. When the HVAC system is operating, especially when the windows are closed, the house simply feels cleaner.

We had Miguel H today. He was great. To help us out, He went and got a needed part so as not to have to reschedule. He checked out the furnace and has it running great. THANK YOU!!
