Reviews of local pros in Aurora, Illinois

I Hired Handy Hippos for a fairly straightforward modernization project of installing recessed lighting in my living room and was completely blown away.

Not only did the install go well, but they were willing to fix wall imperfections and paint everything too!

The kindness, care and detail of the team along with the generous communication across the project was stupendous.

Additionally there were no "surprise" charges when it came to billing, which tends to be common these days unfortunately.

My living room looks amazing and I'm gearing up for several future projects with the Hippos!

We’ve had a great experience using Handy Hippos. They always come as scheduled. They are clean and knowledgeable. They have a solution for everything that comes up. They mounted all our televisions and done other jobs. They are always willing to help. I would recommend them!

I highly recommend Handy Hippos (Bhavesh) for any electrical work. They provided timely, clean, and professional service, ensuring everything was completed to a high standard. Their attention to detail and clear communication made the process seamless and stress-free. I wouldn’t hesitate to call them again for future projects!

I have had a few projects done by Handy Hippos, and I’m very happy with all of them. They mounted our tv above our fireplace, and added an outlet behind the tv so we didn’t have messy cords. They also lowered a counter bar that was too high to be useful, and tiled our backsplash in the kitchen. They installed a new light fixture and moved the location of the light as well. I will certainly call them in the future!

Handy Hippos has completed many projects big and small in our home as well as our dental office. They are so talented and professional. Every detail is always accounted for. Their work is very high quality and the prices are always reasonable. Communication is exceptional and they are very efficient. I highly recommend Handy Hippos!

Just hand Handy Hippos come and mount a 65” tv in our living room. Great price for their efficiency and cleanliness. Would definitely recommend to others.

Highly recommended! These guys are excellent. Electrical, TV mounting, creative construction projects - call them for whatever you need. See below, we did a creative Bali-themed swing project. They knocked this out late in the evening, with a great attention to detail.

Excellent work by Handy Hippos for bathroom remodeling. Took appropriate time to complete but quality of work was great. Thank you!

We hired Handy Hippos to add recessed lights in the kitchen and living room ended up having them installed in the family room as well. They have done a fantastic job.

Bhavesh and his team of Rafa and Jose did an amazing job. They took care of our home so well, covered up everything before starting to work and cleaned up before they left.
Communication was very clear, no surprise charges. Their cost is very reasonable as well.
Bhavesh listened to our needs and made great suggestions as well. Overall we are extremely satisfied with the team's work. We highly recommend Handy Hippos to anyone looking to get any work done around the house and we are looking forward to working with them again.

Bhavesh and his team did a phenomenal job recreating our family room TV wall. To begin with, they have come on time each day. They would cover all the furniture to protect them from the dust and all. They completed this project in 2 days, including removing the old cabinet, painting wall, electrical connections, and putting the slat wall panels. they are very professional and also their recommendation in tossing the design ideas were very helpful. We are pleased to recommend Handy Hippos services to our friends and families.

Handy Hippos was great! They worked diligently to ensure that my TVs (3) were installed and set to my liking. The owner was such a joy to work with. I had a good feeling about Shah from day. Excellent work and clean up. I’m planning to hire Handy Hippos for a few more jobs.

Bhavesh and his team do a fantastic job with complex TV setups and electrical work. His team have mounted 4 of my TVs and remounted the 77 inch a couple of times to allow for upgrades. The end product ALWAYS looks really great and I would say you can't go wrong with their services. They take pride in their work and never leave until a job is done. I would love to continue to work with them in the future!

EXCELLENT WORK 🔥🔥🔥 Done by the Handy Hippos. They were on schedule easy to deal with and it was like they took the vision we had and brought it to life. Will definitely be using them again in the near future and if anyone else reading this is looking for someone that knows what he and the team are doing I suggest you call them

Bhavesh and his guys did a great job. He put in a new wall mount and TV on our brick wall. He ran new power from inside a cabinet to behind the TV. All work was very well done, and we were very happy with him and his team. Would highly recommend.

Handy Hippos installed our large TV on an extendable bracket today. Our second time using their services. They are professional, efficient and friendly. TV is perfectly level and looks great! Highly recommend Handy Hippos!

Highly recommend Handy Hippos. They were on time and did a great job mounting a large tv on my wall. They were able to provide the necessary cables and also ran them behind the wall so they were hidden. I would call them again for this or other needs!

Handy Hippos did a full renovation of the master bathroom and did a amazing job. All new fixtures, total gut and repair job of a 35 year old bathroom. Great start to completion process, from picking out tiles and fixtures to installing all items.

Asked them to remove old 65" TV from wall and replace it with a new one AND mount the speaker bar on the wall. They were done within 1.5 hours or less. They were efficient and clean throughout the whole process. Would definitely hire again for the other projects for our home. Highly recommended. Thank you again!

This is the second time I’ve used Handy Hippos and I will be using them again! This time they installed lights on the front of my house. They had to run wire with metal conduit in my garage to get them installed and they did a beautiful job! The first time they came out. They mounted a tv for me and it is exactly what I wanted!

I recently had the Handy Hippos remodel our bathroom. From start to finish, they were professional, efficient, and incredibly detail-oriented. The work was completed on time and exceeded my expectations. They took the time to make sure everything was done right, and their attention to detail really showed in the final result. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality work and dependable service!
