Reviews of local pros in Aurora, Illinois

Bhavesh and his guys did great work hanging our big screen tv and floating fireplace/mantles. They are professional and communicate the entire time in what is happening. They also are very good at finding "work arounds" and make sure you are 100% happy. They also do electrical work and they do it the right way so you don't have to worry. Definitely recommend!

Handy Hippo provided truly excellent service on our recent home project. They handled a wide range of complex tasks with outstanding skill and efficiency. From intricate repairs and installations to complete cleanup and disposal was flawless. They are professional, reliable, and exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend Handy Hippo for any and all home improvement projects.

We hired them twice and they did excellent work both times. First was to hang our floating fireplace/mantles and big screen tv. It looks great and we are highly satisfied. The second time was to run some temporary electric cabling and install a couple of outlets in the basement. Again, they gave us great advice and did a wonderful job. I highly recommend Handy Hippos for anyone in need of a professional handyman.

Handy Hippos were awesome team to work with. We had few experienced men come in and work on different projects in my home. They did an incredible job at renewing my fireplace wall, remodeled my complete kitchen, staining my stairs, and installed big crystal chandelier in the two story foyer. I would strongly recommend them for your next project. They work on big or small projects so please give them an opportunity to help with your remodeling. Handy Hippos you are great at what you do!

We worked with Bhavesh and his team for the first time yesterday to get our frame TV mounted, and are already starting our list of projects to work with them again. This line of business can be difficult to receive good communication paired with quality and professional work. Handy Hippos delivered on all of those things. Thank you so much!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND HANDY HIPPOS for your next home renovation! They were amazing to work with, extremely responsive, responsible, friendly, trustworthy and catered to our needs based on our budget, preferences, and timeframes. Also, very flexible, if and when we had some last minute changes or ideas that swayed from initial discussions. They are great at providing recommendations as well. I have attached some before and after pictures to showcase how extremely happy we are with our renovations.

Guys are Great!!!!

Excellent service!!! Highly recommended!!!!

Benache does great work!

The team was great , extremely careful with what was asked. They worked on the bathroom and flooring on the living room ! Couldn’t have asked for a better result !

I scheduled a date and time with Ben for him to give me a painting estimate for my basement. He never showed and never gave an explanation despite my follow-up with him. Apparently he doesn’t view customer service as important.

He is amazing.. extremely cooperative.
Ben and his team worked on my entire house and I am so happy with his work.. highly recommended!!!

We worked with Ben and his team for our remodeling project. We remodeled basically an entire house: kitchen, stained floors, all bathrooms, carpet, added in electrical, and many other small details. I cannot say enough good things about Ben and his team! They did a wonderful job and always checked in with us to make sure we liked what they were about to do before they did it with tile, hanging of fixtures, etc. We added many additional projects along the way, and his team always did it with no problem. Ben and his team worked tirelessly to get our project done and done right. I can honestly say that I will miss them when they finish our project. 100% recommend Benache Remodeling!!

Thank you Ben and team for the exceptional job! We were so impressed with the quality of work, your professionalism, and most importantly for being so patient with us. Excellent service!! We will definitely have Ben and his team back for more projects! Thanks Benache Remodeling!

It has been great working with Ben. He got the job done in no time.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Benache and his team, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the results. They undertook the monumental task of painting both the exterior and interior of my house, along with some essential electrical work, and they exceeded all my expectations.

From the get-go, Benache and his crew demonstrated remarkable professionalism and attention to detail. They meticulously prepared every surface, ensuring a flawless finish that truly transformed the look of my home. The exterior paint job is stunning, with crisp, clean lines and a vibrant color that has already garnered numerous compliments from neighbors.

The interior painting was equally impressive. The team worked efficiently and respectfully, taking great care to protect my furniture and belongings. Each room now looks refreshed and revitalized, with colors that bring out the best in the space.

On top of their exceptional painting skills, Benache's team handled the electrical work with the same level of expertise. They ensured everything was up to code, safe, and functioning perfectly. Their knowledge and precision provided me with peace of mind, knowing that every detail was attended to.

Communication throughout the project was top-notch. Benache kept me informed at every stage, was always available to answer questions, and made sure that my vision was fully realized.

In short, Benache and his team did an outstanding job. Their craftsmanship, dedication, and professionalism are unmatched, and I highly recommend them for any painting or electrical work you may need. They truly went above and beyond, and I am incredibly grateful for their hard work and the beautiful results they delivered.

Ben came in and painted a vaulted ceiling we had in an office that I was too afraid to get on a ladder and paint. It was better than I could have expected. His crew was spotless and even laid down extra painting sheets in my hallways to protect my floors.

He was so easy and responsive to work with we have hired him on for several other household repairs, lighting, and other things we need to have done that we have been avoiding since we bought the house 2 years ago.

We needed several things fixed or updated before selling our townhouse and Ben was great to work with to get everything done on our timeline and within our budget. He provided guidance for decision making when we needed it and was also flexible when we needed to add a project or make a change to get to our final goal of staying within our budget while ensuring our house looked it’s best when we listed it (which it did, and it sold on the first day!) In addition to Ben being there to do a lot of the initial work himself, we had a lot of work done by Daniel who we were extremely happy with; he spent quite a lot of time in our house by the time everything was complete and he was very friendly and respectful, always making sure everything was clean and organized at the end of each day. We were impressed with his painting and drywall work in particular - everything looked fantastic!
We will be hiring Ben again for some updates to the new house!

Ben and his team are incredibly professional, value for money and above all a pleasure to work with. Ben is very professional and takes care of the customers need in proactive manner. He also has good objective suggestions on materials, cabinets, electrical, etc. It was a pleasure working with Ben and I highly recommend their services.
