Reviews of local pros in Aurora, Illinois

That installed stone facing in two days.
The skilled masons did a phenomenal job of matching existing stonework in a very efficient process. I highly recommend them.

We just had a new front porch installed and it is beautiful! Everyone on the crew is so nice, and worked so hard to give us a great result!
Our neighbors have all commented on the great workmanship.

Rolando is a man of his word. All of his employees were very kind. Did a great job and even put our pergola back!

Rolando and his team are very kind people. Organized with the proposal and payment/invoice process. When they show up, they show up ready to work and get things done. We got a concrete patio and they did really well - our patio looks great- they layer the concrete without damaging our grass or removing our fence (which we were so happy about). Communication was a little back and forth but it is summertime and as many contractors are insanely busy they still got it done in time. We are very grateful. Thanks again!

If you want quality work at a fair price, hire these guys. Brayan, my chief contact with the Masponry Doctors, was always prompt in responding to my requests. He, his Dad Jose, and brother Rolando were all on-site working the job of repairing a brick stoop and raising a sunken paver sidewalk. They had excellent attention to detail and were willing to modify things on-the-fly to suit our desires. The real test is how well the work holds up over time, but I'm not losing Brayan's number and I was left with the confidence that if an issue arises, Brayan will address it.

Masonary Doctors added the needed “custom build feel” with a beautiful stone trim to our brand new M/I home. We received so many compliments about the transformation. We plan on using them again!

I was so happy to go with Masonry Doctors, they replaced my cracked concrete garage slab and did a beautiful polyaspartic coat on top in under a week! Will be using them for future projects and would highly recommend to anyone.

Had a concrete step and small patio replaced by Masonry Doctors. Rolando was friendly and knowledgeable from the start. He was able to articulate the plan right away and stick to it, and was able stay on budget. He had the job completely done from start to finish in a single day! I would definitely hire him again.

Terrible client. We transported one load for him, and I had to chase the payment for two weeks, though it was eventually received. After that, he called requesting a rate for another load, agreed to the price, and then disappeared. Later, he called again asking us to find a driver. I informed him that we would proceed only if he was ready to pay upfront, and he agreed. However, once I found a driver and requested the payment, he said the load was not ready, even though he had previously confirmed that everything was ready

Rolando and his team did a great job installing 30 outdoor lights on a cold and blustery day!

Rolando and his guys did awesome job. They know what they’re doing and get it done quick and finished product turned out great. Will definitely recommend them to everyone that’s looking for a new mailbox.

Rolando is a client first business owner. He is great at talking you through the process, giving suggestions, and truly getting to know what the client wants. He absolutely captured what we wanted and really put attention to detail. Also reasonable priced compared to other contractors in the area. So glad my neighbor referred him to me.

Had a great experience with this company. Rolando and his crew installed a custom fireplace and renovated my backyard. Communication was great from start to finish of the project and always had a clean work area which is a big plus since I have young children.

Rolando and his team did a great, professional job on our patio. Prompt, honest and hard working crew. Reasonably priced.

They did my patio in 2020 and it was spectacular! It was a small job but it was truly a wonderful job. I'm about to hire them again to do even more to my yard. The pricing was the best too!

Masonry Doctors team built a paver patio with seating wall, pillars and steps in our backyard few days ago. Roland and team did an excellent job and worked hard to do a quality job and give a beautiful look. They measured everywhere to make it fit perfectly. We enjoy using it. We will hire him again for future jobs and recommend him as well.

Came through as promised. Friendly, efficient and great craftsmanship. Very happy with our fence and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

We loved their work so much on our last house doing stamped and stained concrete, we used them again on our next house. Expert work and reasonable prices - looks way better than regular concrete or pavers. Great crew. They are very professional and know what they are doing - highly recommended, see after and before pictures

Alex and his team are hard working, kind and very knowledgeable. They were on time every day. Our paver patio turned out beautiful. When the job was complete they cleaned the yard, rinsed the patio, etc .. We would highly recommend them. Thanks Alex and Rolando! God bless 🙏

My patio has been fully updated and it looks great! It has taken a while, but Rolando and the team came out multiple times the last two weeks to correct the issues from the original patio install in spring 2021.

On the first visit, they corrected the light color and tried to repair the low spots. When that didn't work well, the team went the extra mile and pulled the entire patio apart, significantly raising it and applying the proper pitch for drainage. I've done some water testing and all seems ok. The first big rains will tell the full story, but it looks like all the fixes should do the job!

I understand that the team is seasonal and gets very busy in the summer, but a warranty is a warranty. While it took far too long - 3.5 years and required too many follow ups to have the immediate issues repaired, everything now seems corrected. Stay on top of them and they will eventually work through any issues.

three stars only due to the timing and hassle needed to correct the issues.

Rolando and his team built a beautiful back patio, steps and firepit for us! They provided us with a competitive price, communicated with us from start to finish, and gave us tips and suggestions to make our space just right! We are so thankful that we found this company to partner with to build our beautiful space!
