I would come home to an 80 degree home - or worse wake up in the middle of the night steaming hot! AC kept going off randomly. Found loose wiring and tried to fix myself. Started sparking - what a mistake! I called Jeff from Alan Heating & Cooling and he came out to assess and fix the unit - right before the next heat wave! Thank you for your kindness and professionalism, and I've already referred Jeff to my neighbors.

He came diagnosed the issue and explained how he was going to replace a part from my furnace. We called Tuesday & someone came out Wednesday. Shawn was amazing. He literally showed us exactly what was wrong & in great detail explained the issue too. He fixed our AC immediately. You can tell he was experienced because right away he knew the problem, fixed it & got it all done in under an hour. Super nice/professional guy. So glad we went with this company. We will continue to use them & I cannot express enough.. if you’re contemplating calling this company.. just do it. The reviews speak for itself. They’re legit & worth every penny!

First HOT day of summer and cooling unit stopped working, called a couple of local places and they were all focused on the initial visit cost. Mike from JDN asked about the system and was able to come out the same day to look at it. The kind of honestly and care he showed is hard to find these days. He looked at the whole system (17 years) old and recommended a replacement. Two days later he and his son showed up and installed the new Trane system and even gave us a new touch screen thermostat. They even cleaned the area and explained the features. They have definitely earned me as a life long customer. Highly recommend them for any HVAC needs.

I have nothing but praise for the service I've received from JDN Heating. In 2018 JDN installed a new Trane furnace and air conditioner in my home. The price was competitive and the work was first rate. I've been very happy with the new equipment especially when compared to the 25 year old unit it replaced. On hot days the old air conditioner would never turn off. Despite running almost constantly the old unit just couldn't keep up and the temperature in the house would creep higher. The new Trane unit cycles normally and has no problem cooling the home evenly. The new Trane furnace is also a major improvement over the unit it replaced. Temperatures throughout the home are more consistent which is a welcome change from the uneven heating we grappled with before the upgrade. Recently (Sep-19) we noticed the a/c was generating excessive amounts of condensation and called JDN for help. Mike and Nathan responded promptly to our call. The source of the problem was difficult to pinpoint but JDN was committed to finding a solution and they did. Though it took a number of hours over several days to put things right we were not charged for parts or labor. Really excellent service. In short we're completely satisfied with the service and equipment JDN has provided. If you're looking for HVAC equipment JDN would be an excellent choice.

I been using JDN since I moved out to the western suburbs from Chicago back in 2008. They have been nothing but great and their service even better. They aren't the cheapest but not the most expensive either. Their prices are fair and workmanship is very professional.

The quality of their service and the thorough explanation they provided was especially appreciated. I would highly recomend them to my neighbors, family and friends. Timely, professional and very knowledgable. They replaced a 16 year old unit with a much more energy efficient new one. Very pleased.

Incredibly old unit started to freeze over, Mike came within hours. Confirmed we needed a new system. Was able to get the old unit up and running for the awfully hot weekend ahead until they were able to replace. Had our new ac and furnace installed by Wednesday. Fast, efficient. These men were kind and explained everything that they did and how to maintain the system amazingly. No one else will ever touch our home for heating and ac.

We have been using JDN Systems for many years. This was the first time I needed to understand our air conditioning units and their corresponding controlers. JDN (Mike and his team) has been to our facility several times, but I have not had the chance to work with him directly. Mike took the time to walk me through the building and explain our 5+ units and the corresponding thermostats. He also took the time to explain to me why our units weren't working and what we need to do to keeping them running properly. As a women, I felt very comfortable with Mike and he respected my questions and helped me understand our facility much better when we were short handed in our office.
I would recommend JDN. The response time was also less than 24 hours during August.

Nathan was the technician that came to my home to repair my furnace. He was on time, polite, and very knowledgeable of his profession. This is my first time using JDN Systems. I will continue to use their company for further repairs, and I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone that is in need of their assistance.

Also, for those of you that do not have an air scrubber on your system, check it out with JDN....I love mine!
