Constraction reviews in Chicago, Illinois

I highly recommend LC concrete. I was having a problem with severe water penetration in my basement causing damage. They sealed my foundation quickly and solved my problem. They are easy to work with responsive and pretty reasonable

I had previously used L.C. Concrete for waterproofing work outside my own home and were impressed with the quality and professionalism of their work. So when my mom started having serious water flooding issues at her house, I didn’t hesitate to reach out to Luis again—and I’m so glad I did.

This time, the job was much more extensive. The work consisted of fully waterproofing her entire basement, digging around the foundation, installing a waterproof membrane, putting in a sump pump system, and then replacing and restoring all the affected concrete. It was a big job, but Luis and his team handled it with skill and dedication from start to finish.

Luis was incredibly thorough. He took the time to walk us through exactly what needed to be done, explained the purpose of each step, and answered all of our questions. That level of transparency gave us a lot of peace of mind. His crew worked tirelessly—often staying late. They didn’t just stick to the original scope either. When we mentioned additional things we wanted, like installing gutters, they took care of those as well without hesitation.

Even though the company name suggests concrete work, L.C. Concrete offers so much more. Luis specializes in waterproofing, drainage solutions, sump pump systems, gutter installation, and more. It’s truly a full-service operation focused on protecting and improving your property. Luis also documented everything with before and after photos. The pricing was very fair for the amount and quality of work involved.

Another thing that really sets Luis apart is how responsive he is. He always replies in a timely manner, which is rare these days, especially compared to many other companies that never even get back to you. That reliability makes all the difference. Luis and his team went above and beyond. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, honest, and highly skilled professionals.

We had new cement stairs put in from our back door. Luis is was extremely knowledgeable and gave me a couple options to choose from. Her worked fast and very well priced! Would use them again!

They came out and got the job done! Very reasonable prices. I am very happy with my backyard!

LC Concrete provides professional work. Very skilled in the craft of the job that needs to be done. LC Concrete provided a service for us and despite some timing issues with other contractors and uncooperative weather, they were able to do an excellent job. I look forward to counting on them for any future projects. I highly recommend them for their services!

LC Concrete removed my old front porch, framed and poured the new one all in one day. The new porch looks awesome! Very happy with their work from start to finish.

LC Concrete did an amazing job! Quickly responded to our request for a quote, scheduled and completed work in 2 days! We are so happy with our new front porch and stairway. The crew were very courteous and professional! Highly recommend this company! Thank you Louis and the LC Concrete team!

Fast and competent work. Great communication.

Skilled contractor, excellent work, and good relationship management with building staff.

Three years later and I’m still paying thousands of dollars to fix the crap job these guys did. DO NOT LET THEM INTO YOUR HOUSE.

Did an amazing job on our fireplace. Would recommend for any tiling needs.

Great experience. Final product was fantastic. Worked quickly with us to address any issues we discovered in the install process.

They sent the right person for the job. Good attention to detail.

Chicago Constructions were very eager to do a good job for my apartment. In fact they did a great job. I highly recommend them.👍

Ilan and his team came in like superheroes to help our construction needs at our condo!! Very professional, very responsive, very respectful!!! We're a customer for life!!

Ilan started work on our remodel fast and finished on time and on budget! Very happy with the work. Excellent job!

Chicago Constructions remodeled my bathroom and kitchen. The finished product looks great. I would be happy to use their services again.

I've worked with Ilan and Avi on a professional level on multiple projects. They have extensive experience and know how to get things done properly, especially when it comes to dealing with construction codes and building inspectors.

Buyer beware! We paid $15K to remodel a small bathroom. Craftsmanship by this company is a 2 on a 5 start scale. The tile and grout was inconsistent and messy (anyone would notice and comment). The shower knob is loose and crooked which is also noticeable because the style of the shower fixture is linear. Their worker left two nicks in a brand new shower floor, AND caused VERY NOTICEABLE damage to a LED lighted mirror, which is the showcase piece of the bathroom. Ian was unprofessional and combative when discussing the completion of our bathroom remodel. He did not take responsibility for his workers' damage and did not at all try to resolve things and leave us happy that we paid $15K for a small bathroom remodel. He left doors/garage open which left our home vulnerable.

We purchased a condo in Lincoln park and we hired Ilan and Avi to from Chicago Constructions. They had to correct all electrical work the original contractor had done incorrectly and all others incorrect work our original contractor and done.
They kept in touch with us throughout the whole process. All the work he did add permits and all the permits were approved the first time they were inspected, unlike our original contractor who failed the permitting process on numerous occasions.
We would highly recommend Ilan and Avi and his company to anyone looking to renovate their Home or condo

I was in a horrible place after my new construction business flooded and drywall, plumbing, flooring and cabinetry had to be removed due to city sewer backup. After working with my landlords, insurance, and the building HOA, I was still on the hook for a significant amount for repairs. Ilan met me the day after I called and got his team started on the project almost immediately. His guys are professional, efficient, and hardworking. You cannot go wrong with this team. I am so grateful with how they helped me during this difficult period. And that I was able to get back to business! I will definitely use them again should the need arise.
