Constraction reviews in Chicago, Illinois

GREAT WORK! GREAT COMPANY!

They do a wonderful job and do quality work. Highly recommend.

These guys are excellent. Water issue at our condo building solved immediately with their work.

They have come back a couple of times to help with some minor issues as well.

Thanks

We filed a compliant with the BBB for Rollin's failure to obtain necessary permits, workmanship failures and lack of professionalism. Please think twice before hiring this contractor - it will not be worth it if there are any uncertainties re: your project and they will say anything to get your job.

We hired Jeff to perform some deck work for our three flat. Jeff quoted us $6K to replace certain posts and railings. One year later, additional work was clearly required because railings were loose and Jeff performed an additional $3K worth of work. At no time to Jeff represent himself as anything other than qualified to perform the work. Turns out he never even got a permit for the work. We were cited by the city for non-compliance shortly after his second round of work. He complied with fixing some of the issues identified. When he met with the inspector to review the work and confirm compliance, he essentially yelled, screamed, stormed off and refused to fix any of the additional work. We are now left with a deck that still needs work, $12K later. Jeff continues not to respond to emails/requests for him to finish his work.

Jeff misrepresented his ability to do deck work according to city law and code. His unprofessionalism in resolving the issue that he created (he should have just said his people didnt do deck work maybe instead of doing a poor job and then getting upset when someone challenged him to do the work properly) was so disappointing.

Do not work with this contractor.

Rollins contracting was hired to seal and provide tuckpointing services for our 3 story concrete block and brick condo building. They were courteous, professional and communicated very well during the process. They even went above and beyond their scope by fixing a few areas in the front of our building and our front step. From what we can tell our building was sealed really well and we will be in touch with them about future projects. Thanks Rollins Contracting!

L.C. Concrete was a great experience! Luis was very knowledgeable about concrete work and answered all my questions. The service was exceptional and the job only took two days to complete. I would definitely recommend Luis and L.C. Concrete to anyone looking for a company with integrity and excellence. Thank you so much! I love my new stairs.

LC Concrete answered phone, set up estimate that afternoon, then sent written estimate next morning (email), I accepted contract. Work was set for following Monday, Luis and crew were on time started my new porch. First day removal and set up forms for next day concrete pour! Second day early and waiting for concrete. Concrete on time stairs poured and finished. Site cleaned up! Very HAPPY with work done by LC Concrete! Nice crew, you will not be disappointed!

I honestly cannot say enough good things about Luis and his team. From the very beginning, they were responsive, eager to work, quick to provide a quote and get started almost immediately—which is rare and so appreciated.

They completed a patio and multiple new pathways for us, including one long, winding path that two other contractors had no idea how to approach. Luis came in with total confidence, and watching him work, it was clear why. He is a true perfectionist. Every detail mattered to him, and he took the time to accommodate all of my requests while also explaining the process so I felt informed and comfortable the entire time.

What really stood out to me, beyond the incredible craftsmanship, was how kind and patient they were with my toddler-aged kids. My children were playing nearby and constantly watching (at times even yelling out the window!), and Luis & his guys were so sweet and respectful toward them the whole time. That level of kindness says a lot about who someone is.

The entire project was completed in about three full days, which was impressive given the size and detail of the work. They even came back the following day to do a very thorough cleanup, carefully placing the sod back piece by piece along the new paths so everything looked seamless.

This wasn’t just someone pouring concrete—this was truly like watching an artist at work. Luis takes pride in what he does, and it shows in every inch of the finished product. His professionalism, efficiency, kindness, and skill are unmatched. I would recommend L.C. Concrete without hesitation to anyone looking for high-quality concrete work.

We highly recommend L.C concrete and his team did an excellent job. They understood our budget and needs,L.C concrete was extremely communicative about scheduling and the process. We appreciated that he accommodated our project for a reasonable price with such a quick turnaround. Our concrete backyard patio slab. looks beautiful..👌

They did a fantastic job on my walkway. Because my house is set back, the walkway is very long. I had it widened from the original, and am very pleased with the result. Very efficient and orderly.
