Constraction reviews in Chicago, Illinois

I used Big City Construction for a brick job for a 12 units building and my point of contact was Miguel. I couldn't have been happier. Their price was almost half of all the other estimates that I received, the crew was amazing and the quality of the work is outstanding. They finished the job fast so I can go along with the roof repair and were carefully to wrap and protect the roof during the rain. Excellent job guys!!!

Big City did an outstanding job on my bathroom! The workmanship is top-notch, attention to detail was excellent, and the whole process was smooth and professional. I couldn’t be happier with the results — highly recommend them!

We had an excellent experience with Big City Construction. Rafael came out to assess the condition of our roof and went above and beyond, even battling with our insurance company to make sure the damage was covered. Once everything was approved, Miguel and his crew arrived and worked like clockwork—his team moved in unison, stayed professional from start to finish, and put our roof back together flawlessly.

Before choosing Big City Construction, I did my research and learned the owner has been in business for nearly 30 years. That experience really shows in the quality of their work and customer care.

Job well done—thank you, Big City Construction!

We had a new roof put on our house and garage (from hail storm) and new gutters and window trim, etc. Big City Construction work crew were very professional, polite, hard working on stripping, shingling our house and garage, installing new gutters, etc. They cleaned up very well when they were done. They did an awesome job.
Thank you Rafael Viquez you did a awesome job in taking care of everything with our home insurance. From start to finish. We didn't have to do anything ourself. Rafael said he would take care of everything and that is just what he did. We would highly recommend Big City Construction and Rafael. Thank you all for your hard work.

Great people to work with!

Javier was awesome!

Top notch company and service. Work with someone who really knows what they're doing and will come in on budget and on schedule.

ENC Construction has met and exceeded our expectations. We look forward to working with Javier and his crew on all future projects!

Great company. They are reliable, timely, and perform quality work that I can count on. The owner is proactive and organized. Projects are completed efficiently and I would definitely recommend.

Hired this company to do some work to my home, i am glad i left hidden cameras around and glad that the properties next door to mine also have Cameras. After watching the footage i was appalled to see how comfortable they were in my House. Drinking beers and eating “POWDERED” Donuts all over my house like a damn Fiesta.
They even left me some of the powder . Last time i use this Company please look else where !!!

I worked closely with Javier Enciso and his wonderful team for four months during the intense planning, design and permit process for a gut renovation/apartment combo in a 125-year old building. I interviewed 5 different GCs for this job and he was far and away the sharpest, most honest, and had off-the-chart references. He was always available (and on time!) with expert advice on practical and design issues. His project managers and plumbers/carpenters/electricians were always on time and helpful, as well. Over the course of the planning process, he was able to save us thousands of dollars by working closely with our architect. His deep knowledge of the construction process, especially with a tricky old building, was invaluable. Additionally, he and his administrative staff worked seamlessly with the bank on our construction loan, returning forms in a matter of hours. I've worked with many GCs over the years as a property owner and manager -- Javier Enciso is the best.

I contracted ENC Construction to do a complete rehab on my home, from completely gutting my home to refurbishing the original hard wood floors and doors, and installing everything to our liking, they did not disappoint. The lead general contractor Javier was always responsive and available to all concerns. Highly recommended their service, great quality and even better results.

We had an excellent opportunity to meet with the contractor. He provided many samples of paint so that we can decide on the exact color we wanted for the exterior of our home. The company was able to get all the work done in a timely manner.
All our neighbors and our family loved the job done.
Our house looks beautiful inside and out!
Excellent work, definitely would get more work done in the future with this professional company.

Having worked with numerous contractors on remodeling projects in the past, I have to say that Javier and his company, is hands down, one of the most professional and knowledgeable teams I have ever encountered. Javier is super responsive and really has gone above and beyond to address many of my concerns, as well as issues with permits/procedures entailed to it, all in a timely fashion. He is also very considerate and not just a company looking to profit in these times. I am delighted to have connected with him and can't wait to recommend his company to everyone I know!

They are doing really great job I’m so happy with their work. Excellent work employees are really nice too.

guy is extremely rude and arrogant i would never do business here!
