Constraction reviews in Chicago, Illinois

We had a very pleasant experience with the installation of our roof, we will recommend Big City to all our friends and family members.

This company is a joke and waste people's time. They try to milk all the money out of the insurance company and refused to do the job in a timely manner also they hire younger people( minors) and people who do not know what they're doing as contractors. You do not need a public adjuster do your own insurance claim and hire your own people from another company this place is a scam

They did a great job on my house. We filed an insurance claim. Everything very smooth and they were very professional. Tony

They did a great job, was there on time , the crew was respectful to my property. I will most definitely be doing business again

I hired Big City to replace my mom's and my sister's roof and everything was perfect. Job was done right with no surprises and was completed on time.

My man Ronnie G is a rock star. Followed through with EVERYTHING I ASKED AND THE CONTRACTOR DID AS WELL VERY PLEASED.Also he went out his way to get medication for a sore tooth. Very nice.

Highly recommend, super quality service for a good price, whole process was a breeze as well.

Terrific company! Had a roof issue, called Big city Construction they sent out someone to look at it, gave me an estimate, fixed the problem quickly, and swiftly, highly recommend, highly professional, very professional people

Great company they keep me in the loop for everything, professional crews.Would recommend using this company.

Don't go to this company. My husband did a concrete job in oak lawn as a subcontractor for Mr Adam back in the spring of 2017. Mr Adam refused to pay and made excuses that damages to lawn had to be repair due to Bobcat while doing job. My husband as professional as he is offer to do it himself. Mr Adam instead went out and about contracting someone to do the job and claiming a high amount for repairs. Once repairs were to be done Mr Adam stated to pay my husband the balance of work that he owe. Till this day MR Adam never pay my husband so far taking a lost. Don't go to this company Adam is a scammer. Now the owner will be at risk to get a lien on his property.

Home Advisor referred me to Big City Construction for a roofing repair estimate. Big City called me to set up an appointment and gave me a 2 hour time frame, 12:00-2:00pm.
NEVER SHOWED, and I was unable to contact them when confirming the appt. after waiting till the last minute. They never answered the phone, WASTED MY TIME, but I guess that's how they do business!

So I give the site HOME ADVISOR A ZERO STAR AND BIG CITY ...WELL good luck, your business integrity is garbage.

Terrific experience from the estimate to completion. I need a new roof. Great communication, work performed as scheduled, professional crew and clean up complete. I would highly recommend using them anytime.

I worked with Big City Construction to help me get a new roof and I am so satisfied with the product.

BigCity construction just perfected my mothers home in Carol Stream. Did an excellent job and all neighbors now are excited to get theirs done as well.. thank you to Raphael for doing an outstanding customer, service and quality control

Adam has been great to work with. No matter the size of the job he gets it done. High quality for a fair price.

Very professional company, good communication with Contractor Rafael, he did great job getting me a new roof through my home insurance . 10 stars ⭐️ for Big City Construction and Thank you Rafael Viquez!

Big City completely replaced our damaged roof. The quality of their work is exceptional; our roof has never looked better. The owner and staff were extremely professional and always courteous. I couldn't be more pleased and appreciative of the impeccable job they did.

Hiring BIG CITY CONSTRUCTION was truly a great experience for me. They have installed new roof, sidings & window covers for my house, the make-over was absolutely stunning which I compelled to write something positive for this company to let them know that they are well appreciated for a job well done. Kudos especially to Raphael Viquez my contact person throughout the renovation, quite responsive and easy to deal with honesty. Thank you Big City Construction for delivering such a beautiful job!

What can I say about Big City Construction other than I am very pleased with all aspects of their home repair and contracting services. I remember well the wind and hailstorm damage that caused us to lean on insurance to repair our home and garage in Oak Forest. We had widespread wind and hail damage on our three roofs and aluminum siding. I was out of work at the time and had time to look for, and compare, the best repair contractors out there. I spent a lot of time doing so. I had contacted six contractors and narrowed the field to select Big City Construction of Chicago. Big City's record and their large city and suburb exposure, and experience was superior to the others. I liked their aggressive approach on insurance claims to aid and help the homeowner. I felt they had an edge over the competition with overall knowledge of both the insurance business and the construction options available to me. My representative, Josh Anton and his team, negotiated with the insurance company to finalize the scope of work and to minimize my costs due to deductibles and construction add-ons. Josh went beyond his time and duties to explain things and I ended up with a fair and respectable price. Big City Constructions workmanship can only be applauded. These were a group of professional and polite roofers, siding professionals, and an aluminum detailing crew that gave my house a new and improved look. I had many neighbors I had compared myself to with their storm repairs. Yeah, Big City did the best of all!!

They resurfaced my porch and did a terrible job. Couldn't tell until it dried. Called several times and they've never attempted to correct the issues just constantly reschedule appointment and no show up.

We had a roof and gutters installed and had a professional experience. My contact person was Ron. He was great to work with in that he was knowledgeable and responsive to each detail. Would highly, recommend requesting him going through the process. The Big City workers were professional and did sound work.
