Constraction reviews in Chicago, Illinois

Phenomenal company, perfect experience from beginning to end, we were truly amazed. I've already recommended them to my in-laws and won't hesitate to recommend them to anyone else who needs a new roof or any other type of construction.

My sister, Lori, had her roof replaced. I intend to use them to replace mine when needed.
Company rep, Adam, was very knowledgeable. Took his time to answer the many questions we had. (And we had many)
Miguel and his crew were exceptional. On time, courteous, showed great attention to detail. Addressed our questions and concerns immediately. Cleaned up all debris, and I mean all.... New gutter installation a week later went just as smooth. I would highly recommend them to anyone who ask.

Big city construction did an awesome job replacing my roof. Once they received the building permit, they completed the roof and the gutters right after. They were always very easy to get ahold of from start to finish.

Nothing but great things to say about this company. Worked with Raphael who was nothing but kind and professional. Amazing costumer service all around. Everything turned out wonderful.

I was dealing with Ronnie on a roof replacement project which got damaged by hail. The initial conversation was straightforward and right to the point. He was very prompt when it came to keeping all the appointments and responded right away when I had a question or concern. As a result of all his work and effort the claim was approved by the insurance company. The installation was done by the professional crew and was completed in 2 days.
Highly recommend!

Big City Construction replaced our 3,600 square foot home roof and 2100 square foot barn roof in August 2022. We are extremely pleased with the customer service, quality craftsmanship, and professionalism we received throughout the entire process. When we contacted Big City Construction, our estimator returned our call the same day and was out to our property shortly afterwards to take measurements. He was extremely easy to work with and provided us with a competitive bid given the height and complicated nature of our roofs - especially on our home. Included in the bid were options for forty verses 50-year shingles as well as fifteen verses 30-pound felt, which allowed us to get the best value for our investment. We really appreciated that level of detail in the bid. And best of all, he answered all our questions throughout the project thoroughly and in a timely manner. The office staff were quick to both email and send hard-copied versions of the proposal contract and later the invoice and payment options. In other words, there were NO surprises. The crew arrived at our property on time each day and worked extremely hard to complete the tear-down, felting, and shingling on both buildings in only five and a half days! They stopped working only to take a 15-minute break at 10:00am and a 30-minute lunch at 12:30pm. The crew was extremely respectful of our property and privacy while onsite, cleaned up at the end of each workday, and conducted themselves professionally during the county inspections. In fact, when the inspector came to do the final after the crew had left, he told me how impressed he was with the quality of the work performed by Big City Construction. Several neighbors have stopped by and commented on the beauty of our new roofs, and we have already recommended Williams Roofing Company to several parties. If I were to give Big City Construction a letter grade, it would be AAA+.

The crew (Raphael, Miguel, Jorge, Vince, Mike and Rich) were professional and courteous and were on site promptly every work day. They paid attention to every detail, making sure the tear off and replacement process went smoothly. Company van tailgating and proceeding with excessive speed on Orchard Rd N, Montgomery, IL 11/5 at 2:45PM. I never understood why people drive company vehicles like their personal vehicles. Bad look for the company.

Rafael had met with me first to view my roof and came out a second time to meet my insurance adjuster.
Rafael had work hard on my behalf with my Insurance company to get my hail damaged roof approved. After getting my roof approve, and picking the color of the shingles, his crew was out within 3 weeks to start.
I was very impressed with his crew, not only were they on time, but very respectful of my property and very professional. They covered all my bushes and lawn with tarps. Clean up was amazing.
After the job was complete, I was hard pressed to find any roofing materials including nails any where on my property.
I am very happy and impressed to have Big City Construction replace my roof. I highly recommend Rafael and his company. May 2024.
