Rafael had met with me first to view my roof and came out a second time to meet my insurance adjuster.
Rafael had work hard on my behalf with my Insurance company to get my hail damaged roof approved. After getting my roof approve, and picking the color of the shingles, his crew was out within 3 weeks to start.
I was very impressed with his crew, not only were they on time, but very respectful of my property and very professional. They covered all my bushes and lawn with tarps. Clean up was amazing.
After the job was complete, I was hard pressed to find any roofing materials including nails any where on my property.
I am very happy and impressed to have Big City Construction replace my roof. I highly recommend Rafael and his company. May 2024.

We had a new roof put on our house and garage (from hail storm) and new gutters and window trim, etc. Big City Construction work crew were very professional, polite, hard working on stripping, shingling our house and garage, installing new gutters, etc. They cleaned up very well when they were done. They did an awesome job.
Thank you Rafael Viquez you did a awesome job in taking care of everything with our home insurance. From start to finish. We didn't have to do anything ourself. Rafael said he would take care of everything and that is just what he did. We would highly recommend Big City Construction and Rafael. Thank you all for your hard work.

Great Construction company

These guys are a total joke. The worked on a place at 1308 N LaSalle that had 31 city code violations. During the construction it was so unsafe that OSHA cited them for inferior and unsafe working conditions.
When OSHA cited you it's $5,000 to the builder and $5,000 to the building owner.
How bad do you have to be for OSHA to show up?
Building rehab was quoted at April through October. Turned out to be the NEXT October. That's right, a 300% over run on time.
It's been about three years no and the metal decking is rusting through.
If you don't believe me look up the violations with the city and OSHA.

Rising development group had there bid in on time and we're able to assist use in making the best choices for our new office building. The expediter was able to get our plans approved early and Meir was able to break ground right away. The project is already 2 months ahead of projections.

Completely ripped me off for the most part, hood was decent shape but dirtier than most I’ve seen. Seemed like decent guys but not as advertised. I bought a hood system with exhaust fan, fire suppression and “make up air”…… hood dirty as hell, exhaust fan too small for the hood, make up air was actually an exhaust fan, fire suppression system was outdated. Never heard back when I asked questions regarding these things.
