Contractor reviews in Chicago, Illinois

Called on a Tuesday at 12, and they were able to turn around and come to the house the same day. They were quick, efficient and did a great job with my jungle of a back yard.

Offered different options for the yard and are coming back next week to power wash and plant flowers. Very happy with the level of service!

I am retired and cannot keep order with my garden, Moritz sent his two young workers. They came next day and finished the job ao i coild avoid the City violation and my backyard looks great

Very responsive and quality landscaping service. Our small condo building was struggling to find a company that would handle a more minor job v. full landscape architecture. Moritz responded very quickly, provided a comprehensive explanation of the work he proposed to improve our yard and garden, sent a crew out within a day, and did excellent work and gave us follow-up care instructions. We were so impressed we had them come back for some maintenance work. Highly recommend!

I recently hired Moritz Welt to tackle a full clean-up of both my front and back yard, and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the start, Moritz was incredibly flexible and easy to work with—he adapted to my planning needs without hesitation and made the entire process feel seamless.
The job itself was no small feat: stubborn weeds, overgrown trees, and a yard that needed serious attention. Moritz handled it all with remarkable efficiency and speed, transforming the space in record time. He also added mulch throughout, which gave everything a clean, polished look and really elevated the curb appeal.
What stood out most was his professionalism and work ethic. He didn’t just get the job done—he went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of. If you're looking for someone reliable, hardworking, and genuinely skilled at what they do, I highly recommend Moritz Welt. Your yard will thank you!

Super responsive. Came by for a last-minute project same day. The crew did good work & communicated well. They were respectful, and went to above and beyond to research what the city had sprayed on my property. They did garden bed cleanup, soil removal, and weeding. I asked them to remove the weeds from the roots, which they did. Some places only use weed wackers.

I was very disappointed with Moritz's landscaping service. The team showed up late, didn’t follow the design we agreed on, and left a mess behind. Plants were poorly placed, and the overall quality was far below expectations. I would not recommend them

Really great work and lovely crew. I ran into a couple of the landscapers because they were fixing up my neighbor's place. Their lawn looks so nicely manicured so I asked for a quote for my place. Moritz got back to me and sent folks out the very next day. They work fast and are friendly and professional. I plan to use them to get some new plants in my garden and fix my grass in the spring, which I'm excited about. I also learned they do snow removal, which I'll definitely use. Moritz has been really easy to work with and easy to reach. Looking forward to working with them more!

Professional, responsive, thorough and friendly. Team Moritz has been taking care of my landscaping for 3 years now.

His team is very busy and in demand. Be flexible and you’ll be happy with the results. I also had Team Moritz refinish and clean up my planters. I am always happy with his team’s work on my property.

I couldn’t be happier with the work done by Landscaping Maintenance by Moritz Welt! They were professional, easy to work with, and most importantly, stayed within my budget. The transformation of my home’s exterior speaks for itself — the before and after photos show the incredible difference in quality and care they put into their work.

If you’re looking for a landscaping company that delivers great results at a fair price, I highly recommend them.

Have always been great to work with and a great finished product.

John is an incredibly hard worker and a perfectionist.
He built a beautiful new front porch and stairs. His price was fantastic compared to other quotes and the job was perfect and on time and budget.
Union Carpenter.

I am extremely pleased with the commercial work DCD did on my office in Chicago. The craftsmanship of the work that John and his team did has given my office the executive look I was going for. With the COVID-19 pandemic my employees feel much safer coming to work! Thank you John and DCD.

The team has unprofessional, aggressive, and disrespectful laborers. Would not recommend or trust with a project.

For excellent customer service and quality building restoration service for your commercial residential building, these are you guys! I'm so impressed with their communication with between residents while working on those repairs in the building!

I don't even know where to start
If you want to know more about this horrible construction company call ELEVARE MD of Hinsdale ill and ask kelly and doctor de wolfe how was the job they did for them

Please avoid working whit chicago communs construction

Great team to work with.

Jack Sitko's company tore down and replaced my front and back porch this summer to correct building violations.
I am very happy with the work they did and the construction passed building inspection. Also, J. Sitko bid was the lowest compared with several other companies and the cost was very important to me.

Entered basic info into HomeAdvisor to get a general project estimate. Received a call from the company and I advised them I am not looking to start a project and was just looking for an estimate on the app. The gentleman who called me on the phone proceeded to say, "So basically you're just wasting our f****** time." I have not used their services to date but based on this experience I never would and would recommend you never do either.

Straight to answering machine and no call back.

Used CCS many times and they have always performed better than expected. Great shop.

De lo mejor en todo
