Electrical reviews in Chicago, Illinois

Excellent company! Knowledgeable, competent, efficient- did a great job re-wiring our 4-car garage. Replaced ancient wiring and fuse box, etc, so that it not only works better but is also safer. Highly recommend Nate and co!

Nate was great and so thoughtful. We had him install electrical for our hot tub. He was creative and helped us identify the least intrusive way to install it from our house electrical box. Would highly recommend him!!

Nate was on time, professional, and took care of my electrical issue in minutes! Very happy with my experience.

Nate worked with us on updating the lighting in our basement renovation project. He brought an artistic creativity, making suggestions on where to place new canless lights and sconces to maximize brightness in the space, and create ambience. Nate also proactively identified areas to address safety concerns.

He was prompt and communicative, and explained his process as he went. Very reasonably priced and a pleasure to work with. We will be recommending him with confidence to family and friends!

Nathan was quick, personable, and very thorough installing an at home car charger. He was honest and upfront on our options and potential installation issues he foresaw. The work was great, he was flexible, and I am very happy. Strongly recommend Kostos Electric and Nathan!

Our experience with Nate was A++. Electrical work is very new to us, Nate took his time explaining every thing in a way that was easy for us to understand.

Our schedules aren’t very flexible, Nate was flexible with us to find a time that worked with our availability.

We appreciate the work so much, Nate.

Thank you!

Nate was incredible to work with from the first time I contacted him. He was very responsive throughout our project and extremely dependable and accommodating. He went above and beyond to help us finish the project (even taking on some of the drywall work my wife and I were supposed to get done). He was great with our barky dog and the chaos that comes with a house with young children and two people who work from home.

Nate also made really good recommendations for our lighting that we ended up implementing with him.

I’d highly recommend Kostos Electric for anyone looking for a reputable, dependable electrician.

Highly recommend Nate and team for their electrical work. They did a great job on some residential electrical upgrades (recessed lighting, ceiling fans, additional outlets) and I’m so happy with the results. Competitive prices and very fast!

I had a very good experience with Nate. He was very responsive—he answered my call right away and arrived at my home within three hours. He quickly diagnosed and resolved the issue- I appreciate his professionalism and prompt service. Recommend ✅

We asked Nate to replace two hallway lights that had been severely messed up by the previous owner. He did a great job and we would be happy to have him back again!

Nowadays, it is so uncommon to have someone show when they say they are going to. Nate was incredibly responsive and punctual. His work hanging our chandelier and ceiling fan was impeccable. His knowledge of Chicago’s electrical code was flawless. I would recommend his company without hesitation.

Nate was very responsive and took care of our electrical projects on a faster timeline than we expected. He was great to work with. Would highly recommend this business!

Nate was an excellent find and I will be using his services again. He arrived on time and ready to work. He informed me of everything he was doing and suggested resolutions to issues he found. He kept the working areas clean and made sure to protect against damages.

Nate was a pleasure to meet and work with. He arrived on time, did the (complicated) job well and was super kind. He even brought us fresh tomatoes and peppers from his garden. If you need an electrician in the Chicagoland area, give him a call!

Would 100% recommend Kostos and Nate for any electrical work you need. He was efficient, great to talk to, and competitive pricing wise. No hesitation to have him out again.

Nate did an awesome job! The work was extremely high-quality, and we are very happy with the end result! Would highly recommend

Nate Kostos was fast, efficient, and knowledgeable. He troubleshoot and repaired a blown circuit and once repaired, installed a ceiling fan. I will call him for all repairs and projects going forward….

Nate helped my condo association do a bunch of projects, including installing GFCI outlets, putting in an emergency light, and installing a grounding rod. He's super easy to work with, very responsive and communicative, and did a great job. Installing the grounding rod wires were complicated due to the layout of our building, and I really appreciated his willingness to troubleshoot different aspects of the project and find alternatives that would be less disruptive to our neighbors. I wouldn't hesitate to call him again if we need electrical work in the future.

We had Kostos out to install some exterior electrical connections for ComEd to hook up to. We found them easy to work with and provided a fair price. And we had no issues when ComEd came to do their work, so Kostos knew what to do.

Nate does good work and is a straight shooter. We wanted to raise where our power main connects to our building. Nate came out and did it in half a day and was up front about pricing - no surprises. Quality work and he did some small fixes for free.

Nathan at Kostos Electric was a pleasure to work with. He was courteous, professional, and took our service request on short notice. We highly recommend them for any electrical work in the greater Chicago area and will definitely be using them again in the future.
