Call here to see if they Carrie 18g wire connectors and they don't but they were very polite and helpful they ask to put me on hold for a few seconds to see if they do got back to me quick and let me know what they did have . I found them to be professional . Thanks again

My go to for several years now for electrical supplies. If you are ordering something that may be out of the ordinary it's best to call first but they will always help you find what you need. Just keep in mind, there usually is a morning rush since this place services a lot of contractors. But if you can avoid that or call the order ahead of time it should be a breeze. Love going here and seeing lots of friendly people. They also offer delivery. And a much better one than home depot.

Change your listing hours of operation because I called thinking at 7:03am this location was opened as it says it is on Google and nobody is answering the phone. They answer and hang up on me. This is a bad look to your business.

They always only have 1 guy working. . . . Everytime I come here for a quick something. . It ends up taking up half my day. . . .Nov 24 2018 . . . Sometimes I think it's better to pay A LITTLE more and go to home Depot 🙄

Fantastic service! We are so glad to have found Idlewood Electric Supply who were able to get us glass lampshades for our master bathroom which had been discontinued at THD and Lowes. Idlewood Electric was able to order directly from the manufacturer for us and they kept me updated on delivery. This was a great experience from a company that truly delivers a customer service. Be careful! I was quoted one price and charged another. Also very expensive. I definitely feel like I was taken advantage of. I will be reporting my experience to the BBB.

We updated our electrical service from 100 amp to 200 amp and replaced the electrical panels, but also added the "Public Meter" to our 2 unit building. He installed new EMT conduit and did the wiring to install new outlets to our home business equipment. He also added new can lights as well as new and extra switches to our basement. Paco, who was our electrical engineer, not only did a great job, but he make sure to always clean up the work area after he was done for the day. I know it was a messy job, electrical wires here and there, but always cleaned them out. He is very informative of the things that will be done for the project. He filed for the proper city of Chicago permits to upgrade our electricity and he was very confident that we were not going to have any inspection problems, which we didn't. ComEd approved the new Public Meter as well as the city. I"m very happy to say that from now on Paco is part of any electrical projects that I may have in the future.

Lo que puedo decir del señor Paco es que es sabe hacer muy bien su trabajo y se ve que le pone pasion en lo que hace. No hay ningun projecto grande o pequeño que no pueda hacer. Si quieren hacer un projecto en su casa, no tengan miedo de contratarlo, el es una persona comfiable y que sabe los codigos de la ciudad. Tambien es muy limpio.
Si quieren contratar a alguien que tenga licensia y que se aprueven sus projectos de electricidad por la Ciudad de Chicago, el es la persona indicada para contratar. El siempre le va a explicar todo lo que va hacer en su casa y tengalo por seguro que su projecto saldra adelante y los resultados le van a gustar. De hoy en adelante es siempre sera parte de mis projectos de electricidad. Gracias señor Paco por guiarnos de la mano y asegurarnos que no tuvieramos ese miedo de involucrar a la Ciudad en nuestro projecto.

Francisco was very attentive and did a great job. Changed the main house panel and re-wired the kitchen. Highly recommended and will definitely be using them again on my next electrical need.
