Eddie Morales Jr was the electrician sent by Mr Mighty Electric. He is fantastic! Very capable and polite. Super honest as well. He identified the problem as minor and quickly fixed it. The day before another electrician had proposed major and expensive repairs to fix the same issue.

Added an outdoor outlet for my backyard gazebo. Professional job , accurate and gave clear communication . Ed Morales was very knowledgeable and trustworthy which are rare traits to have when hiring a skilled worker to do work in your own home.

Came out same day, were able to diagnose the problem, and ordered a new electrical panel for me. Ed the electrician and the customer service reps, were professional and friendly.

(Update) Ed came and installed the new electrical panel. Power has been restored to my AC and kitchen appliances. Great and professional service. Thanks!

This was my 3rd time calling them for work. HUGE mistake !!!! I should have checked the new reviews. That's what happens when you give your 100% trust and don't do new research just because their work was great before BUT never again!!!

Back then they were great, the work got done, we were happy how everything looked at the end and they were right on time!!! They are very expensive but if the work was done right from start to finish, we were willing to save a little more to hire them.

Ask me how it went this 3rd time, TERRIBLE!!!! They gave us a date and time of when they were coming, took the day off to be there and nobody showed up. We called and they said that we were not even on the schedule because they forgot to put it in the system. WOW, TERRIBLE !!! A whole day wasted for NOTHING!!! OUR time is also valuable not just YOURS !!!!

By this time we needed the work done A.S.A.P and we couldn't waste more time, that's the only reason we continued with the plans to have them do the work. They were able to come the next day, things got done and with a few changes but the same price.

Now for the HUGE mistake they did we got 2 "free small drywall" done. Was the drywall done all the way? NOPE, we had to finish the small details!

Advise :

*Do some research and read the reviews.

*If you call them, make sure they have you in the schedule when they give you a specific date that they are going. Call a day before the appointment to remind them.

*Make sure to ask if there's anything that changes, how does it affect the quote, how much more would you pay or how much less. Put it in writing !!! But ask !!! Tell them to give you the different options and how much it would be for each.

*If a worker named Marcelino is doing your work at your house/business, you don't have nothing to worry about him, he is GREAT !!!!! From all the workers that were there both days, Marcelino was the one that was there from start to finish. His work was EXCELLENT !!! He is very professional !!! We give him +5 stars. This company is SUPER LUCKY to have him as a worker. There was another young man but he only went one day and the other 2 for just 3 hours.

Eduardo was a complete professional. On time, polite,complete transparency about what was needed to be done and why.
We will call Mr. Mighty for any other electrical work needed in the future.

Mr.Mighty Electric was amazing!!!

One day, I realized I had a tripped circuit breaker for my bedroom. I googled and looked at the reviews of the electricians around my area. I was pretty skeptical about Mr.Mighty Electrics because some customers complained about them. Though, I needed a electrician to take a look at my circuit breaker asap and they were the highest rated company compared to any other company in the Pilsen area - so I took a chance on them. I am so glad I did.

On the day of the appointment, Mr.Mighty Electronics made sure to let me know what time they were coming and they arrived on time. Eddie Morales, the electrician I worked with, was able to figure out the issue within 2 seconds and explain what happened. He was able to walk me through why this happens and help me understand of what are the next best steps. The resolution was to replace the circuit breaker for my bedroom and they had one already in hand - no need to wait for them to go to a store to grab one. Before he did anything, he was very clear of the price of the replacement. I really appreciated this because I know some companies would work on the issue without giving you a quote at the beginning and then you end up with a big bill that you weren't expecting. Once I was able to agree to the replacement, they were able to replace the circuit breaker super quickly and my bedroom lights / electronics were able to turn back on!

They were swift, efficient, and super kind. If you ever need a electrician to fix your circuit breaker, definitely go to Mr.Mighty Electric!!! I will definitely be going back to them!

After leaving texts and messages with another electrician for a week, only to have him quote me a minimum price of $350 for the work, saying he might have an appointment the following week, I looked around for alternatives.

Mr. Mighty was able to come over the afternoon the day I called, did the work for $250. The electrician, Edgar, was incredibly professional and completed the work in about an hour.

Marcelino was very professional, used shoe covers because of the rain and explained my options. Very detailed, friendly and enthusiastic individual who knows his job! You can tell he takes pride in his work. Kudos to you, Marcelino

They damaged our wood floor with their ladder and completely scratched up the ceiling when installing the chandelier. AND they were very overpriced. Would not recommend. Take your business elsewhere.

Macrelino Moreno Vargas did a very great Job installing brand you led lights for my ceiling.. Also installed pendant lights.. he was very professional and very understanding to my needs when I ask to change a format of design of the lighting layout . Also cleaned up and and disposed old lights that I had .. ask for him to be your tech .. The company was little on the expensive side but they did a great job no complaints here !!

There is a lot I love about Mr Mighty. All of the standard stuff you'd want (prompt, courteous, patient, listen well, go the extra mile), but my favorite thing is how they run their business. Communication is nothing short of excellent. The notification before the visit is sent with a picture of the electrician who will be doing the work. The work is documented with photographs. It's all very professional and smooth. Mr Mighty has been working on my property for at least a decade, maybe longer. They always respond, always show up on time and always do the right thing.

The other day we had Ed stop by for an inspection. He explained what we was seeing and answered our questions patiently. The downside was that they gave us a window of 11-1pm and Ed didn't arrive until 2:30pm, but he did give us an update when he was on his way. We would use Mr. Mighty again, but would adjust our expectations on timing!

I’m extremely disappointed with this service. I had an electrician come out for a loose outlet, a ceiling fan light fixture issue, and installation of an outdoor sconce. The electrician never examined or tested the outlet, never checked the ceiling fan, and simply took photos — no tools, no diagnosis, no actual inspection and I was charged a $79.00 fee for absolutely nothing but his trip out here.

Despite doing nothing hands-on, the quote was nearly $900 — including $588 just for “diagnostic and repair.” Nothing was diagnosed, and the outlet actually works, I tested it again when he left it is just loose and the plug falls out easily. The pricing was extremely inflated and presented as though major electrical work was needed when that was not the case.

This felt like price gouging not real service. I appreciate licensed professionals and fair labor costs, but this was excessive and not transparent. I won’t be using this company again.

Super easy to make the appointment with a very polite receptionist! Eddie came to see us for diagnostic testing, and was incredibly thorough and helpful!

These people were nice, HOWEVER...
They changed the time of my appointment 2 times in less than 24 hours. their communication was TERRIBLE. I book an appointment for a Monday, then they called me to change it day of, but showed up anyway, but at a earlier time. I get that your busy, but just be clear, manage my expectations. Why am i paying you 80$ to show up randomly? NOPE, I don't think so. I hope you read this, because I think yall work hard and mean well. The electrician to his credit was professional, and I could tell the person on the phone was overwhelmed.
