First time, showed up incredibly late, cleaner asked to use my cell phone. Did a horrible job except in the fridge. I expressed dissatisfaction, they send another cleaner back, she did a great job.

I decide to use them again, but this time I request for the second cleaner. They agreed and assured me this was possible. They then switched her out without telling me, and the new cleaner is 2 hours late (they called and said she'd be ten minutes late). She unplugged my fridge / freezer and did not plug it back in, so $100+ dollars worth of food spoiled. I expressed this concern to the company, no response.

EDIT:

The company reached out and offered to compensate me for the food. It seems like the customer service is good when things "go wrong," they just go wrong seemingly often. If I was to use this service again I would strongly ask for a cleaner who would show up on time and who highly rated.

As far as the below response, it seems to insinuate I am not an actual customer, an attempt to throw shade at the legitimacy of this review. I have spoken with the head of operations and customer service, Ross, personally. Users, choose who you want to believe.. It seems this is their standard response for the negative reviews below.

I had been using a cleaning company called Handy for the past couple months, but each time they sent a different cleaner after telling me each time it would be the same. I finally decided to give MyClean a chance. The first clean I had with them went pretty well so I set up recurring service with the same cleaner. Like anything new - it took a couple tries to get it just right, but now Keshia comes every week on Friday and does a FANTASTIC job!

We run multiple businesses from printing and manufacturing to a men's clothing and have always used MyClean for their services. They have always done a great job with our offices at a great price and are very professional. I would highly recommend using MyClean if you are looking for a great quality service.

Great company! After dealing with a couple of sub-par cleaning services, it was hard to trust someone new coming into my home. After talking on the phone i was assured that my experience would be a lot better. I cannot be happier with Myclean! The quality of cleaning was exceptional and they really paid attention to detail. I highly recommend Myclean to everyone!

Had an unfortunate incident where my sink gave way due to too much weight while a cleaning professional was cleaning our place (full sink of water and all stove grates wer too much for the under-mount hooks to support).
After reaching out to customer service I was contacted by the COO and CEO and they swiftly took care of any expenses incurred in order to repair the sink, etc.
Based on my brief experience with MyClean, I'd certainly recommend not only for their excellent cleaning skills but generally good people that run the company from the top.

Scheduled a cleaning over a week ago. Purchased a vacuum to ensure I received a good cleaning because their confirmation e-mail says they do not bring vacuums. My cleaning was scheduled to happen any time between 9am and 4pm. Received a confirmation e-mail the day before to then get a call at 11am that they were not coming. Wasted my time and was unable to get the service I planned for and needed. Highly unprofessional and disappointing.

I scheduled a clean with MyClean after I had Handy come to my house to clean. Right off the bat the customer service at MyClean was 10x better. I actually got responses back RIGHT away via email and when I called actually spoke to someone. The clean was great too. I had a girl named Zoey (sp)?? She said she had been with the company for only 2 months but she cleaned like a seasoned veteran. I will for sure be using them again

Terrible experience. I expected much more from $220/5hr deep clean of an empty 1bd condo. The windows were streaky, floor was sticky, bathroom still had hair on the floor, very poor attempt to clean the tub/toilet and even worse attempt at the stove, granite counter was greasy, vents were not even touched. The only thing done right was the floorboards, window sills and cabinets were wiped down. The refrigerator was ok.

Multiple potential renters viewed the unit after the cleaning from myClean and asked if we were going to clean the unit! We told them MyClean Chicago already did and they were disappointed. I didn’t even bother to ask for any money back or another cleaning as I had to use my time and resources to give the place a real cleaning.

Never again. Over priced for the end result. Don’t waste your money.

I made an appointment with MyClean after my sister raved about her cleaning lady, who she found through their service. The booking process couldn't have been easier- just go to their site, enter your number of bedrooms/bathrooms along with a few other details, and you're set!

Nacole showed up 15 min early on the morning of my appointment and was got straight to work. She brought supplies and asked if there was anything I wanted her to focus on (floors!). I left to go to work, so I'm not sure how long she stayed but when I got back my apartment was SPARKLING and smelled amazing. She even left a checklist with a nice note that went over all the areas she covered. I have a shedding dog and somehow she managed to get all the fur off the bottom section of my couch (which I always notice but never have to patience to take care of).

Thank you, Nacole! I've never used a cleaning lady before but the reasonable prices at MyClean coupled with the quality of work means that I'll definitely be using this service again.

I love the idea that Myclean gives its cleaners a checklist. It’s such a great way to keep on task. I usually clean my own apartment, but with work and a kid it’s not always easy to keep up with every nook and cranny. I’ve forgotten so many of them too! But the MC specialist did an amazing job and checked off every single thing she did. I love MC and will use them again.

This was our first time ever using a cleaning person. We paid $300 plus tip for a deep clean of our apartment. When we got home after 4 hours we couldn’t even tell what had been done. I specifically walked her through the areas that needed the most attention, and they were completely ignored.

We have two toddlers in the house so having a clean home is very important to us. Yvette has been so wonderful in helping us keep a germ free home for the kids. She is always punctual and gets to work like she is cleaning her own home. After our old housekeeper moved away we didn’t find anyone we like until we tried MyClean. It’s miles above other similar services.

MyClean has been the best cleaning service I have had especially because of Lela. I have tried independent companies and various services before settling on MyClean. Their customer service stands above the rest and the quality of clean is by far the best. Lela is so kind and does such a great job. Her attention to detail is unmatched and she is so friendly with our dog which has be wonderful.

MyClean is awesome! The cleaners were on time and very courteous. I have a 4 story town house so I know it was tough going up and down all those stairs, but they did it and had a smile on their face the entire time!

The appointment took longer than I thought it would, but that's okay, because I"m sure my house needed it and I found out that I was their only customer that day, so they probably took their time in being thorough and careful as well.

They use amazing products, Mrs. Meyer, which is one of my favorites, but you have to provide a vacuum and toilet brush/cleaner, which is fine, because I had ample warning that they would not have this on them.

The customer service is great as well! I had made the appointment a few weeks in advance so I got a reminder email which helped jog my memory :) I also got an email from the head of operations after the clean wanting to make sure that everything was to my satisfaction, and to add notes to my profile, in addition to assigning that particular cleaner to my account if I was satisfied (which I was!).

My favorite part is that they folded the toilet paper in all my bathrooms like a hotel and put a cute little "MyClean" sticker on them! I'll definitely be using them again!

Honestly, I read the reviews and didn’t believe all the hype. I’ve had cleaners before and, at best, they were eh. It’s obviously nice that they free me from cleaning, but there is usually something left to be desired. Well, here I am writing a five-star review. MyClean is not 100% perfect, but it lives up to its promises. The bathroom was cleaned, my appliances looked brighter, the beds were made, everything was dusted, rugs vacuumed, etc. I’ve already booked again.

MyClean really came through when no other company would. I moved into a new place on August 1st and I went with a different company and they cancelled last minute. I called MyClean and they were able to send 2 great cleaners. They did such a good job I will most likely use them on a regular basis. Thanks MyClean!

MyClean was referred to me by a friend, and I was absolutely impressed with the service! The scheduling process was efficient and easy, and my apartment has never been cleaner. They definitely paid attention to the details and exceeded my expectations.

I've been working with MyClean for almost five years while I've lived in Chicago, and they are the best! Easy to schedule cleanings, all of the cleaners are super professional and do a great job. I'd highly recommend MyClean to anyone who is looking to have a quality regular cleaning service.

I'm so happy that this Chicago-based company came to NYC! MyClean did an excellent job getting my apartment ready for a new tenant. I lived in my apartment for 7 years before renting it out to a tenant. I kept the place in good condition, but it was time to do a thorough clean once I moved out. The MyClean professional made the bathroom and kitchen look brand new. She vacuumed and swept up cardboard and other particles left behind from the move. I was very pleased with the results and am eagerly waiting for them to move onto other cities so I can use them in South Florida!

I've never written a review on Yelp in my life, but I feel compelled to write about MyClean. MyClean is, BY FAR, the best cleaning service I've had in Chicago and lifted a huge burden off my shoulders:

1.) The quality of cleaning is of a truly high professional standard. I've had two preferred cleaners in the recent past: Lisa and Shantel. Both of them clean with a lot of care an love. They'll go above and beyond what you explicitly ask them to do (Lisa, for example, once unfurled a massive new carpet in my living room without me asking her to do it--moving a very large couch and coffee table by herself). On the occasions that I've had back-up cleaners, they have been very consistent as well.

2.) Exceptional customer service. If your cleaner is late or can't make it, someone from MyClean will email you (yes a human being, not an automated message) to inform you and automatically find a replacement (who is usually also quite good) unless you want to reschedule with your preferred cleaner. They'll also respond with a great deal of understanding when something doesn't go right. There were only two situations with me. First, early in my relationship with MyClean two years ago, I arrived and just didn't feel the cleaner did a good job--they sent me another one the next day (ended up being my preferred cleaner Lisa) for free. Second, a back-up cleaner once forgot to lock my door when she left...I complained about it and they immediately addressed the concern, dealt with it and refunded me. You know good customer service when you see how they respond to things that go wrong.

3.) You can pay online/with a credit card. This might seem silly, but if you're super forgetful like I am, you'll have to scramble out in the freezing cold to find an ATM to pay an independent cleaner. MyClean handles that with a subscription, so you don't have to think about it.

If you're looking for a high quality, professional cleaning service, I really recommend MyClean.
