Got same-day fix, good tech who explained the issue and offered useful maintenance tips afterwards.

Warning: Avoid this contractor at all costs. Extremely dissatisfied customer whose fiancée had a terrible experience with the assigned contractor, describing them as uncaring and extremely rude.

Be wary of services with inflated costs if warranty payouts are insufficient - they can still take advantage.

Thanked Adrian for his visit on Friday. He fixed the issue with my plumbing in just two minutes, impressing me with his expertise. The service was prompt and effective, I'll definitely be using this company going forward.

Adrian delivered excellent work, consistent with past performances, and I'd highly recommend his services from AHS to others.

Adrian showed up on time, knew his stuff, and worked fast - did a fantastic job, would hire again instantly.

The technician was extremely competent and showed great expertise. They identified the issue with our furnace immediately and provided a solution. I'll be using them again in the future.

The technician arrived promptly and was incredibly courteous and knowledgeable. They efficiently identified problems with both my A/C unit and furnace, providing clear explanations of their findings. To my surprise, they also undertook some additional maintenance work on the furnace, beyond what I had requested, at no extra charge.

The heating stopped working in the middle of the night. I reported the issue at 5:30 am and got a call back from Crown at 7:15 am the same day. They sent a team to fix it by 10:00 am, and it was up and running again by 10:45 am. Their service can't be improved upon - excellent job!

Adrian exceeded my expectations - knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely kind. After a terrible experience with another contractor through AHS, this visit more than made up for it, proving the importance of good customer service.

Jhon did an excellent job servicing the furnace.

Extremely dissatisfied with my experience. Hired by AHS and then offered to do extra work outside the original agreement for a hefty fee. The technician arrived briefly, didn't address the issue, was dismissive and rude, and just collected their payment from AHS. Complete waste of money - avoid using them if you have AHS involved, as it's likely part of a scam.

I'd rate this company as the worst possible experience I've ever had with a home services business. We called them through AHS Home Warranty to fix our AC unit, which wasn't cooling our home, on August 27th, 2021. They agreed to send someone out on August 28th. The technician showed up and took readings at the outdoor unit, then looked at the indoor unit, but couldn't inspect the coils because they were frozen.

He asked if the AC had been running recently, and I told him we'd kept it on for a few days due to the heat and humidity outside. He claimed he couldn't diagnose the issue with the frozen coils and suggested we schedule another appointment through AHS. What really got my blood boiling was when I pointed out that his visit felt like a waste of time since he still gets paid regardless of what he finds.

He went on to tell me we should have turned off the AC if we knew it wasn't working properly, which infuriated me even more. The truth is, I'm not an HVAC technician, and I wouldn't have known that in the first place. It's ridiculous that a company like this doesn't instruct customers on what to do before scheduling a service appointment.

When I asked to speak with a supervisor, the technician left to call his manager, who told me the same thing: there was nothing they could do. But when I pressed for a direct conversation with the supervisor, he finally put me through, and that's where things got even worse. The supervisor, Jose Jimenez, kept repeating the same dismissive statement, which only escalated my frustration.

I lost my patience completely when he began yelling at me, so I ended the call and told the technician to leave my home. On his way out, he had the nerve to call me ignorant, which was the final straw. Needless to say, I'm filing a complaint with AHS about this terrible experience and the unprofessional customer service I received.

I went into this experience with little hope, as my furnace failed overnight and my home warranty provider recommended Comfort Temp. However, they far exceeded my expectations. They reached out before regular business hours and dispatched a technician who was courteous and knowledgeable. The part needed for the repair was on hand in their truck. We had our furnace fixed within 10 hours of contacting our warranty company. Their service was outstanding and much appreciated.

I was let down by their service. The contractor sent by AHS claimed to address another problem with my faulty furnace before fixing the main issue, but it turned out to be a waste of time - they spent only 5-10 minutes there and did nothing. He also hinted that he gets paid regardless of whether the work is done or not. To follow up on his offer, I contacted AHS, but they received no request for approval from him. What's more, he suggested paying him $600 if I reached out to him directly.

I left for Chicago in the midst of winter and my furnace shut down, but Adrian from Comfort Temp showed up quickly and took care of it. He kept me updated on the process through my husband, who was very appreciative of the communication. The repair was done efficiently and our furnace is now working properly. After a challenging experience with heating and cooling companies in the past, I'm impressed with Comfort Temp's professionalism and service - they've earned my recommendation.

I had a furnace fail on me and these guys quoted me $4,500 for "duct modification work" upfront. No breakdown or itemized quote was provided, just that's how the contract is written. I checked with other companies and they were baffled by this quote - none of them knew what it meant. In reality, it turned out there was no duct modification needed, just a new furnace unit and labor for installation. The new company came in and did the job without any extra work.

This company is extremely unresponsive - multiple attempts to contact them yielded only a blank screen with no voicemail or automated message, just silence. The lack of professionalism is staggering and warrants zero trust from potential customers.

Terrible experience with this company - they botched my furnace installation. They left my humidifier sitting on top of the new furnace, causing water leaks. The shut-off valve for the water heater was also installed next to a live electrical outlet, which is a safety hazard. I called them and got no answer, so I had to hire an emergency service to fix the gas leak and the other two leaks that they left behind. They also failed to resolve the humidifier issue on the initial visit, forcing me to replace it myself.

Comfort Temp Heating & Cooling is by far the top-notch HVAC service provider in Chicagoland. They offer exceptional, old-school service where technicians explain everything clearly and respectfully, putting customers at ease. Unlike other companies, they don't rush through repairs and talk down to you - instead, they take the time to address your concerns directly. Their team is honest, professional, and genuinely caring. Bernice in scheduling is a standout, and Jesus is an outstanding technician who exceeds expectations. Overall, we're thoroughly impressed with their service, professionalism, and commitment to customer satisfaction.
