Installed a whole-house humidifier and mini-split system, which exceeded my expectations as a DIY-savvy homeowner. The installation was efficient and neatly managed, allowing me to integrate it seamlessly with my existing setup. Professional service - they arrived on schedule and left the site tidy.

I bought my home at the end of 2023 - it's been a wild ride since then. Aircor installed both the boiler and air handler in 2023, which was confirmed by old stickers on the units I found when I moved in. Fast forward to May 2025, my AC suddenly stopped working (it had worked fine the year before), and I reached out to Javier at Aircor for help.

He claimed there was no record of the installation at my address, despite the stickers, but said he'd send someone over if parts might be covered under warranty. He made it clear that labor wouldn't be free, though. During our conversation, he mentioned that the previous owner - a commercial real estate company - might have registered the installation under a different address.

To be honest, I was pretty skeptical about Aircor's commitment to their work after that call. So when my AC stopped working again, I hired another contractor to diagnose the issue. They found out that the blower motor in my two-year-old Trane air handler was shot and needed replacing. The new contractor ordered the part from a local supplier, but we still didn't have AC as our baby's due date loomed closer.

We finally got the motor in May, just before our son arrived, but by then it was too late to get anything out of warranty. The supplier told me they wouldn't release the motor without paying $2,400 upfront - or getting Trane to verify it was a warranty issue and getting their money back if so. Needless to say, I wasn't thrilled about that option.

I ended up contacting Javier again because we still had no AC on hot days ahead. He became pretty defensive, claiming I hadn't followed the proper steps after paying for a diagnostic visit. I was frustrated - my wife was pregnant and our newborn son needed AC too - so I left a scathing review on Google.

Javier quickly responded publicly, citing some policy about warranty transfer that supposedly lets installers charge diagnostics fees and labor. But what really got me was how fast he changed his story and tried to shift the blame onto me for not paying him extra money. It's clear he didn't want to work with me to fix the problem.

In the end, I managed to get the motor fixed under warranty without paying anything - it ended up costing Aircor around $450 (which was way cheaper than what the supplier quoted). But Javier's response had already soured my experience. It made me realize that sometimes contractors prioritize their own interests over helping customers in need.

Since then, I've hired a different contractor who fixed the installation and consolidated both systems onto one thermostat. That's saved us money and hassle. I spent $450 on service calls and equipment myself, endured some sleepless nights with our newborn baby, and gained a new perspective on how contractors often put themselves first.

Hands down, AirCor is the go-to for HVAC services in Chicago. They're incredibly responsive and willing to fit their schedule around yours with prices that are hard to find elsewhere in the city. We needed a new heating and AC unit ASAP, and they got it done within 24 hours.

What really impressed us was when we had our A/C unit on the roof - three stories up with no direct access. They said 'no problem' and used their own equipment to bring it down safely, installing the new one without any issues.

Don't bother looking elsewhere; AirCor delivers. We'll definitely be using them for all future maintenance needs.

AirCor did a top-notch job replacing one of our furnaces, removing two outside AC units, and installing a new furnace and heat pumps. The entire project took 5 days to complete, with just 4 actual workdays due to snow on the fifth day. Their efficiency was impressive, especially considering they added humidifiers and media air cleaners at no extra cost. I received 4 estimates for this job, and AirCor's quote was the second lowest while still being the most thorough. They made some adjustments to our soffits to fit the new linesets, patching, painting, and cleaning up afterwards without leaving any visible signs of their work - it's hard to tell they were even there except for the new hardware. The finished product is incredibly neat, and I'm extremely satisfied with the service.

Exceptional service provided by a highly skilled team led by Javier. He and his crew saved us from a disastrous situation just before the temperature plummeted. Javier's expertise instills complete confidence in his workmanship. This is not the first time Javier has delivered on his promises - we're lucky to have him as our go-to professional. If I ever need assistance again, I won't hesitate to reach out; Javier and his team have proven themselves to be reliable and trustworthy.

I recently needed urgent heating repair on a bitterly cold night and Aircor responded promptly to fix my malfunctioning furnace. Their customer service was impressive, calling me back within hours of the initial report. The technician arrived right on schedule, was considerate of my time, and provided clear explanations about pricing upfront. Javier did an excellent job diagnosing and repairing the issue, even improving the performance of our furnace. I'm extremely satisfied with this experience and would wholeheartedly recommend Aircor to anyone in need of reliable heating services.

Terrible experience. Huge holes were left open, and no protective covering was applied. There was a mess everywhere due to lack of cleanup during the drilling process. The workers seemed completely clueless.

Had to repeat my issue twice before being ignored - frustrating experience with lack of follow-up or resolution.

They delivered the right parts to fix my furnace, which were reasonably priced. The employee who helped me was incredibly kind and assistance. Their service earned them a strong recommendation from me – I'd trust them again without hesitation.

I've had a string of expensive problems with my AC units and furnaces, and now I'm dealing with another issue that required relocation of a return vent from the ceiling to the floor due to poor installation work. The end result is that I've wasted over $20k on these issues - I won't be using this company again.

I wouldn't hire this company again. They're completely unprofessional, consistently failing to honor their appointment commitments. I missed work twice due to them blowing off our meetings, and when I spoke to the representative, he was obnoxious and unacceptable in his demeanor.

The repairman showed up late, more than two hours after I was expecting him, without calling first. He came in, took photos of the issues, and then quoted me a price of around $550 for the repairs. He said he'd need to call his supervisor before proceeding. I wasn't thrilled with the estimate, but agreed to let him do the job anyway. When he left to get supplies, he was back 45 minutes later with a bag of stuff. It took him two and a half hours to finish the work.

After it was done, I asked about payment and got told he'd have to call his supervisor again. He came back and said the final cost would be $750 – $200 more than the original quote. When I pressed for an explanation, he shrugged and said "I just do what I'm told." Needless to say, I won't be recommending Navarro's heating and cooling to anyone. Be careful, folks – they might take you for a ride.

Avoid this company at all costs. They're untrustworthy and dishonest. After a week of dodging, they finally showed up to fix our water heater. We thought it was done, but two hours later, it failed again. I'd already paid them for the repair, thinking it was fixed. When I reported the issue, they just took my money and disappeared - no further communication whatsoever. They ripped us off of $600 and left us without hot water for over a week before we went with another company. Navarro's business practices are thoroughly unprofessional.

My experience with Navarro Heating & Air has been a stark contrast to what I initially thought. They did an excellent job installing my central air unit about 5 years ago and provided great service at the time. However, their performance has since been subpar.

When I needed my AC serviced for the year, they told me they were booked up but could fit me in the following afternoon. I waited, expecting a call, but none came. When I called again to check on the status, I was informed that technicians were running behind and would still visit, which never happened. It was a no-show.

Despite my initial disappointment, I gave them another chance when I phoned in the morning. The representative claimed she would have a technician call me, but I waited for hours and received no call. When I called again, I was told she would follow up later that day, only to be let down once more.

I've come to realize that if a company doesn't respect your time or simply admit they can't make it, there are better options available.
