When I called to book the appointment, the staff member was friendly and provided all the necessary details, including their 4-hour scheduling window. I asked her to note that I'd like a 30-minute heads up before they arrived, which she agreed to do.

On the day of the appointment, I received a text message letting me know the technician was on his way. Twenty minutes later, Chris arrived at my doorstep. Fortunately, I wasn't running any errands and was home to receive him. Despite this minor inconvenience, it seemed unreasonable that they expected customers to wait 4 hours for their arrival with such short notice.

However, Chris was pleasant and professional during the service, answering all my questions as he worked on the furnace. The entire process took around 45-50 minutes. After I printed out my receipt, I reviewed the list of items that were supposed to be checked and noticed a few discrepancies – notably, the heat exchanger inspection using a camera was missing, along with cleaning the secondary heat exchanger.

I called Chris to clarify why this was the case, and he explained that he'd used an alternative method (manometer) for the inspection. To my surprise, he offered to return and do the camera inspection. In retrospect, it would have been helpful if he'd mentioned this during the service call initially.
