Reviews of local pros in Chicago, Illinois

I highly recommend Jose's Tree Service. I hired them to have a large tree removed from my backyard. Their work is professional, fast and clean. They have very fair prices. I will be using them in the future if I ever need any tree services.

They came out within one day. very reasonable price.
they came on time finished a large job quickly and efficiently. they removed a tree so large and the stump. and trimmed other trees. they left absolutely NO mess. i couldnt believe it. I would definitely recommend them to everyone. they clearly know how to run a business.

Removal of a large Ponderosa Pine in a tight spot. Skillfully done will no damage. Completely cleaned up afterwards. Recommended

These guys are great! I talked to Jose yesterday, they had a cancelation, less than 24 Hours later my tree is gone. The stump was in a tricky spot, so they removed the piece of fence and didn’t damage the sidewalk that it was growing under. Price was good. All the guys where professional. They cleaned up everything. Except for the tree being gone you wouldn’t even know they had been there. Much better than the mess The Electric Company leaves when they have just trimmed it in the past.

Jose and his crew trimmed 2 trees and hauled away a bunch of down limbs from the big storm a couple of weeks ago. One of the 2 trees is a very large oak. Jose was the first person to respond after the storm, provided an estimate right away, and showed up exactly when he said he would on the day they did the work. The work was done extremely well, with a lot of care in terms of determining exactly which branches to trim, and they guys didn't leave one leaf or twig behind when they cleaned up. I would hire Jose again in a second and wholeheartedly recommend him!

Very impressed with Jose, and his crew. Super fast response and came on site for a quote. Price was very fair, and they performed the work as promised. Great work, cleaned up when done, and everyone was very friendly. Would use again, and refer to friends!

We had part of a tree come down during a big storm recently. Every place we called was going to take forever to take the tree down but he came out to give a quote and was able to get it out next day. He also gave the best quote. I would use Jose again if I need another tree out. Highly recommend.

They quickly removed a large, old and rotting Catalpa tree in my back yard. Jose had a large crew that did an excellent, professional job. Plus, the price was great, considering all the work they did. I would highly recommend calling Jose for any tree removal or trimming.

Don’t think twice about using these guys. Reasonable prices and they know what they are doing…experts! Also very kind, responsive and efficient. They took great care to ensure they brought trimmed branches down safely so as not to damage the cars parked on the street.

If you are looking for a tree service, these are the guys. They were not only on-time, they showed up 15 mins early to the job. They were quick, and efficient without sacrificing quality work. Since their trucks were blocking the alley the garbage truck could not get through, they guys helped bring the trash cans to the garbage truck, not only mine, but all the affected neighbors too! Cleaned up the job site after and we were very satisfied. Great company and fairly priced!

It’s not every day the average homeowner seeks out a tree removal service. Jose’s Tree Service was extremely responsive from the initial inquiry to the prompt arrival and completion of the job. After consulting with a friend who is in landscaping, the quote I received was very reasonable. I want to personally thank Jose and his team for making this a positive and effortless experience and I will recommend this company to friends and family for any type of tree removal service at a very fair and reasonable price. Tremendous value and quality work!!!

Jose’s Tree Service removed a huge tree in my back yard that was very close to the house. They were very professional, had great expertise and were very courteous. The price was completely reasonable and fair compared to other quotes. I highly recommend them and found Jose to be honest, capable and reliable.

Jose's tree service was great. They came in and cut down a 50+ foot tree in a tight area in our backyard. They chopped it down, cleaned up and were out in a little over an hour. Left the property looking like it was before they arrived. They left larger logs for us to use as firewood and even made a chair out of the stump (our requests). When I told people the cost, it was so good they didn't believe me. I highly recommend Jose's Tree Service.

Jose and his crew just finished up at our house and we couldn't be more pleased with their work. Highly recommend for them for tree removal. They are professional and a great value.

Definitely my "go to guy" for any tree service needs! Jose and his friendly crew got the job of trimming both a huge pine and gigantic maple, that had started to impact the power and other lines to the house, done quickly, professionally, and as quoted. Jose was very communicative, his team left the yard in better condition than when they got there, and most of all, he was reasonably priced! If you've been shell shocked by the gouging of the other guys, call Jose's Tree Service - not only will you get the job done right, but you won't go broke in the process! Extremely satisfied!!

If you want the job done right then call Jose. They just finished cutting down a tree by the alley that was growing over my garage and powerlines and trimmed the tree that was in my backyard that was growing on top of my neighbors house. They were AWESOME and very professional. Jose was recommended by my sister and I'm glad I called. They do GREAT work and my yard looks amazing. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to my friends and family.

We just had a very large oak trimmed and a smaller fruit tree that had grown into some cable & phone wires. Jose's crew arrived on time, actually a few minutes early! The were professional, courteous and cleaned up meticulously when they were done. Even more impressive, when they were leaving, the lead trimmer actually thanks me for my business! I can't remember the last time a company actually did that! They are truly the best!

Many thanks to Jose and his team who did an excellent job of trimming, pruning and shaping 12 Arborvitae trees in my yard. I couldn't believe the amount of dead branches they carefully removed. The trees look healthy and beautiful now. They arrived on time, did a great job of cleaning up and were very reasonably priced. Will definitely use this company again and highly recommend!! I am not a traditional reviewer so I’ll make this simple. Jose and his crew were amazing. Don’t bother calling someone else cause you won’t find a better crew. His prices are beyond fair for the job that he does. I hate to spend money but I wish I had more trees just so I could use these guys. Just an all around great company and Jose is just the nicest person you could deal with. After you use him you will know exactly what I’m talking about. Thank you again Jose and crew.

These guys did a great job. Jose came out within a few days to give me an estimate, which seemed very reasonable. They came out the following week to remove multiple trees and stumps, as well as some trimming. Job was done on time, efficiently and carefully so as not to damage anything. Jose stuck to his original estimate. Overall great experience. Highly recommend.

This is the second time I have used Jose and his crew, and they are awesome! First, Jose came out and gave me a very fair estimate.
He and a large crew then came to trim several trees, including removing a large branch over some power lines. Great work by a very professional crew!
