Reviews of local pros in Chicago, Illinois

This crew is truly wonderful. They are prompt, friendly, and thorough. I recently bought a new home and have a large river birch in the yard that needed trimming desperately as it hung over the neighbors homes and garages. They trimmed everything up and back to reduce my risk of damage and cleaned up all areas beautifully. Can’t recommend them enough. Pricing was fantastic. Can’t be beat.

Called on a Thursday afternoon at 2pm and delivered a face cord a fresh firewood just after 4pm the same day! Thank you, thank you 🙏🏼

We just moved to a new house and two large 30'+ trees were damaging our siding and roof, making it easy for critters to get into our attic. After collecting several quotes, Jose's was extremely competitive. Other tree removal services tried to scare us away from selecting companies with low quotes, but Jose's team did a great job. They were efficient and did a great job cleaning up after they were done. We also had them do stump removals for both trees. Jose's recommendation for the stump removal also matched the recommendation of the arborist at Gethsemane who provided some advice as we are hoping to plant new trees in the spring. I highly recommend Jose and his team!

Jose and his team were friendly and reliable. They did a great job at a fair price.

Jose gave a fair price, and he and his crew did a great job taking down my magnolia, which had been planted way too close to the house. They ground the stump, cleaned everything up, and left me a few segments of the trunk for the fire pit. Great work.

I’ve had Jose’s team out twice to trim branches and each time they’ve done a great job. Highly recommend!

Great communication. Jose went to the property and gave me a quote and then we scheduled the job. His guys were prompt and knowledgeable and Jose was there to supervise. Competitively priced and good at their job. What’s not to 5-star approve

Jose and his crew cleared a rotting palm tree in our backyard. They guys are on time and very professional. Would hire them again for sure.

Jose's Tree Service was an excellent company to work with. They came out quickly to provide a quote which was very reasonable and then scheduled the work quickly. They were professional while on site and did a great job cleaning up after the work was completed. I would hire them again to remove a tree.

Fast and efficient, they came the same day and cleaned up almost all of it, then returned a couple days later for the heavy stuff. Would definitely recommend.

Jose's Tree Service did a great job! They came out fast, gave me a on the spot quote and scheduled it. They took down a giant tree in our yard in 1 day and left it better than it was before. They had to remove part of the fence and move things in the yard out of the way. They brought the right equipment and enough workers to get it done fast. I was so impressed by the workers too, they were really nice and very respectful of our property. We had a tough alley to maneuver and they had no problem doing it. I would highly recommend them for any of your tree needs.

Jose and his team are the best out there. Responded same day on a holiday weekend to our request and came immediately out to give an estimate. Their prices were the most reasonable as well. The returned promptly to perform their work, removing a large tree from a difficult location, including the underground trunk. They also had to remove a large section of our fence to do this, and carefully and expertly replaced it back when they were complete. They cleaned up afterwards, removing all pieces of wood, branches and leaves. They were so meticulous that there was nothing left behind. They were efficient, respectful of our property, extremely knowledgeable and very kind. We have already planned to have them return to perform additional work around the home. We are so grateful to have found this company! Thank you!

Jose's Tree Service came out to do a job. Have to say they did an amazing job and reasonable price. Definitely recommend them. He went above and beyond to make sure he did not inconvenience the next door neighbor. He picked up all the debris and the made sure the entire area was clean.

He was very professional. I will highly recommend his services.

Jose and his group of guys did an amazing job! They were not only cost effective but did the job in a timely manner and cleaned up after themselves. Highly recommend them for any job!

Used Jose Tree service, felt they were very professional. Did not have to be there to supervise. Very attentive to what we needed for insurance purposes. Would recommend as well as use the service again. Very pleased with the price and quality of work done.
Thank you Jose Tree Service. Appreciate your ability to get the job done fast.

Jose and his team helped me remove two big branches from a huge tree over my garage. The team is very professional and finish the job in two hours without the help of crane. So impressed by their service, highly recommended.

Jose’s tree service exceeded my expectations. The crew arrived early and very well ready to work and worked safely, efficiently in a teamwork effort. I highly recommend them. I added before and after pictures. Awesome!!!

Jose and his team showed up on time and ready to work. After getting several estimates to have a large tree in my backyard trimmed down, I found Jose not only reasonably priced but responsive to my inquiries for an estimate and questions I had. The team removed many limbs, high and low and practiced good safety precautions. Safety for themselves, low wires, and my property as well as my neighbors. I plan to have my tree removed in the Spring. Jose will be who Icall.
And when the job was finished I could not believe the attention to detail to assure everything was cleaned up nicely. Jose is your best choice for your tree or landscaping needs!!

Jose and his crew were amazing. Showed up on time and got right to it. They were mindful of wires, worked safe with all PPE, and kept the area clean when they left.

They went above and beyond with stump and root removal, I paid for the service but I didn't expect they would clear it out so well, and I didn't have to request it.

These guys are real pros. I can't recommend them enough!

We needed our backyard tree trimmed and a limb cut because of electrical wires and neighbors. We asked and proposed what we needed and they gave us a fantastic, unbeatable price compared to others. They arrived 2 days later with many workers to tackle and climb the job in little time. Highly Recommending Jose's Tree Service !!!

I hired Jose to remove two trees that were growing dangerously into wires. The crew was prompt, careful, and did a great job cleaning up after - even removing the slack from a cable line that dipped too low. The work was so good and affordable that I had him come back out to trim the pear tree pictured. I think he did an excellent job of taking all the dead and overgrowth out while leaving the tree looking great. Hire Jose.
