Reviews of local pros in DeKalb, Illinois

Great experience using this company. Responded quickly during the process of getting our yard levelled and wood put around an area for our pool. Came out same day we called for free estimate and offered to do the work the next afternoon and got all the supplies they needed. Wood 4x4’s, professional cloth to put under sand, screws and glued the wood frame together notching the wood together instead of just laying the pieces next end to end. Done in 4 hrs 14x24’ space. Courteous every time we spoke and texted. Professional every step of the way and sure knew what they were doing!

I was very impressed with Gamez Lawn Service and Landscaping. I had a major project with new drainage and sidewalk and everyone associated with Gamez went above and beyond. As others here have noted, they are very detailed oriented and provide excellent service. Highly recommend!!!

GAMEZ LANDSCAPERS went above and beyond for us! I will not hire anyone but them in the future! I highly recommend them!

Gaspar and his crew were great to work with! Our yard looks absolutely beautiful and the attention to detail is outstanding. They took their time, making sure each and every detail was perfect and the end product shows it! Great company, friendly people and outstanding work.

Absolutely outstanding service and response. The team went above and beyond, delivering even more than I requested. Truly exceptional work!

I love how my new deck came out

They did a great job with my kitchen remodel and new flooring!

Did an amazing job with my deck and siding. I ended up needing both replaced and he gave me a great deal.

I love spending time outdoors, so I wanted a deck that felt like an extension of my yard. Jake helped me design something that blends in with the nature around my home, and the result is stunning. Now I’ve got a beautiful, durable deck where I can enjoy the outdoors all year round.

As someone with a busy work schedule, I appreciated how easy Jake made the whole process. He was flexible with scheduling and got the job done quickly. The new deck is perfect for unwinding after a long day. If you’re looking for quality work with minimal hassle, Jake’s your guy.

I’m big on eco-friendly solutions, and Jake from Solid Contact Construction was happy to work with me on finding sustainable materials for my deck. The end result is gorgeous, and I feel good knowing that it was built with the environment in mind. Great experience!

Bought a fixer-upper that had a crumbling deck. Solid Contact Construction came in and made it brand new. Jake’s team worked fast and was super professional. Now the deck is the best part of the house! I’m already planning to hire them again for more renovations.

Jake and his company were great! Reinforced our deck for us and redid all the flooring boards and some other needed work. Made our deck much more safe and looking way better! Price was very fair and Jake was honest and did exactly what he said. He even gave a Veteran discount. Being new to the area it was nice to find another business in the area with skill and integrity. Thank you!

Jake and his team at Solid Contact Construction did an amazing job replacing our old, sagging deck. With two small kids, we needed something safe and sturdy, and the new deck they built is rock solid. The quality of their work is outstanding, and they completed the project on time and within budget. The crew was professional, kept our yard clean, and worked around our family’s schedule. Now, we have a beautiful, firm deck that we can trust for family gatherings. If you’re in need of a reliable deck contractor in St. Charles, Illinois, we highly recommend Solid Contact Construction!

We had Jake & his team update our home. We had new base trim, shoe, flooring, doors, toilets, door casings, door trim and paint all ceilings and walls. From the beginning, Jake was very upfront and easy to work with. From material lists, suggestions and workmanship. Already have Jake on the books for a Window installation this spring! HIGHLY RECCOMEND!!!
