Beautiful location to walk peacefully around and buy trees and flowers. Paul was great to work with on a tree warranty. We go back every week just to destress.

Absolutely fantastic full-service Garden Center! All the staff are super knowledgeable about plants and the care for plants. We had a design meeting with Thom and it really helped us get our project organized. Alex near the fountain in stone area was very helpful as we picked out a fountain to compliment our landscape design. They have beautiful items for home and garden decor as well as indoor and outdoor living all around the indoor garden area. The plans we selected were super healthy and totally worth the price because the plants were mature and ready to fill out our garden design.

We got a tree from Lurvey. The experience was great the person at the store was very knowledgeable and helpful. She explained to us all we needed to know about the Green Giant and how the installation process worked. Then we got contacted within 2 days to schedule a visit from the landscape company to review the site and if we had to contact the utilities in order to ensure safe planting of the tree. The landscape company promised an install for the week after, and contacted me via text 1 day before to confirm. Everything went smoothly, and I would recommend.

I’m happy to have Lurvey nearby. I mostly buy native plants there. They have a good selection of plants from Natural Garden Natives out in St. Charles. Natural Garden Natives grows local ecotypes, which I prefer as they are more adapted to our black clay soil and weather conditions.
Lurvey has some really high end items that are fun to look at. Their prices on smaller plants and vegetables are comparable to the big box stores, but the plants are healthier. Their rewards program is good too.
I also like how you can pick your own pieces of limestone from the pile. I’ve used them for step-stone paths around our yard. -
My favorite place.
They have the prettiest and most unique planters and decor, as well as some nice indoor and outdoor plants. If you're a plant lover, it's a must-go-to. -
We purchased our first ever Noble Fir for Christmas and we are very pleased with the freshness of it. It’s a beauty.

I visited the store the weekend after Thanksgiving to buy greens for pots. I was terribly disappointed in the lack of inventory of some items, the general poor quality of the greens I wanted to purchase, and the significant increase in pricing for those items - at least 30% higher. Sorry, I don’t think tariffs are the cause. But, I had 5 star credits and I bought some items at the much higher prices and lower quality, not knowing if I could buy them elsewhere.
On my way home, I stopped at Pesche’s and found the same items, much better quality and much lower prices. Because I wanted better quality for my pots and family members’ pots, I bought more. Lesson learned, check Pesche’s first. -
The only place I can find healthy pond plants for my garden pond. I love having my little koi pond even though racoons think it's a free buffet. Lurvey's always has plenty of water hyacinth to replace what my back yard brats eat. They have an extensive variety of other garden plants, decor and many helpful and knowledgeable people to assist in whatever dream you have for your yard.

Above and beyond!
I love to shop at Lurvey❤️❤️❤️
They have everything you want for your garden; flowers, plants, soils, rocks, pots, outdoor furnitures, etc. Furthermore, their staffs are very helpful and knowledgeable. They can help you find flowers and plants you want. They can explain how to take care each flowers and they also can recommend good plant that suit your needs.
All seasonal flowers are available both annual and perennial. Literally any flowers you want they have them all.
I like to buy my plants and flowers here. The price might be a little higher than other places but I’m confident that I get good and healthy flowers. I noticed that the roots are much more healthier than other places. It’s good for replanting in your garden.
I highly recommend to apply to be royalty member. You will get update emails about all the promotions and tips how to take care your plants. I always get discounts here and there when I shop there. -
I've lived in the area for 25 years and finally made a trip into Lurveys. I'm no expert in the category of lawn, garden and landscape, but I think a bulk of the plants were of reasonable price.
Now everything else here was almost humorously costly. My brother and I felt like kids playing "how expensive do you think this is?" with numerous things.
Anyways, there's a very large greenhouse and outdoor plant set up and the entire plant nursery is a nice walk.
We didn't buy anything as we just wanted to look around, but there were at least a dozen workers walking around if we needed assistance.
For me, I want to be able to have a garden and grow fruits, vegetables, and flowers in the future, and learning some things today was a nice first step towards that. -
First things first, this place is beautiful and very clean. They have a good selection of common house plants and succulents. I was able to find what I was looking for, which was a trellis for my Manjula and Epipremnum Albo. Each trellis was almost $30 with tax. Which is outrageous. But I really enjoy taking care of my plants and I thought the trellis was perfect. If you’re looking for “rare” tropicals you’re better off looking online. Overall a really great shop.

We purchased six Blue Spruce shrubs and two trees 20 years ago. They are still absolutely beautiful and have had no issues. Grew just like we were informed they would

The parking situation is quite unfortunate. Very small parking lot, very crowded and zero spots available. I circled around but it’s very hard to navigate because multiple cars just park to the side waiting for spots to open. Never got the chance to go in.. now I’ll go elsewhere.

Lurvey in Niles is an amazing place for anyone who loves plants, gardening, or landscaping. The selection is huge — from healthy flowers and shrubs to decorative stones and garden supplies — everything is top-notch. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to help you find exactly what you need or offer great advice. The grounds are beautiful and well-kept, making every visit a pleasure. It’s my go-to spot for anything garden-related. Highly recommend!
