Constraction reviews in Downers Grove, Illinois

We had Concept Construction redo our laundry room/office, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! From start to finish, they were professional, responsive, and easy to work with. They listened to our ideas, offered creative suggestions, and kept us updated throughout the whole process.

Highly recommend if your looking for a smooth and very well done renovation experience!

I recently received a quote from Concept Construction and was impressed by their professionalism, clear communication, and timely response. Paul took time to understand the scope of the project, provided a detailed, transparent estimate. While we haven’t begun the work yet, their approach so far has been reassuring I look forward to working with Concept Construction.

Concept Construction installed tile flooring throughout our entire basement, and the results are immaculate. Their precision, attention to detail, and willingness to go the extra mile truly set them apart. Everyone we worked with was professional, courteous, and eager to answer all our questions. Any future home projects we have will definitely be done with Concept Construction.

I’m so pleased with our new bathroom done by Concept Construction. Ben & Paul had great suggestions & recommended places to shop for quality products. They are very professional & responded quick to any questions. They have an awesome crew who worked hard at getting everything the way we wanted. I Highly recommend them!

Concept Construction did an AMAZING remodel on my master bath. Paul responded immediately to my inquiry, coming onsite taking measurements, explaining the process, recommended vendors he trusted to ensure my remodel was affordable, would supply quality material, and ensure a timely process. Paul went above and beyond communicating with my HOA/management company for me, explaining the work I was having done and submitted Concept Construction, LLC license, directly to my HOA/management company. Throughout the project Paul kept in constant communication letting me know who/what service would be coming, and the work I could expect to be done by end of day. On several occasions I sought out Paul and Ben's professional opinion on which material I should use, design, etc. Paul and Ben brought an even more exceptional vision to my bathroom, than I could have done myself, suggesting I add a bench to my shower.

Concept Construction hires professional, detail oriented, clean, and ethical workers. They arrived on time to work, abided by the rules set forth by my HOA, were respectful of the other tenants in my building when it came to noise, occupying the elevator, and ensuring that public spaces were cleared and cleaned at the end of each business day. I cannot say enough good things about Concept Construction, Paul, Ben, and all of their employees! I have already created a "to-do" list of my next projects for them! :)-

The Entire Concept Construction Team did a fantastic job on our Bathroom remodel !! We could NOT be happier! The sheer details at every area they touched was beyond belief! They made sure everything was finished per our expectations and would use them again in a heartbeat! Quality work at its finest!! Thanks to the entire Concept Construction Team!! We LOVE our new Bathroom!!

Concept Construction enlarged my garage and added a room on to my house. Paul and his crew was wonderful and they did a beautiful job, far exceeding my expectations. They are the best!

We had a phenomenal experience with Concept Construction (Ben, Paul and Carlos) for our bathroom remodel. We had discovered a leak under our toliet and needed to replace the floor in our master bathroom and decided to do a full renovation. When I reached out, Ben was very responsive, did a walk through and provided a quote for the remodel. He was able make adjustments per our requests (adding electrical for a new mirror, stone shower pan) and we were able to provide a lot of the materials/reuse item which kept our costs down.
Once the work started, the team worked long hours, kept the house as tidy as possible considering the work effort and overall, did a fantastic job. I would absolutely recommend using Concept Construction for your next project and we look forward to using them again in the future for remodeling needs.

Concept Construction remodeled our master bathroom. They came out to give a free estimate and broke down the cost of everything in detail. Ben and Paul were very professional and quick to respond to any questions or issues throughout the whole process. They did an AMAZING job and our bathroom turned out better than we could have imagined! Highly recommend!

Concept did a great job on our bathroom! The tile work in particular was absolutely immaculate and they fixed several issues that we pointed out to make sure we were happy. A lot of other companies we reached out to were unwilling to do work in an apartment building downtown so we really appreciated them taking the job, and they did a great job following all the rules of our HOA!

Concept Construction did an excellent job on our bathroom renovation and we are thrilled with the results! Ben walked us through the decisions to be made upfront and provided design advice when asked - Paul was great to work with and also readily answered any questions we had. Both were responsive, efficient, and minimized the disruption to our house - they were an absolute pleasure to work with. 5 stars from us and we look forward to the next project!

Vito and his team were awesome to work with and fast! They made quick work of some spot repairs for storm damage on my roof. Great quality and honest interactions all the way through from the repairer to Vito.

We recently had our roof replaced and couldn’t be happier with the experience. Justin was very communicative throughout the entire process, keeping us updated and answering all of our questions. His crew did an amazing job—professional, efficient, and detail-oriented. The work was done beautifully, and everything turned out great. Highly recommend!

We trusted Ben and Paul with a full kitchen and front room remodel. They were prompt, communicative, and always available for questions. You can tell they’re motivated to get the work done (and done right). Big shout out to David too who was integral in coordinating various subcontractors. I’m obsessed with the results!

We're so happy with all the work the Concept Construction team has done for us!! We came to them with a pretty wide-ranging list - our crumbling driveway needed to be completely redone, our rotting deck replaced with a stone patio, our siding refaced, our kitchen updated, and our wood floors restrained - and they were able to do it all! Other contractors made me feel like my projects weren't worth their time (most not even bothering to reply to my requests for a consultation), but from the first consultation to the end of our projects, both Ben and Paul have been great to work with. They're very responsive and respectful, and the teams they brought in were incredibly hard working. We're planning to work with them on future projects and would definitely recommend them to others!

Concept Construction does amazing work! I could not be happier with my kitchen remodel. Renovations can be stressful, but Paul went above and beyond to answer all my questions, keep me updated, and make the process as smooth as possible. He was incredibly communicative and quick to respond throughout the entire project, which gave me so much peace of mind. It’s clear he truly cares about his clients and takes pride in his work. He made sure everything was completed to my expectations and the end result is absolutely beautiful! Highly recommend!

We’re so happy we went with Concept Construction for our huge exterior renovation. They rebuilt our front porch, replaced the front door, replaced the roof, removed stucco, added siding, and did new gutters, soffits and fascia. Ben is awesome to work with. From the beginning he was patient, communicative and always available to answer questions. They did an amazing job and paid attention to every detail small and big, and did a thorough job of cleaning things up at the end to make sure we were happy with the final product. When we hit a couple of bumps in the road, we appreciated how they kept added costs down. Not only did they do great work, but they are also just really good people. This project took several weeks and we always felt comfortable having them in and out of our home. Thanks Ben and the rest of the team!

Paul and the whole team were excellent from start to finish. Communication was proactive and timely, craft was excellent, timelines were met, and everyone was helpful throughout. In an era when I’ve been ghosted by handymen I was so glad to find Paul and team for drywall repairs and patching foundation cracks. Highly recommend!

We had Concept Construction inspect our roof and they found hail damage after a past storm. Justin assisted us all the way through with our insurance. This was not a walk in the park for them. Multiple visits and structure tests were required to complete the claim. The claim was approved after providing the insurance company local codes and proving non availability of the existing shingles. They completed the work very quickly with a large crew. The wife was happy that they used boards to cover the areas with flowers. Now she is very happy with the completed roof! Thanks again Justin and crew for the assistance. Would use again.

We are so happy with the work Concept Construction did on our bathroom! They were efficient, communicative, and eager to do a great job. David does amazing wood work -- he did our board and batten in the bathroom as well as on a wall in our master bedroom and it looks wonderful. I could tell throughout the entire process that Ben wanted us to be happy with the work and wanted to ensure it was done right and done the way we wanted it. We would (and have) recommend Concept Construction to anyone local who is looking to do a project!

We hired Ben Cesaretti and Concept Construction for a full gut kitchen remodel, and overall, we were extremely pleased with the quality of their work. This was a major renovation, and the craftsmanship, attention to detail, and installation was flawless from start to finish.

There were multiple delays with the cabinets; however, it’s important to note that Concept Construction did not order the cabinets—we purchased them on our own. Despite those delays being outside of their control, Ben and the team was extremely flexible and worked with us to keep the project moving as smoothly as possible once the cabinets arrived.

Communication was good, the job site was kept clean, and the finished kitchen looks great. We appreciate their professionalism especially Gio and the adaptability during a challenging remodel and would recommend Concept Construction to anyone considering a major kitchen renovation.
