HVAC reviews in Elgin, Illinois

Cesar and Jose were amazing. They did a complete kitchen remodel for me that included a wall removal, added electrical outlets, moving of a gas line, new plumbing and cabinet installation. They are jacks of all trades, plumbing, electricity and carpentry. I was beyond pleased with their work. Cesar is very transparent and easy to talk to. He gives very well informed suggestions regarding the original ideas you may have on your project. Each day they worked diligently and left the work site very clean and organized. They communicate each step of the project and keep you involved each step of the way. I was very glad to have contracted Total HVAC Repair. I would and have referred them to friends and family. I look forward to using their services for future projects in my home.

If your in need of a HVAC Service I really recommend Total HVAC. Our A/C was down it was 9pm when we called them and they came as promised early in the morning. They were very professional fast and there prices are reasonable. You won’t be disappointed there not like other companies that rip you off with parts you don’t need. Will definitely be using there service again. Thank you Jose and Cesar!! Keep up the great customer service. Your work speaks for itself.

Total HVAC Repair Inc Cesar and techs were very polite & professional. They responded promptly to our call and provided great service. The techs explain everything in detail and are able to answer any questions. I would recommend them to any other household.

They came out and helped with my AC issue over the summer - AMAZING group and very trustworthy. A few days ago my heater went out - i sent him a text and he responded the same day , no questions asked. I will never go to another company again , as Cesar and his company are the best and I’m so happy i found them . They are awesome and always stand by their word. Keep up the amazing work- you have a customer for life ! Thank you

I Definitely recommend!!!!! Cesar really knows what he’s doing. Handful of new items were installed!

Thank you Ceaser, amazing service. Came out since AC was not blowing cool air. We own a children's hair salon. He order the part and fixed it the next day. Cool air once again and nice work. Very clean and responsive. We will use Total HVAC REPAIR INC. and recommend. Prices Very reasonable.

It isn’t an overstatement to say this company saved our lives. Cesar is one of the most professional and qualified people who helped us with a gas leak. He was always cooperative, a good communicator, punctual, and very attentive. Thank you to Cesar and his team for all of his help!!

Cesar was very helpful in finding a motor for my very old furnace. He was diligent about getting the original part so there would be no issues soon after replacing it. I appreciate his diligence and expertise. I will use them in the future for all my HVAC needs. Great job!

Cesar was awesome. I called him at 5:30pm to service the furnace, which was no longer providing heat for my tenant. He was still working a job when I called, but to my amazement, he said he could come out afterwards. Totally took care of me after hours and was actually FAIR with his pricing. You could tell he is a hard worker and is committed to taking care of his customers. Will be using this gentlemen for all my HVAC needs going forward. Thanks Cesar and Total HVAC Repair!

Great service and response time. He did a great educating us on the needs of our HVAC system. -when he recharged our system.

Then, when we needed a new evaporator coil. He told us our line out to your condenser was bad. He lied. We had the lines retested, and they were fine.

We went with the other company, it didn't make sense to replace the lines in our condo. Our association, would have ended up fining us.

Cesar was great to work with. He is very knowledgeable about boilers and was able to help me understand and answer any questions I had. He replaced my boiler and also installed a Relay Multi Zone Valve Control that was never installed. Very friendly, knowledgeable and responsibly priced. He will be servicing my home from now on. Highly recommend!

My furnace started running intermittently during the recent cold blast. I called Total HVAC Repair on a Friday afternoon and they were able to come out and get my furnace running reliably that afternoon even though it wasn't the easiest repair, which of course was a great relief. I agree with the other reviews here, my experience was prompt, efficient, friendly service. I will be happy to use their services again and would recommend.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Cesar from Total HVAC Repair, and I couldn't be more impressed. Cesar was not only knowledgeable and skilled but also incredibly fair and helpful. He went above and beyond to ensure my mom’s HVAC system was working efficiently, and his pricing was transparent and fair. I highly recommend Cesar and Total HVAC Repair for anyone in need of HVAC services. I already asked him to help my aunt repair hers! Thank you, Cesar, for the exceptional service!

Great work and customer service. Cesar came to my house and did a good job. The prices for his work are very reasonable.

Very professional, friendly, and helpful. Did a wonderful job installing furnace and AC when it was super hot outside. He was quick installing. Would highly recommend!

Ceaser and Jose came to my place to replaced my old water raditaor to a new furnance. New ducts were added thoughtout the basement, 1st floor, and attic and I couldn't be any happier. They also installed a smart theromstat, so now I have total control of my heat. Good peace of mind knowing that he offers a 10 year warranty on all the parts of the furnance. Highly recommend Ceaser !!

My A/C was stop working few days ago. There is no cold air come out from vent. I called TOTAL HVAC REPAIR INC and talked to CESAR. He is a very nice owner. He came to my house to find the problem with my A/C systerm. Cesar checked out everything within few minutes and found that the capacitor has burned. And he replaced it then turned the system on again. The cold air just started blowing again. Cesar checked the system pressure to make sure freon is no leaking. I’m so happy for the quick and nice service.

I had a great experience with total HVAC repair. They are very professional and proved me with great affordable service. The job was completed in an efficient and timely manner. I had the entire furnace replaced and new ac install. Would recommend to anyone who needs repair or hvac install services. Ceser the owner made the entire process smooth unlike other contractors who give nothing but headaches and runaround. Would do business again and I do highly recommend them. 10/10 service. 👍

Total HVAC has been out to my house a few different times. First to add some Freon to my AC unit, second to fix a sensor on my Furnace & clean the furnace and also install an Ecobee thermostat for me. Cesar and Jose are two of the nicest, most genuine honest guys! Great to work with. They were here quickly and worked efficiently to get the job done. Additionally, they are very fair with their prices. Highly recommend them in the Chicagoland area for all of your HVAC needs! Ceser is the owner and he runs a very professional business! They will now be the sole company I call for anything HVAC!

Update on 2/25: Cesar and Jose came out to install a new RunTru by Trane Furnace for me! (pictures below). It's a 2-stage units and runs AMAZING! My old Carrier furnace gave out after only 4 years (Carrier is terrible by the way....) and I could only go with a Trane manufactured product! They are the best and I would only have the best company install for me! They also cleaned my ductwork and made sure everything was perfect before leaving the job. Cesar - another great job well done! You are wonderful to work with! Thank you so much!!!

Mark did a great job, was very thorough and explained all details of his findings.

Mark was not only great and efficient at his job, but a super nice guy too! All my experiences with Tempco have been great.
