Had a $200.00 water bill this month. Called the village who told me a leak started on November 13. Fix the leak, then pay the bill.
Paul Alexander was in and out within 2 hours. He established there was indeed a leak, repaired, replaced and basically saved Christmas for us this year!

Highly recommend! Prices are comparable to other companies. When shopping around, I noticed very many had photo shoots, and pretty boy adds. To me, they looked afraid to get dirty. Let's face it, plumbing is a filthy mess.
I chose this company based on their add showing "Real, honest and hardworking" people. That's who I want working for me! Not "image" people who put on a front.

I had a one-time slight backup in my utility sink, so I had Alexander Plumbing come to my house today to rod out the main from the house to the street and to remove the "corroded on" front hose from the spigot or replace spigot. Paul was able to remove the hose, avoiding the cost of replacing the spigot. Then Patrick and Paul ran some tests to check the main drain and all aspects of the running water within the house. Patrick showed me a video of the clean-out drain outside, showing smooth running water. He explained what probably caused the slight backup in the utility sink and didn't feel any rodding work was needed. They were both at the house about 1/2 hour, diagnosing. The charge was very reasonable and Patrick saved me from spending unnecessary $, which is appreciated since I am retired now. I will definitely call on Alexander Plumbing for any future needs and highly recommend them. Very pleasant and honest people. Nice to know there are businesses still like that.

Through the years I have used Alexander's plumbing for several issues from my hot water heater to my well. They are simply the best. They're pricing is reasonable, they are prompt and they do great work.

Had to call Alexander plumbing after attempting to repair a leaky toilet ourselves. Talked to Pat initially and he recommended replacing the toilet instead of repairing, and also guided us to our purchase. Paul came out the next day and was kind, courteous, and prompt—something I really appreciated. He was upfront about everything, efficient with his time, and made the whole process easy. Great service overall and we definitely recommend.

After dulling my Dremel's third cut-off wheel, I decided to go with Alexander Plumbing to remove the old kitchen sink faucet. Paul and crew replaced the old faucet with a new one I purchased. Amazing work, quick, good price, and very good guys.

I had a really great experience. We were having sewer back up into our basement through our floor drain. I called and was able to get honest and clear pricing beforehand. The process was explained to me thoroughly, and they were able to come out to me within the hour. The two gentleman that came out were professional and polite. After the service was done, they even cleaned everything up. I really couldnt recommend them more and we will be returning customers for future problems.

Pat is the man, he really came through for me when moving into my new home and had an immediate issue with the hot water heater. Went out of his way to help me over the phone and with a part out of kindness. Not many people/places nowadays would take the time to do this. If I ever have a plumbing issue in the future I’ll only call here.

We had a sewer back up into our laundry room. I called Alexander Plumbing and they were at our home within the hour! They had the line rodded out and were all done in two hours. AND, they cleaned the floor in the laundry room. Looked like nothing ever happened, all resolved by 11am. I am super thrilled with their work, their character and the decent people they are! Absolutely will call them again - and highly recommend them.

The speedy response and work was amazing. Neil did an amazing job of explaining the work he was doing as well as explaining prevention of future issues. He kept his work area clean. I’m so happy I called them. I believe I found a lifetime plumber for my forever home.

Had them come out and repair a water washer inlet hose that had rusted together. They came out the same day I called, and repaired the issue in less than and hour. They were cheap and affordable and I would highly recommend Alexanders Plumbing for any of you plumbing needs. I've used them several times thru out the years and they never disappoint. The are professional, courteous, and very affordable in their prices.

When I saw the name Drain 911 I jumped at calling them right away. Glad I did, this guy named Sam came out to our house in carpentersville within 45 minutes! My basement was completely flooded. Sam took one look downstairs, he asked me a few questions about the house and got started. Turns out I had two problems.
After pumping all of the water out of my basement he determined that my ejector pump failed. After he replaced that he realized the new ejector pump was not pumping. Guess my main sewer pipe was clogged. So he rodded the sewer line and got everything flowing for me. Very reasonably priced and loved the service! He is going to come back to video inspect my sewer line next week to make sure I good to go. Thank you for being so quick and accurate.

We were very impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail by this company. They secured the building permit. Arrived on time, completed the work, removed the old water heater and Jeff followed up with scheduling the inspection. The total price was much lower than the other HVAC companies I was dealing with. We will definitely use FJ Bero for all our plumbing needs.
