Reviews of local pros in Elgin, Illinois

We have used Bero for 20+ years and never had any problems with them. They are always courteous and professional . I have recommended them to several people over the years.

Thank you for doing a great job installing our new Kohler bathroom faucet and drain while being careful not to damage our original sink. Always appreciate your prompt professional service.

What a pleasure it is working with FJ Bero. Zach is beyond nice, and I always feel as if I am receiving fair and excellent service all the way around. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for all of my plumbing needs!

I would like to thank Bero Plmg. for returning my 15 year old showers mixing valve back to new. Especially Jeff for researching the parts and Zach for the professional installation. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

Our kitchen sink was not draining properly and it was only a couple days before Christmas! There were no appointment openings until the next day. My husband’s cookie baking was on hold!!! Then we received a call that Zack could come in 10 minutes. Bero Plumbing saved the day! Zack opened our drain and we could get back to our Christmas preparations!

I've used FJ Bero a few times over the past 5 years or so, mostly to replace old gate valve shutoffs with quarter-turn, but also to replace an old gas shutoff that was stuck and correct the drain plumbing under the kitchen sink. In all cases the company has answered the phone promptly, been clear about available slots and the plumber has arrived on time. When they haven't had the correct parts on the truck, they have come back soon after to finish the job. I recommend them and they do a good job.

Our technician, Zach, arrived right on time, was friendly, knowledgeable, and had our new hot water heater installed in less than two hours. Bero’s has become the “go to” plumbing company in our neighborhood.

Jeff Bero's phone advise/recommendations were spot on. Zachary arrived exactly when we agreed on, and took care of 4 different tasks very efficiently and satisfactorily, in a professional and friendly manner.

FJ Bero has always come through for us! We have a 100 year old house and believe me, we have had our share of plumbing issues!😠
The guys are always proffesional and very friendly! The girls who answer the phones are super helpful and nice.

FJ Bero has always been quick and reliable. Several times going above and beyond to give great service. We’ve been using them since we became homeowners, roughly thirty years ago.

We have used Bero's plumbing services for 35 years since our church's regular use to solve their problems. They have always been courteous, prompt and straight forward. Their plumbers have given me many good inside tips too.

I had two jobs, kitchen faucet and recirculating pump. Cannot believe what a great job Zach did on both installations. Clean and fast. He not only installed but gave me good info on care. I highly recommend FJ Beto and Zach for any plumbing job. I will definitely call them again.

We've used FJ Bero several times and have never been disappointed. They are responsive, honest, highly qualified and happy to help with small jobs or large ones. Their prices are fair for their breadth of knowledge, vast experience and professionalism. The fact that the business is fourth generation family owned tells me that they continue to do a great job for their customers!

I've used FJ Bero 3 times now, most recently in January 2024. The response was very timely from when I requested an appointment to when the appointment occurred. Zach addressed all of my questions and successfully handled the issues we were having.

I have been very impressed with their knowledge, professionalism, consideration of options I had, competitive pricing and quick turnaround for availability. I would not hesitate to use FJ Bero again with any sort of plumbing needs that I may have.

Second time in the last 8 days that we have used the services of F.J. Bero Plumbing. Zach, from Bero was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. We have used F.J. Bero Plumbing for years. We find their entire service team to be friendly, professional and skilled in all facets of plumbing. They show up on time and get the job done right the first time - every time! A special thanks to Jeff Bero to making sure our clogged drain issue was addressed before the Christmas Holiday weekend.

I have been a customer for the past 10+ years and have always had exceptional service. Zach was very professional (and honest) which I definitely appreciated. He even returned my call after about 15 mins being finished with the job to assist me even more. Keep up the great work FJ Bero!!

F. J. Bero plumbing has helped with our old house plumbing a number of times. I called them this morning and the issue was solved before noon. Excellent service!!!

We called to have a kitchen faucet replaced. Jeff set up appt as soon as they could, and Zach - who puit new faucet in- was wonderful. We have an old home and only a certain faucet works. They were so helpful and so glad we called them.
