Greenwise was a pleasure to work with in the replacement of our existing pavers. When we bought the house, the backyard had brown pavers and no plants. Over time, we landscaped but still had those brown pavers. We contacted Greenwise and several other companies for quotes on replacing the pavers and adding turf for some color, plus removing existing degrading wooden planter boxes.

Greenwise was by far the best. They weren’t the absolute cheapest, nor were they the most expensive. But they were the only ones to consider the need to add a pad for the fire pit to sit on, so the turf didn’t melt. They were very communicative throughout the process, and any snags were immediately addressed.

The yard looks so much better. Really great experience! Highly recommend!

I can't say enough good things about our experience with the Greenwise team; we felt that they were personally invested in creating our backyard's "secret garden" to complement our new garage. They made our dreams a reality, but better than we had imagined. Lynn communicated quickly and efficiently, yet has the eyes and heart of an artist. It's apparent she loves what she does. The hardscaping aspect consists of lannon stone paths and patio, giving us the gentle curves and organic feel that we were looking for. The hardscaping team are craftsmen who take obvious pride in their work, cutting the stones on site, and the soft-scaping team created a native perennial pollinator paradise to please our eye and conscience. They had a little bit of difficulty assembling the 2 screening panels (not pictured) that I had purchased elsewhere, but they came right back to fix them once the error was realized. They were conscientious and thorough with daily clean-up, and there was an extra surprise for us when they did some grass seeding in patchy areas of the front yard and along our driveway. We love the personable and professional service Greenwise provided, and are delighted with the results! Thanks again Lynn, Laura (designer from Green Team Milwaukee prior to merge with Greenwise) Heather and the rest of the team who made this happen. We can't wait to finally relax and enjoy our space, after years of dreaming! (The photos included don't do the yard justice as they don't show the perennials already so much larger and blooming, nor the vines which will eventually roof the pergola, and one of the photos is taken through a window screen. Also the last 2 photos are "before" photos so that you can appreciate the transformation.)

The worst experience, they resoded my grass in May. It is brown and dead, and almost popping up from the ground. I watered and provided the care exactly as instructed, and when I called to voice my concerns about how bad it looked, I was told this was normal, there was nothing they could do about it, and it will look better next year. I wish I had been told that before I paid for a lawn that looks far worse than what I had before.

We have worked with Lynn Litzau with Greenwise for several years. She has always worked closely with us in our annual lawn and plant care. This year she developed a new landscape for the front of our home. This was installed after a new porch was installed. Lynn and the landscape staff worked very hard installing our new landscape and walkway, which is beautiful. We are very happy with their work annually and on this project. I recommend them for any landscape work you need done.

I had a great experience with Greenwise! They came out for a consultation and understood what we wanted with our back yard immediately. They handled all the permitting and really made the process as simple and streamlined as possible. Our yard looks incredible, they redid our brick patio and cleaned up all of our garden beds so we'll be prepared to plant in the spring. Communication was great through the whole process. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I like to leave reviews at the end of the season so I can really attest to the durability and overall aging of the work. Our family had two separate services completed by Greenwise so I will comment on those separately:

Firstly, we noticed we were getting a lot of wildlife (including a deer family) crossing through our front yard which made all our landscaping cascade into the alley. I contacted Greenwise for their custom landscaping design services to see what we can do to better guide the wildlife around our yard instead of through it. I had the idea of a short stone retaining wall that would keep the landscaping from tumbling into the alley. Heather from Greenwise came out and spent a good amount of time hearing my concerns and offering up solutions. She was very thorough, kind, and educated on the matter. Overall, Heather went above and beyond for us and we really appreciate it. The Greenwise team that came out to complete the job worked safely and efficiently. They kept everything neat and were cautious to not negatively affect the surrounding landscaping while they worked. The stone wall came out looking fantastic and the replacement tree is one of my favorites now. I would highly recommend Heather and Greenwise for any custom landscaping services.

The second service we contacted Greenwise for was for lawn care mowing and maintenance. Marco came out to survey our front and back yard and explained the details of the services they could provide. He, too, was very kind and did not push any unnecessary additional services on us. The Greenwise team have been coming once a week every week to maintain our yards and they always do a very nice job. We also added on their natural weed control protocol and I think it has made a noticeable improvement in our lawn. I do wish our house could be serviced on a later day in the week, though I understand how with existing scheduling, it is not always possible. Nevertheless, I would also highly recommend Greenwise for their lawn care and maintenance services and look forward to using them again next year. A big thank you to the Greenwise team!

we had a great experience with green edens! it was a relatively small job but the team showed up on time, did great work, were friendly and helpful, and left the site clean and tidy. we can’t wait to work with them again in the future!

I initially reached out to Green Edens in the hope that they could help me with flooding in my backyard. I had read reviews of them using native landscaping to build rain gardens and was very intrigued. We ended up going way beyond, completely transforming our backyard landscaping from an overgrown mess into a beautiful and functional space. Amy and her team were very responsive to all of our questions and helped us build a backyard within our budget.

Amy transformed our yard into a beautiful oasis. At our initial meeting, Amy did a walk-through and listened patiently to our hopes for this large but previously uninspiring space. We came to Amy with concerns about one particular area of our yard that had consistently flooded. Amy recommended a rain garden installation with native plants that would help alleviate the flooding issues. A year in, we are so pleased not just with the functionality of this new garden, but with the tranquil retreat that Amy and her team created out of a swampy mess! In addition, Amy recommended a wide array of colorful native plants for several other beds. The plants she chose are pollinator-friendly and low-maintenance, and with each season we have found something new to appreciate about the landscape design. Along the way, we found every member of the Green Edens team to be responsive, enthusiastic, and patient with educating us about how to maintain the plantings. When there was a minor problem with one of the plantings, Amy stopped by the very next day and didn't just fix the one issue-she enhanced the entire area with additional plantings! We were so happy with the Green Edens team that we began another major installation this year. We are looking forward to many years of our new and improved view, and to time spent in what we see as our own personal park!

We're so happy we found Amy to re-imagine our front yard for us. After 2 years of exterior construction and painting, it was a mess. Amy patiently guided us through selecting plants appropriate to our site, knowing that we weren't interested in anything needing a lot of ongoing care. She was sensitive to our budget, so we could invest where it would have the greatest impact and save elsewhere. Mario and team did a great job on both the installation and the clean-up afterwards. We're really pleased with the whole experience, and think the result is terrific.

Amy really understood what we were looking for and our new gardens are exceeding my expectations. Even with only a few months of growth, they are looking beautiful. I have been enjoying every minute of them, even the weeding and upkeep. Mario went above and beyond, setting up sprinklers when installation unexpectedly happened while we were out of town so the new plants would make it and reworking a pathway that wasn't functional. We are delighted with our new outdoor space and so glad we chose Green Edens.

Green Edens is the best! We initially hired them to do a garden reorganization, and were so satisfied with their work that we decided to have Amy do a complete design for all of our gardens. In my experience, it is rare to find a company that combines so many great attributes: talent, timeliness, good value and creativity. Green Edens is it. My renewed rear garden is a delight; and, I am looking forward to spring when Green Edens renews my front garden. Amy and Dan are a great team. Mario Ortiz and his crew efficiently realized Amy's plan. I now think of Amy as painting with plants!

About an year ago I hired Diego to be my landscaping contractor and my lawn has never looked better. He did a great job with the flowers and does it all at a reasonable price!
