This was our second year using Courtlin's crew and once again their work was outstanding. Our gardens are particularly challenging for mulch spreading (especially with this year's early spring) due to the sheer volume of foliage, but the results speak for themselves. Highly recommend!

Our backyard was in need of some big time TLC after having our sewer line replaced. I'm really impressed by the level of detail Courtlin and his team bring to their work. They buried a few downspouts in our lawn, laid sod, and planted ground cover. What a difference! Nice to see the owner getting his hands dirty and staying involved in all parts of the project. Looking forward to working with them on future projects

We had a great experience with Evanston Landscaping LLC.! The front of our house was a mess and now we can’t stop looking at it from the curb! Our needs were listened to, and a mock up was created so we could see what the potential finished product would look like. The finished product was even better than we expected. We also needed some sod put in our side yard and we couldn’t be happier with that. The team got this work done quickly and was very responsive when we had questions. We highly recommend them for any landscaping projects you may have.

Had them do projects at two homes over 38 years. Very satisfied.

This place is worthless even IF they call you back. I’m not sure why I’ve tried to hire them 3 times only to be turned away for requesting outlandish things like landscape and lawn services.

Owner seems a bit unstable. Work is subpar and sloppy. Prices are higher than anyone else and keep going up while services keep declining.

I've used Nature's Perspective for various projects over the past 20 years at two houses in Evanston. They've done a great job with design, plants and anything that involves masonry -- the bone structure of a yard or garden -- and I always look to them as my first choice for any project that I can't do myself.

We have been with NPL for several years and are very happy with the service and the personnel. Most recently they helped us solve our rabbit problem with a "poor man's fence" per Tom and we're happy

Communication was terrible and I spent nearly 2 months chasing them for any information or updates. Two early site visits were followed by excuses endless chasing via phone and email, and even being referred to a manager ... still nothing. Their lack of professional courtesy has wasted my opportunity to complete my yard project within this season.

Your response below is another excuse. The COVID pandemic does not affect your ability to return a call just once in 7 weeks. Pay attention to the consistency in the bad reviews on Angie's list; almost exclusively they call out poor communication. We get that you're busy, and the customers you do help seem happy, but have the decency to not just ignore those projects that don't interest you.

Nature's Perspective completed two high quality, well-executed projects to beautify our home (and at the same time keep rainwater away from our foundation): Lovely landscaping of our backyard and a curved, brick walkway leading from the front of our house to a spacious brick patio Nature's Perspective designed and installed in the back. Together these projects have created what is essentially a beautiful outdoor family room where we host happy gatherings of friends and family.

For the last 5-6 months, I have had the pleasure of working with Tom Klitzke, President and CEO of Nature’s Perspective Landscaping. Tom has been uber-considerate while our condo thought through “redoing” our courtyard and front yard property, locally in Evanston, IL.

Tom was born to do this work. He is observant, considerate, analytic, strategic, and smart. He is invested in his projects and the success of plans for all involved. He has a consistently patient and pleasant demeanor. He works and partners with clients—explaining and taking the time to explore issues as well as investing, feeling pride with and celebrating the enjoyment of work well done.

To put it simply, Tom walks and talks the language of an extraordinary Landscaper and business owner. Stage 1 was a more-than-worthwhile endeavor. Residents and board members join me in looking forward to having this group continue our annual landscape maintenance as well as moving toward to Stage 2 and perhaps 3. Thanks to all involved. MG

Phenomenal experience working with this company. Ethical, responsive, talented, and knowledgeable. I used this company to build a stoop and front path and wouldn’t hesitate to call them in the future for other projects. They did a great job all around.

Since NPL starts taking care of my front and backyard, they look better and better as time goes by. The office members are professional, informative and decently responsive, and the field workers also do very decent jobs and are courteous. I can read how much the owner and the members care about the job from the maintenance updates. (if you are already working with them and have been receiving maintenance updates, you do want to read them) I feel lucky and am very happy that I found NPL and get to work with them. Thank you!

It was a pleasure to work with Nature's Perspective on both landscaping and hardscaping for our home. They have great ideas and accommodate customers' ideas as well. The work and products are high-quality. We especially love our new back walkway. NP has also recently done some additional planting in bare spots from last year's landscaping, covered under the warranty.
