Our condo building uses Nature's Perspective for our maintenance. We also use them for a master plan and landscaping improvements. Tim Benz has worked closely with the Levy Senior Center Foundation for the last three years. His help has included designing, implementing, and maintaining gardens at the Levy Center in Evanston.
He is responsive, the crews are professional, and gardens are flourishing. He has also gone beyond his responsibilities and helped us in a very time consuming planning of our new vegetable gardens. He is respectful, patient, and knowledgeable. I would totally recommend him and his crew to anyone who is looking for a landscaper.

I have only good things to say about our experience with Nature's Perspective, and the service and support we received from the team and our day-to-day contact, Britta Franke. While we were aware of the company, we began working together after I received ringing endorsements from two friends in the area.

The project itself included a full overhaul of the front, side and back yards, along with sizeable hardscaping projects in both the front and back. Their patience in working with us through the design phase, their ability to listen to and solve for problem areas we had in the yard, and their ability to work alongside other contractors we brought into the effort (fencing, irrigation, windows) all created a strong degree of comfort throughout the process.

Britta set expectations early with us, was attentive to aspects of the project that needed further attention, and was honest and fair throughout related to pricing. Never have I worked with a company that actually decreases the invoice cost at the end of the project due to over-estimates in certain areas. The added bonus of the warranty on plants for two years made working with them a no-brainer and made me someone who will whole-heartedly recommend them to others going forward.

After twelve years with the same lawn service I switched this year to Nature's Perspective because I observed who had the beautiful yards in the neighborhood and whose crews were doing the work. Nature's Perspective!! Our yard and gardens look the best they've looked since we bought the house. The crew is polite and attentive, noticing things that need attention and taking care of them. And in today's COVID environment, they are always wearing a mask to protect themselves and others - and really as a courtesy, I think, to the homeowner and neighbors. My account manager reaches out regularly to check in (account manager - another first for a lawn and garden service). Couldn't be more pleased.

Britta has been helping me with a series of outdoor remodeling projects over the past 3 years. She is incredibly responsive, kind, and creative with her landscape designs and recommendations. Her team continuously delivers and I’m looking forward to tackling our next big project together.

We're delighted with the gorgeous prairie -- formerly our boring front yard (Yawn...) that NP and we have been collaborating to create. First planted 3 years ago, it gets better and better, richer and fuller and more varied with each passing year ... plus, it's much more environmentally sound than all that grass was ... PLUS, it's much easier to maintain! The service, including followup maintenance and additional plantings, has been outstanding. Special kudos to Kyle -- "You da man!"

A great experience all the way around! Nature's Perspective did both design and installation of a new patio and plants in the backyard, plus new beds and plants in the front yard. Britta and the whole crew were excellent!

Originally contacted multiple landscaping services after we moved to the suburbs from downtown Chicago. Britta (landscaping designer and project manager) responded with very quickly and professionally to set up an appointment. She was timely and detailed in her walk through and listened to our ideas and provided feedback with her recommendations and knowledge regarding plant life and our area. For a minimal amount, she created design plans including computer-generated images of what the space would look like with her ideas. We were very impressed with Britta and her attention to detail that we moved forward with their proposal. We have completed 2/3 of our projects and looking forward to continuing the project in the fall. Not only has Britta been responsive to our emails and adjustments but both crews that have worked on the project have been kind, quick and professional. I defiantly recommend working with Nature's Perspective and ask for Britta!

I can’t say enough good things about working with Tim and the planting crew at Nature’s Perspective. We needed out backyard to function better for three little kids and two dogs...and for two full time working parents who don’t exactly have green thumbs. Tim listened and came
Up with an awesome plan that makes world of difference for us. He saved money by transplanting many perennials we already had which was huge for us. The crew who installed the plantings and sod were wonderful—hardworking, kind, thorough and left the site cleaner than they found it.

I'm very happy with the way our project turned out. Nature's Perspective replaced our ugly old front stoop with a beautiful new stoop and walkway with lights and gorgeous landscaping. The price was reasonable and when we saw how many people worked on the project and how much time they spent we felt it was an extremely good value. Designer Britta Hoiland was wonderful to work with. I loved the drawings she made for us so we could visualize the final product before she started, and I appreciated her patience when we made a few changes along the way. We hope to work with Britta again in the future!

We are a repeat customer with NP over the many years we have lived in Evanston and now, Glenview. They are a pleasure to work with. We worked with Tina and she was very knowledgeable and responsive. We did not have a large project but she devoted her time and attention to us like each project we have done was a big project. We like to do some of the structures and plants ourselves as a hobby (diy'ers) so we did appreciate that they let us do certain parts of the projects ourselves and combined their labor and expertise with our ideas as well. They were so very patient and answered our many questions. We also did a lot of price comparisons (as diy'ers) and found for the quality and the time and care they put in their plant inventory for the prices they charge, although not inexpensive, are very worth it! Their plants (and trees especially) thrive better and look amazing over the years. They also offer a great 2 year warranty that is above the industry standard. Their work crews are attentive, careful, prompt, neat and have so much experience and are perfectionists. They get a great big green thumbs up!

Nature's Perspective has made our small property shine through the fine work and attentiveness of its crews. Every detail is attended to from edging to pruning and fertilizing to perfect height mowing. Work is completed in a timely manner by the hardworking, responsive and very pleasant crew members. The work of Nature's Perspective resulted in our being awarded a property beautification certificate from the Village of Skokie. A heartfelt thanks to a great company.

After a year of rotating propane tanks to keep our portable fire-table going, we contacted Nature’s Perspective about building a permanent one connected to our gas line. This was a complex project with multiple professionals involved. Tim Benz made sure every detail was planned out perfectly before the crews ever came and everything went great. Jorge’s crew did the most amazing job! The areas that had to be “dug-up” to run the gas line are completely undetectable now & the upgraded fire feature is incredible!
During the install I had a question & rather than having me explain over the phone, Jordan, who supervised our project, drove straight over to take a look & answer my question.
We couldn’t be more pleased with the finished project, but from the earliest steps, and throughout the entire process, we had peace of mind & confidence working with Nature’s Perspective!
Admittedly, there was a considerable wait-time, but that was disclosed to us even before we started discussing the design. Once they started, the project was completed in just 3 days. Workmanship like theirs doesn’t “grow on trees” & having perfectionists like Jorge & his crew handling our project made it all Worth the Wait!!

Three years ago Nature's Perspective Landscaping designed and implemented a garden in the front of our home. I wanted a stone pathway in the middle of it connecting our front porch to the side gate. The breeze blows and our front looks like it is in motion and I have a beautiful path to walk through the middle. Exactly what I asked them to do, with color and blooms timed exquisitely. It is amazing!! We had them spring-ready the garden last year and are scheduled for this March. Super excited to see the beauty this spring. We continue to get compliments on the job that they did. I have used Nature’s Perspective for many projects over the years, and they always do a fantastic job! Tim, Angel, and their crew are always professional, responsive, on time, and the quality if their work us always great. We contacted them originally because the last company we used, a very expensive, high end company, installed plants that began to die a year or two after installation. We noticed our neighbors using Nature’s Perspective, and they were much more reasonably priced. Over the years I have used them to do various projects and have probably at this point had them landscape the entire house. Tim drew up a plan for us, and we have slowly been installing trees, bushes, ground cover, and perennials over the years. Their plants are great quality and always establish well and thrive. Last year they resodded our entire front and back yard with and it looks great. Most importantly, our front and back gardens are now looking beautiful.
Angel and his crew did an amazing job clearing away dead trees and bushes and installing all the new plants.

It was a joy to watch your two amazing flower bed designs come together in our backyard last Fall, and it was great to see how efficiently the crew dealt with removing the old, buried brickwork that ran through the middle of the beds, while raising and extending the edging brickwork.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching how quickly they worked together, like a precision drill team, to arrange, install and water the plantings, while putting down the mulch to complete the look.

It makes me smile every time I see how your suggestions for the types of plants, their arrangement, and the color palette all turned out. I am so very pleased!

We've used Nature's Perspective for 3 rounds of landscaping, and this year for regular maintenance. The landscaping work has been pretty good, although on the expensive side. The maintenance work has been a nightmare since day one. Despite a hefty weekly price tag, their crews zip across our 0.6 acre property and are sometimes in and out in 40 minutes flat, leaving grass, sticks, leaves, and other debris on site. We've had multiple plants die, and our grass is brown despite repeated calls to address. We've had to prompt their crews to do all the things they promised in the contract -- weeding, pruning, cleanup. The few times we have managed to get the maintenance manager Ben onsite to see the mess, he always apologizes and says he's going to make things better, but then the next week we get the same messy, rushed service.

We have worked with Nature's Perspective on three major yard projects during the last several years. Mark has been a wonderful guide during all of these projects!

Last year he helped us create a beautiful backyard living area. Our yard is not big, but he creatively designed the space to have a large deck, brick patio, a beautiful garden and grass for our dog to enjoy. We are spending all summer outside enjoying the space.

This year we decided to transform all of our front yard's grass into a pollinator oasis which includes flowering plants, grasses, new bushes and a stone path with lighting. We love it! And, we are getting many compliments from neighbors that love the look as well.

I highly recommend Nature's Perspective - all the way from the design process through the instillation. Working with them is a pleasure!

We have used Nature's Perspective twice over the last 5 years: first for a major accessible ramp plus patio, sidewalk, and new garden bed installation and this week, for a smaller job to remove aged yew shrubs and install a new garden bed. We worked with Mark both times to do the design. We really appreciate the friendly and collaborative way that NP does its work--we find it very easy to design together and the jobs have been first rate. Great service and great outcomes!

We have been part of the Nature's Perspective Landscaping monthly care service since June, 2024 and are so pleased with their very professional approach, attention to every detail and the always wonderful attitude of the landscaping crew (led by Marco) that cares for our lawn/shrubs. Our first connection was with Ben as he is our representative for most of our needs and is very quick to make things happen for us! They make wonderful recommendations to enhance our curb appeal as we are on a very shady corner and needed a lot of attention. Most recently Tom (another member of the NPL team) recommended placing mulch in one of our shady areas to enhance our shaded space, and wow, what a difference, and our neighbors have even commented on how nice it looks. NPL also provides support with "hardscaping" and they are now helping us with a couple of other outside projects we had overlooked. We are so happy the team at NPL provides such great support and is our "go to" for our lawn and outside hardscaping care. And their office team (Tonia and Terra) are always available to answer any questions! We love and appreciate working with NPL.
