Andrew and Ty came to check on our sump pump late on a Friday night during an emergency. They were very informative and professional and got all the work done quickly. We appreciate their work and advice! They really saved our basement.

Cameron was helpful and clear, efficient and left things clean and in order. He gave me good advice about ways to save time and money in the future as well!

Extremely disappointed with this company!

The technician did good work, but the pricing was not communicated clearly. I was told the garbage disposal would be around $300, which matches typical market pricing (usually $250–$500 installed). I later found out the actual charge was $1,121 for the disposal alone, with no itemized estimate provided ahead of time.

The final invoice was far higher than what was verbally explained, and I was never shown a breakdown before signing. The experience left me feeling disappointed and taken advantage of. If you use this company, make sure you get a detailed written estimate before agreeing to anything.

John was friendly and professional. He was quick to assess the problem and fixed the issue swiftly and efficiently. He saved our Sunday afternoon!

Technician was friendly and knowledgeable and took time to explain the process. We did not have the cleanout done by them as we were just getting estimates.

I am not very happy with the finishing of my plumbing work. The wooden pad you used under the plumbing work, Spigot, is the original from the previous install. It is weathered and rotting. I would like a new piece that is not rotting. I would expect that is what your quite included. Please advise when this can be done. Thank you. John Morse

Matthew did a great job even though he had to deal with an inoperable outside shut off.

Rob was very helpful in describing the issue and was able to resolve it in a timely manner. I truly appreciated his friendly approach and I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs plumbing services now or in the future!

The clog was unclogged. The cost was extortionate: $450 for what was essentially a fifteen minute job. The man who completed the work was pleasant but he came in and out of the house 3 times with wet and dirty feet and dragged his equally dirty equipment up the stairs and across the kitchen. He removed a piece of PVC pipe in order to do the rodding and put it back without even wiping it down and it was filthy because he handled it with filthy gloves—-which he also laid on the floor. Not by any means a satisfactory outcome. I would not recommend either the company or the tech.

Ty at Blanton Plumbing is the best! Service was prompt, efficient, clean, Ty was personable and excellent at his job. This was an urgent repair request and Blanton responded immediately with appropriate repairs. Much appreciated and I highly recommend Blanton and Ty!

J Blanton plumbing doesn’t play around! I had some issues that were very difficult to identify for the other guys but not for My man Edgar the plumbing master solved my problems properly. He educated me as to why I had issues and provided the most efficient and cost effective solutions in plain English. My Leaks and clogs are now gone and he let me know how to avoid them in the future. Thank you Edgar, you’re a life saver!

Good experience with J Blanton plumbing. Started with Andrew, who came out to assess the situation. Andrew was very professional and knowledgeable about anything relating to plumbing and the laws. Andrew expressed to me what he thought the issue is. The next professional was Clayton who completed the job. Clayton also was professional and knowledgeable. He arrived on time, and installed the check valves to correct the water mixing issue I had. I was only getting hot water in my tub/shower area. Clayton didn't waste any time getting the job done. He explained to me what he had done in a way that was understandable. I am satisfied with the overall work that was done. Thank you JBlanton Plumbing for correcting my plumbing issue. I will recommend this company for all your plumbing needs, and I will definitely use them again.

Ron was great. They were able to get out to me the same morning that I called, was friendly and informative. Told me what to do and, more importantly, what not to do in the future to keep the clog from happening again. Gave me some tips on routine maintenance and made sure I was satisfied before heading out.

SEVEN HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS to replace the little doohickey in my shower that toggles the flow between tub spout and showerhead.
EDIT: after I posted this review they called and offered me 150$ off, and for that I'll give them another star - but 600$ is still far too much for that little of a job. It took the tech about 15 minutes and I looked up the price of the replacement part on Lowes website and it's 20$. unless the techs are paid 300/HR that is really exorbitant pricing.
If you do choose to work with them be warned that they have an overly strong sales team - I felt very railroaded by the person I initially spoke to. I would also advise you to haggle hard.

So good! It’s not often you can you say that about a contractor you call in an emergency. The whole process was great from John’s professionalism to his great work repairing my drain. Just so good!

Anthony was great and did a wonderful job. I will use your plumbing company exclusively. I need to have more work done, a pit and drain in the water heater/boiler room.

Called as we needed a full sump pump replacement including the backup battery. The control center was very helpful in immediately confirming whether a technician would be available to come out the same day (much better responsiveness than some other places we tried calling) as we were going out of town the next day. Andrew and Andrew came out in the afternoon, inspected the system and gave my wife and I several options to consider. The very next morning, Thomas came out to do the installation (on-time and was done within an hour). Very happy with the responsiveness and ability to accommodate a compressed schedule in which to get this done.
