Not worth the annual service plus company tries to auto renew the annual subscription even when you tell them not to, which isnt legal. Very shady.

I like to keep things short, don’t waste your time. They over charge, can never get a booking (when you do they don’t show up), poor communication with representative. This is coming from being with them for 1 year. I will not be renewing my membership. They’ve completed 3/12 jobs I’ve requested.

I've been trying to get a general current COI to verify this company is insured for the services they claim for the business names they claim for almost 2 weeks. We like the tech who quoted us, and are ready to move forward IF we can confirm this is a legit company... Which is difficult bc they are so secretive about standard business procedures.... just spoke with a senior Manger and he said that was how they were advised by their insurance company to proceed bc they were getting false claims. Hmmm.

Also why is this company located inside what appears to be a liquor store? Why can't the city of Hillside confirm this is a legit address/business? When I called and asked the person said they are actually located in Chicago. Hmmm.

The technician came out last week and all communications were done via text. He was very responsive! He came out on time and finished the same day. The work is amazing and you can’t even tell it was damaged before! Wow! I will use this app again if need be. Great work guys!

Do not use them. They are a broker/dispatch service who will send you a technician from any number of companies. If anything goes wrong, which happened to me, neither PHS or the company they dispatched take any ownership. They never follow up like the dispatcher says they will and they basically expect you to give up.

I can’t believe all the positive reviews as I had nothing but problems with this company. I hired 2 guys through them. The first was a plumber who charged an incredible fee. No estimate before hand. I called to get an itemized receipt from the company a few times and never got a call back. The handyman was unprofessional. He didn’t even have time to finish the job and now I’m stuck having to hire someone new.

This is not really a company, more like a person that looks for independent contractors for you. In my case, they overcharged me for at least $400, I guess they need to make the commission back. Keep looking and find an actual company for your needs and not these guys.

This company tries to "Renew" an annual subscription by masking it as an initial service fee. Not worth the headache to have to deal with. Not a good business model trying to take advantage of people.

I requested a quote late morning, the worker showed up by early afternoon and completed the job within an hour. Very professional and time efficient, even made sure he didn’t make a mess. Will most definitely call them again if I need any other jobs done! I've tried a lot of other home service finder apps and this is by far the best and includes so much more. Recommended!

They provided swift and friendly assistance. We had been quoted outrageous prices by other companies, and their technician was very thorough in his assessment and provided us with a very reasonable option. He also made sure to do the assessment and fix the issue on the same day, which was wonderful. I would recommend this app 100%!

This place is a scam. I had two service calls with this company. I paid to enroll in their 'premium' service. The first trip the technician repaired my furnace by cleaning off the sensor so it would fire correctly. On top of the premium service charge, this cost me over $100. It took the technician less than 10 minutes. He then tried to sell me a replacement and installation for over $300. He claimed the replacement part was $127. I bought it myself and installed it for $10. The second service attempted was for a duct cleaning. The first appointment they did not show up. The second appointment they came two hours ahead of the designated window of time. They were intending to charge $35 a piece per vent (I have 13), as well as approximately $300 more for the return, dryer vent, and intake. When I told them I could get it for less than $300 elsewhere, they immediately moved the price to $300 flat fee. They do not give their customers any sort of best price. I am having the entire service done for under $100 by another company. Do not hire this service.

The app made scheduling for my plumbing work more fun and easier! The plumbers came out to my house on a Friday and worked all day without charging me extra. They were able to help resolve the issue I was having and even helped put me in touch with someone else to do some other work in the house I will need done. I would recommend these guys to anyone looking for a reliable, hardworking plumbing company. They are the best!

I requested their services via the application for the first time ever. He paid great attention to detail and am happy with the outcome. This app is legit and all the reviews are true!

DO NOT sign up for this service it is a SCAM! They are essentially a dispatched and we did deal with a decent plumber and good electrical but we're scammed out of $1k by a HVAC man who most likely wasn't even licensed. You call and are promised a million times to get a call from a manager and no one ever calls. Cannot be trusted, terrible business model. We had a flood and the second electrician they sent charged us $175 to check that all the outlets were safe and working and he said they were but one of them popped and stopped working when we tried to use it. That could have been really dangerous.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! PHS duped me into joining their service for $99. We called a local electrician in January who had great reviews. They upsold me and my husband for PHS at $99 telling us that we would receive fast service and discounts for the year on any other home repair issues. In July, our AC died. I used the PHS app to schedule a technician. Didn’t hear anything for over an hour, so called them. Was guaranteed a phone call by the end of the night by a technician. NOTHING.

So my husband called another company who came out at 8am the next day and fixed the issue.

I didn’t hear ANYTHING from PHS until FIVE DAYS LATER. They left me two messages is about an hour or so in the middle of my work day no called them back within an hour of the last message. NO ANSWER. So I checked the app, and they marked my job as “COMPLETED” without speaking to me.

So I went on the website to call. THE FIRST NUMBER LISTED DID NOT WORK. I called a second number and got a live person who told me that it was “normal” for it to take five days to get a call back.

I asked why I was asked to pay $99 for a service they don’t offer…

He then lied to me and told me a technician had reached out to me and I was unresponsive. When I argued with him about this, he hung up on me.

I have NO messages for anyone about my AC problem.

Do not do business with this company. If you need your order in 1 month no problem. I ordered an air conditioning unit from them. Unfortunately after I ordered it I was informed that it would take a minimum of 15 business days to process the order. Usually when people need an appliance they need it ASAP. When I tried to contact them the only response I received was an email to buy more products from them. The customer service person was rude ended up cancelling my order. Buy from Lowe's. They don't even stock the equipment at their location. They order it then ship it to you eventually. Terrible customer service. Beware

We run a small Airbnb and have to dry lots of linens. The dryer was slow and hot. These guys cleaned the line, showed me how to keep it lint-free between guests, and gave a huge boost in efficiency.

I worked with them when using Century Electric. They instantly charged me $99 but the workers no showed for multiple appointments. It took months to get the refund for work that was never done.

From electrical repairs to handyman work, Premium Home Service has never let me down. Their team is skilled, punctual, and thorough. It's rare to find a company that handles so many services with such excellence. Five stars!

This app provides lots of services at my home like painting, Furnace repairs. Installed it 2 months ago and have never been disappointed. We can book multiple services. I really like this app. Thumbs up!!
