Advantage Air installed a new furnace last year and when my air conditioner went out this spring, I went right back to them. They're everything you want: Professional, responsive, knowledgeable, and fair. All around it's a good experience when you work with Advantage Air. They're my HVAC go-to.

I’ve used Advantage Air Heating & Cooling for many years for all of my rental properties. Whenever one of my tenants calls me with a problem with the heat or air conditioning, I just let Advantage Air know and they take care of coordinating an appointment with my tenant. Always fast response from their office and flexible appts to work with my tenants. The Tech will let me know what they find out is wrong once they go there and will get my approval for the repair if needed. They can even email me an Invoice to pay online which makes it very easy for my bookkeeping of expenses for tax deductions. I’d definitely recommend Advantage Air in Lisle and Naperville for heating and ac repair.

When our 23-year old AC stopped cooling we knew we had to get it replaced ASAP. Advantage Air Heating and Cooling was able to come out the same day and give us a quote for a replacement. Since our furnace was as old as the AC we decided to replace both and also upgrade to a high-efficiency furnace. Advantage Air gave us a great price to replace both at the same time, and they got the job done the very next day! Their office even took care of registering our equipment warranty and filing for our Nicor rebate. Great local company which we highly recommend to everyone!

I cannot say enough about the service provided by Advantage Air Heating & Cooling. Our AC went out on a Sunday and we contacted them for a quick repair. They came out on a Sunday, worked on our aging AC system for more than 3 hours and got it working, but ultimately they were unable to fix the original issue given the age of our system. Despite a heavy schedule, they returned the next day, replacing our AC unit.

While swapping out our AC unit, Kelly saw additional issues to our furnace and ductwork and spent 4-5 hours repairing the poor workmanship provided by an agent of our home warranty company. The shotty workmanship was contributing to our less than optimum air circulation and Kelly and Steve repaired the system after replacing the AC unit. Unnecessary, but much appreciated as they saw a problem and fixed it.

I would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional service, quick response and trustworthy personnel. This was one of the best service companies I have ever had in my home.

We worked with Advantage Air Heating and Cooling for the past 2 years. We replaced our entire HVAC system and AC's the year prior and had an unfortunate accident that smashed our AC's beyond repair. Tess and Kelly were extremely helpful and understanding about our situation and had someone out as soon as possible. I would definitely use them again!! Thank you for everything!

I don't write reviews that often. I found them online with the highest rating, and they don't disappoint me. Also, supporting the local business is another reason I want to go with something other than those big guys. I had a suspected issue with my AC condenser a couple of weeks ago when it was 80-plus degrees outside. Then the temperature dropped in the following weeks, so I'm not in a super hurry.

I called up, and Tess picked up the phone and explained some basic ideas to ensure I understood my circumstances before setting up the appointment. She accommodated me with my schedule, and technician Kelly showed up on time at my front door. He checked it up very professionally and pointed out that my condenser's pressure was below zero, and it was already way passed its lifespan. Getting the new one seems to be the only way to go.

He wrote me a quote upfront, even with the detail of the model included. Explained the pros and cons of the pricing, features, and even the warehouse inventory availabilities, etc. I paid the service fee, which was $95, and then it was waived when I decided to get a new AC installed. Surprisingly, Tees squeezes me into the same-day installation. Yes, same day, after I agreed on the payment, Tees sent Kelly to pick up the new unit in Lombard and put it on for me the same day. It took about 4 hours to finish Kelly himself, and I appreciated the professionalism and communication during the process. Kelly spent the last 30 minutes testing out the leak and pressure before he wrapped it up, and everything worked wonderfully. So my whole family can stay cool and peaceful for the rest of the night.

After that, Tees will help me to register for the warranty, which I believe is an additional step they're taking to take care of their customer. Nowadays, we can simply get pieces of information or buy things online, including the service. Still, I don't really like the idea of talking to several representatives before someone knows what he's doing.

My furnace might be at the end of its lifespan as well. I'll definitely call them up again when I need an HVAC system for my house—big shouts out to Tees and Kelly.

I’ve heard a lot of complaints from friends and family about HVAC companies, so as a new homeowner I was nervous to have someone out. But my experience with Advantage Air couldn’t have been better. Tess in the office went above and beyond to get my needs met and Kelly the technician was wonderful. He was very professional and took the time to patiently explain the problem. Going forward, I will not be using any other HVAC company besides this one!

Great experience with my emergency air conditioning needs. Tess scheduled a consult right away and she was so knowledgeable. Very fair price. Kelly and Steve had my new air conditioner installed in one day. They were educational, personable and professional. Highly recommend.

Our AC went out at 6pm on a Friday! They were able to send Kelly over quickly (within 25 minutes!) and he was a GEM! He not only fixed our AC but taught us everything we needed to know about maintaining it among other things in our home. We are from AZ so are still learning all things Midwest. I wouldn’t use anyone else now! Thank you again!!

Edit!! We also had our furnace go out on Halloween!! Advantage and Kelly to the rescue AGAIN! We would never use anyone else. It is such a relief to know a good honest company we can trust!

The company employs really good people. I had an air conditioner replaced after it was hit by lightning. Unfortunately there was still leaking in my foundation conduit so Kelly worked out a plan and called in assistance. The two men worked all day on a Sunday to get my unit up and running. They and the front office kept me informed the whole way so there were no more surprises. Excellent teamwork and a job well done. I would definitely recommend!

We would give 6 stars if we could. Advantage Air is the best HVAC company we have ever dealt with. We live out of state now but elderly parents (upper 80's in age) are still in the same house in Downers, and Advantage works in parallel with both me offsite and my parents in Downers for any HVAC work required.

Over the winter when it was below 0 deg for almost 2 weeks straight they had an issue with their furnace, no heat. Parents have only used the yellow pages for this kind of work, they don't have an internet connection, so we needed to handle the repair process for them from offsite. After calling a few local companies, we had a good feel with Advantage so they came out to quote the same day I called.

The quotes and options were honest and realistic, with NO upselling or pushing for more than what my parents needed. If anything they saved money by keeping in mind the existing installation and how best to efficiently remove and replace without too much tear up. Even better, the SAME person (Steve) that quoted is the person who installed a new unit the next day.

During this process Advantage was keeping me updated by phone with options and updates while on site with my parents. This could have been a difficult situation but Steve and Tess made everything so easy. The price was amazing, the installation is neat and clean, and the communication was excellent. It is truly not possible to ask for more.

They recently charged/checked the AC system, reminding me about this before the hot weather hit, and Tess in the office is proactive about keeping me updated (at my request) with anything that pops up.

Bottom line, they are the BEST.

Advantage Air Heating & Cooling was incredible. We worked with Tess who was super responsive and transparent, and did a great job educating us in the process, the findings, and fixes. Kelly was our service person, was wonderfully nice, super smart, and a pleasure to have around. I’d recommend them to anyone! 5 stars all the way!

All I can say is that is that it is extremely refreshing to work with people who are honest and caring and Kelly and Tess are exactly that. Working with Tess over the phone, you will find that she is very knowledgeable in her industry and super responsive in her communications. She even reached out to us a couple of weeks after the jobs were complete to make sure we followed up on some rebates we were eligible for. Kelly had the responsibility of replacing two furnaces and two A/C units and I can tell you that my attic furnace replacement was not a simple one. He had a 30” square hole in a closet to remove and install the new unit and he did so with care and patience to make sure the job was done correctly and without damage to any parts of our home. Kelly is also very good at explaining things in a way that made sense to us, and he made sure we were 100% satisfied before he considered the job complete.

Absolutely phenomenal service. My home went down at the worst time of the year and Tess and the team were able to accommodate us instantly. Went through an unfortunate series of events from 20+ year old equipment and was expertly serviced. Highly recommended!!!

My heat went out on one of the coldest days we have had this year. Advantage Air answered my call right away and got someone out there the same day. My furnace was at the end of its design life and the technician was able to get it up and working for the night and they were able to fit me in the next morning to replace my unit. The technician was prompt, extremely professional and got the new furnace installed quickly so I wasn't without heat for too long. The office staff is amazing and they register your unit for you and they get it done quickly. 10 out of 10 would recommend Advantage Air.

Second time we have used Advantage Air to install a new system. First was an AC unit a few years ago and now a new furnace. Staff was very knowledgeable and super friendly. Never felt pressured to purchase anything and like the first time- installed the system very quickly. Price was very competitive and there was no upselling.
