We contacted London Heating & Cooling to do maintenance on our very old units, but after discussing the age of them, we decided to go with a new system instead. Mark gave us a great price for the job and even cleaned out our intake & dryer vents. He was punctual to both appointments, very professional, and finished the job quickly! We love supporting local businesses and it does not disappoint when they do an exceptional job!

I was in a pinch with my move and I needed some work done to my Split systems. Mr. London took my call on Thursday and came by first thing Friday to start my install and repair the AC leak. I couldn’t be happier with the quality of the work. Incredibly professional and knowledgeable. He provides too tier service to my entire family. He will always be the first phone call I make!

Furnace went out during an extremely cold spell - of course! London heating was quick at responding to my home and honest about options to either repair or replace. Given the age of my furnace I chose to replace. The work was done in a timely manner which was much appreciated as I was keeping the house warm with multiple space heaters. Owner was extremely prompt and professional and I would definitely recommend using this company!

OUTSTANDING!!!! Mark of London Heating and Cooling is amazing to work with, so fast and efficient!! We realized our a/c unit was only blowing warm air, we called Mark that evening and he was out the very next afternoon and had us back up and running with ice cold air with a part that needed replacing! We needed service from them about 3.5 years ago and it was the very same way, service complete and taken care of within 24 hrs of the call placed both times! Excellent customer service and support!! Highly recommend for sure!!

We are so grateful to Mark for preventing us from being ripped off further. Our furnace went out and we consulted four seasons. They said the problem was our blower wheel and charged us over $1000 to fix it. A month later the furnace stopped working again and four seasons said it was our blower wheel again and I told them we had that fixed. They told me there are two blower wheels and I believed them. We were about to buy a new furnace from them because they said other parts were going to break that are more expensive, but did not have enough credit. So I called around and Mark had told me that there is only one blower wheel on a furnace. We ended up purchasing a new furnace from Mark that is half the price of what four seasons was going to charge us. The furnace is working well and we are very happy. And we are very happy that Mark prevented us from being overcharged.

Needed to replace an older unit that unexpectedly stopped working. London Heating and Cooling was honest and affordable. Service was quick. Mark made an overwhelming situation easy to handle. Highly recommend.

Called Mark at 5:30 PM as the air conditioner was blowing hot air. He was at the house at 7:30AM the next morning. Replaced a capacitor and we were good to go. Will definitely call him when AC needs to be replaced.

Absolutely Terrible Experience – Dishonest, Aggressive, and Nearly Scammed My Family

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was so egregious that I feel obligated to warn others. Our HVAC stopped cooling, so I called this company for service. I was downtown at work and couldn’t be there, so my wife and infant son were home when the technician arrived.

The tech took one look and told my wife the unit (only 8 years old) needed to be completely replaced for $5,500. He claimed it was out of Freon and that finding the leak would be pointless. He said we could try adding Freon ($150 per pound), but it would “probably leak out by tomorrow.”

My wife tried to reach me, but I was unavailable, so she called her father. He suggested — reasonably — that we try a new air filter and add the Freon just to see. When I got the message minutes later, I called and agreed. The tech was clearly irritated by this and reluctantly added the Freon — then pulled the emergency switch and declared the compressor was shot and we “for sure” needed a new unit.

I said I wanted a second opinion. He became visibly angry, accused me of “wasting his Freon,” and was overall incredibly abrasive. My wife ended up in tears from how he treated her. He showed no professionalism, no patience, and appeared to be actively trying to pressure and scare us into a $5,500 replacement.

We paid the $230 he charged ($150 for Freon and $80 for labor) just to be done with it — though I made it clear I’d pay for what was used. He called me later to refund the Freon cost, saying he “shouldn’t have let us talk him into it” because he “already knew” it wouldn’t help. That doesn’t make it better — it makes it worse.

We got a second opinion. The issue? A $20 air filter. The second technician replaced the filter, confirmed the system was working fine, and even had to remove excess Freon because the first guy overfilled it.

So to recap:
• Never checked the filter
• Tried to sell us a $5,500 unit we didn’t need
• Pressured my wife while I was unavailable
• Made her cry with his hostility
• Acted offended that we wanted a second opinion
• Admitted he knew the Freon wouldn’t work but did it anyway
• Overfilled the unit with refrigerant

This wasn’t just bad service. It was predatory. Do not trust this technician with your home, your money, or your family. There are honest professionals out there — this was not one of them.

Great experience installing a new HVAC system. Smooth and easy process, quote was more than fair (far below larger competitors) and Mark is friendly and honest. Got it done in no time and work is thorough and high quality.

Our furnace went out on one of the coldest days, and Mark came to check it out right away. Our water heater was also leaking so he ended up replacing both our furnace and water heater for a great price. He was friendly, quick, and dependable! We will definitely continue to use him as our heating and cooling guy!

I have used this company twice now and highly recommend them! First time was to clean & service my furnace because I was experiencing restricted air flow & the next call was to clean a dirty flame sensor that was preventing my heat from turning on. On both occasions Mark has been easy to get ahold of, comes out quickly, and arrives within the timeframe he gives. He does great, efficient, honest work. I am a happy returning customer & plan on using London for all future heating/cooling services!

I needed our A/C unit serviced and did some research on companies to use. Finally I narrowed it down to a couple, but London Heating & Cooling was the only company accredited by BBB and had great reviews . So I gave them a call and Mark was able to fit me in his schedule a couple hours later. Happy to say my unit was fixed on the spot and most importantly…I wasn’t price gouged with the repair fee.
