Reviews of local pros in Maple Park, Illinois

I had them Trim my landscape and had premium beautiful mulch put in it looks beautiful and it smells so good too. These guys work very hard and do good job.

Very great work! All the workers are great! Very pleased!

This company has done an amazing job on our yard which was in really bad shape. Price was fair and all work has been completed better than what I expected. In fact, I just added additional work to be done, including a stone patio and path. I couldn't be more pleased with the results so far and would definitely recommend RLS.

First time getting our landscaping done professionally and I'm very happy! RLS did excellent work, they were prompt in communication, priced fairly, and were also very friendly. Yard looks great just in time for our summer!

No hay más estrellas para calificar el trabajo de estos chicos, es jenial, por algúna duda o sugerencia, siempre hay la mejor comunicación, y los mejores presupuestos al más cercano alcance. Los recomiendo mucho.

I cannot speak to the quality of the work but I can speak to the customer service/business practices. I had reached out to this landscaping company online to get a quote for a project in my backyard. They were prompt in their response, and I gave them a VERY brief description of the project I wanted done. Without getting any further details, they told me that my project wouldn't meet the minimum to dispatch a crew.

I want to be very clear when I say this company did not know the size of my project, the specifics, or my budget. I had even mentioned that I was open to what they recommended, which was a lost opportunity in itself.

I will not convince anyone that they should have my business. It should be the other way around. I have done large backyard projects before, and will likely do them in the future, and a business that does a good job will get my referrals. Tentinger will not.

I am very pleased to recommend Tentinger Landscapes. They were very responsive to my request for a spring clean up project. They came to our home right away and provided the project proposal and mulch samples. They completed the work the following week. We had them clean up and edge the beds, install hardwood mulch, prune several shrubs, install a number of plants and perform a stump treatment. Everyone that we worked with was professional and pleasant to work with. We will continue to work with them in the future.

Messaged them on google and they Led me on for days before saying they decided theyre not available.

Zach came out and spent quite a bit of time working with us on our landscaping needs. He was great and we had already decided that, of the companies we had received quotes from, we were going to go with him. This was on a Friday and he was supposed to send us a quote on Monday. Over a week later we finally called him and he claims to have sent it to the wrong email address. He promptly sent the quote, incomplete and with the wrong pictures. After correcting the invoice, we OK'd the work and waited on him to contact us with the scheduled date. Didn't hear from him so we finally called him. His team came out and did excellent work. The guys were polite, listened to what we wanted, and went above and beyond. Overall, we are very, very pleased with the work but communication with Zach was frustrating. Recommend them but you will have to follow up in order to stay informed.

These guys are the best in the business.

Honest, dependable services with a local owner.

In a timely and professional manor I was provided a clear and detailed proposal at competitive pricing.

Very professional and responsive company. Highly recommended for any landscape project you are thinking about!

Great experience working with the Tentinger team. Would bring them in again in the future.

We have been extremely satisfied with all the work Tentinger Landscaping has done at our home!

Tentinger's work far exceeded my expectations! Beautiful job! Experts in their job!

A great landscaping service. Quote was reasonable, crew was professional and the final product was wonderful! I would highly recommend.

Very professional, showed up in a timely mannor, cleaned up after themselves wouldn't even know they were here. Top notch A++ company to do business with!

Amazing experience with Tentinger Landscapes! Professional services from consultation to finish product. Highly recommend for your next landscaping project!

Beautiful job and design by Zach! I had a little let down with the foreman as I had to follow up a few times due to the job not being complete. Zach was then on it and made sure the project was finished to expectations. I'd hire him again.

I would not recommend this company. I had a simple seeding of half of my front yard that was done in the fall of 2014 by Tentinger. No instructions for watering or erosion control blanket removal were given. I watered the area twice a day as I knew the area needed to reamin most. It was difficult to see exactly what I had growing due to the erosion control blanket.

Boy was I surprised this spring! There is mostly weeds in the area, along with some new grass and lots of bald spots. The bald spots could not be repaired or re-seeded due to the thick erosion control blanket. Through much blood sweat and tears, Tentinger finally came to remove the erosion control blanket citing they were not responsible for its removal. Fair enough, but then shouldnt instruction be provided as to who is responsible and when/how it is to be removed?

Tentinger agreed to also fill the bald spots with top soil and add additonal seed. This is were it gets really awful. They came and filled the bald spots all right, but they filled it with stones, rocks, hard clumps of clay, and even some garbage! So far none of the new 'seed' they laid in the bald area has amounted to anything. How can it, its planted on a bed of garbage!

Buyer beware, this is not a good company to do business with.
