I was very happy with the landscape work that Tentinger Lanscape performed for me in my yard. They were very knowledgeable about types of plants, soil conditions, etc. and the plants they used were healthy and beautiful. The workers were friendly and everything was done on time and on budget. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family!

Tentinger is difficult to contact. They never respond to voice mails left for them. I finally got through and asked for a designer to plan some work. While the designer did arrive on the date/time scheduled, no further contact was received after 4 weeks. I made a follow-up call, and of course, only connected to voice mail. I left a message and once again received absolutely no feedback. This is a giant red flag as to what to expect from this company.

Zach and his guys are fantastic, they have done several big projects for us through the past few years and we have NEVER been disappointed! Zach always puts in a lot of time before they start their work to make certain that the final product is exactly what we had visioned! He is extremely conscious of our concerns and has great follow though and follow up!

We used Tentinger Landscaping for over two years. During that time we spent over $20K in landscaping (not including the fees for weekly maintenance). The weekly maintenance crew was fine. However - many of the trees that were planted died within the first 2-3 years. Those that died within 2 years were replaced for free under warranty. Those that died after 2 years were no longer under warranty. I had to spend the same amount of money to replace them.

For example, one of the many projects we had Tentinger do was the installation of 6 Canadian Hemlocks. The cost was somewhere around $4500-$5000. Within 3 years 4 of the 6 had to be replaced (3 after the warranty expired). Another landscape company removed two of the dead hemlocks this morning and showed me where the roots had been cut. In his words the trees “never had a chance.”

We also had 3 bald cypress installed by Tentinger. All 3 are dead - after the warranty expired. I have not yet had them removed - but fully expect their roots will have been cut as well. BUYER BEWARE!

My wife had Tentinger out about two years ago and they designed/installed a small patio grill combo for entertaining family and friends. Turned out great! Exceptional attention to detail and he was able to work with our modest budget. I had them out again last year to do a front yard planting, everything grew in nicely. I would recommend them to anyone in the area looking for quality work at a fair price.

We have had the pleasure of working with Zach and his crew with both landscape and hardscape projects at our home. The crews are prompt, courteous and very hard working! Zach is creative with plans as well as attentive to our suggestions and concerns. We recommend Tentinger for your next project!

Today a Tentinger crew came out for the first time to do lawn maintenance. I received a call yesterday with an estimate, which is nice, most companies just leave it in your mailbox. Then Zack Tentinger followed up with an email. I accepted the quote and they were here the next day! Great customer service! When I returned home from work, my yard looked fabulous. Tentinger Landscapes does our yard maintenance and we are so glad we went with them! We have ALOT of planting beds with a variety of different plants and their crews take care of pruning them all at the right times, weeding, mowing, collecting grass clippings etc. so we could focus on enjoying our yard instead of just working in it. We get so many compliments on our yard thanks to them!!

I hired Tentinger Landscapes in Spring of 2023 to remove a massive deck and install a patio. When they came to look at the job, they came up with several options for me to think about. They were open to my thoughts, opinions, and goals for my outdoor space. The guys had the deck removed and in the dumpster in less than two days work (they move very quick!). You could tell the employees are passionate about their work; they were clean, tidy, and highly meticulous. After the job was done, everything was cleaned up and I was ready to enjoy it. My outdoor space looks outstanding, and it’s a big conversation piece with my jealous neighbors! 5/5!

Tentinger was great to work with. They came and actually listened to what we wanted. They helped us pick out pavers and plants, created a rendering of what our project would look like completed. We changed the walkway around our home with pavers and put new landscaping in the front and back of the house. They were very helpful throughout the process. We hired them again to redo our back patio and added more hardscape for an additional seating area and plants to complete the look. Tentinger even helped with an issue created by another contractor and figure out a solution. Great company to work with, I highly recommend them.

After moving into our brand new home, we needed our whole yard landscaped. We interviewed four companies and Matt at Tentinger was the only one that actually listened to our likes and dislikes. The price was competitive. They did the work when scheduled and they were very neat. We are vey happy with our new yard, but it is also nice when neighbors stop and tell us how much they like it.

Last year, my wife and I decided to build a full pavilion and outdoor kitchen to add to our existing pool area. We looked at several different companies, and decided to go with Tentinger Landscapes for a variety of reasons. While they were not the least expensive, we were very impressed with similar projects they had done in our area. We were convinced they would build the highest quality structure within our budget. And our project manager, Matt was great throughout the entire process. Neither my wife or I had any experience with this type of project and Matt helped us with every aspect. From design, to materials, to appliances, to lighting etc...

During the actual construction, every worker was courteous, professional, and answered all our questions. Tentinger was also very accommodating when we decided to make some changes mid-way through the project. Overall Tentinger Landscapes did an awesome job. The project was completed by the end of the summer, and it exceeded our expectations. I'd be happy to recommend Tentinger to anyone considering a similar project.

Matt Thumm of Tentinger Landscapes is a creative and detailed landscape artist. Front walk with pavers, side walk with pavers, increased size of patio, whole house lighting in trees and shrubs, fantastic stone staircase out from house, and finally the end of driveway w lighting, stone and landscaping. Obviously, Matt is excellent beyond words. Choices he provides are amazing, stays in budget and time. Keeps the site clean after each evening. Yes, we are willing to share his best most amazing talent. He’s the best! Thanks Matt!
