Throughly enjoyed working with Tentinger! They did a beautiful job on all of our plantings, landscaping, hardscapes and lighting. We highly recommend them and have referred them to family and friends.

We used this company last fall.. it seemed that the person that came out was knowledgeable. Then this year items did not make it… I called, texted with no answers to how I would get replacements under warranty… This is my front yard. I had to have dead plants all summer. And to this day no one has came to see, reached out to discuss replacement. Be aware and cautious using this company!!! I have never written a review of a company…

Working with Matt Thumm on an outdoor living space was a great experience whereas, any concerns we had it was taken care of with no excuses or saying it couldn't be done. The team on sight was very respectful and very attentive to questions we had along with being responsible in picking up trash and keeping work space in tact. Matt went OVER AND BEYOND our expectations. We look forward to future projects and, in the meantime, we are enjoying our outdoor space that was created through Tentinger and made a reality! Excited to see the finished project (on our end) with house painted this Spring and incorporate the new design with back porch and staircase installed.

Very prompt and courteous. Tim showed up ON A SUNDAY! He told us every step he was taking to trouble shoot out issue and was able to track down what made out circuit keep breaking.
Will be hiring him soon for a ceiling fan installation!

Tim was professional, had every tool needed and installed an entire service from the outside pedestal all the way to my ex-fuse box, which he upgraded me to a Square D breaker box and brought me up to DeKalb county electrical code. The whole job took about 4.5-5 hours, but it also included bending conduit and crawling around under my trailer. I definitely made the right choice and will be going back when the need arises.

Tried & True Contracting did a major remodeling job on our master bath. In addition to general upgrades, we wanted to expand the shower and get rid of the soaking tub. Matt and his crew demo'ed the existing bathroom down to the studs and installed all the new fixtures including wallboard, flooring, lighting, tile, glass and fixtures.

Matt was always available when we needed a question answered or wanted advice on something. The crew was friendly, efficient and always left the site clean and neat. We felt the job was completed in a reasonable amount of time for a fair price. We would definitely recommend Tried & True for any remodeling job you're considering.

I can’t say enough good things about Tried and True contracting. I worked specifically with Matt and his team here near downtown Geneva and after going through 4/5 different companies asking for quotes and having them come into my house, I couldn’t go with anybody else because Matt was just so responsive and willing to hear all of my crazy ideas for our renovation. Our house is built in the 1920s and it wasn’t an easy project but I had a very specific vision and I’m very opinionated so I didn’t make it easy. Family and friends that have come and seen the new house with the renovation always comment on how meticulous the work they did was. I’ve already recommended them to three or four different people and plan to use them for future renovations.

I had a full bathroom done with custom glasswork for the shower and a custom closet/walls converting a bedroom to a walk in closet/changing room

I should mention how consistent they were with coming in and often times getting work done ahead of schedule. They worked with me and gave me options that worked with my budget - I just appreciated the authentic, straight forwardness and willingness to work with whatever I had in mind.

Great service & quality work. Matt was always available to answer questions. We have had multiple work completed by them & always happy with the outcome. (Complete bathroom gut, flooring throughout the house, recessed lighting...) We have more plans & will be calling Matt. He is the only one we trust to get the job done right.
