    Mr. Reid came out to inspect a blocked sewer line in the basement. He quickly diagnosed the problem, went to work, and was able to fix it. Best part was he left a really clean area afterwards. All the muck was gone! Pricing was fair and affordable. Would definitely call him again.

    Requested a quote for a water pressure backup for sump system. I made it clear that I was accepting quotes from a number of plumbers whom I had found on the BBB site. Mr. Ried came over the following morning. Upon seeing the sump well in my home, Mr. Reid would not offer a quote because I have a radon cover on my sump. He said there would not be room for a water pressure backup system and that he would not have come out if he'd known I had a radon seal on my sump. (He never asked about this when we talked on the phone the day before and I invited him to come out and give me a quote.) Then, I asked him to review the backflow trap on my sump discharge. He said it was not necessary. He said that rather than getting a water pressure backup system, I should get a new battery for my backup sump system. Then, he charged me $65 for "service". I said I did not think he charged for quotes. He said he did not offer any quote so this was a "service call." However, he did not perform any service, either. He was here for about 40 mins. looking around and talking, but he did not do any plumbing.

    The guys at Reid Plumbing were very professional and efficient. With my main water line in the crawl space under the house frozen solid, they were the only Plumbing company in the area willing to come out and take a shot at thawing the line. They came out within the hour, took care of the problem in an hour and saved me a ton of $$ over the cost of replacing busted lines.
